It was our first time at Billy Bob's and we loved it. The place was spacious and the dance floor was dusty 😉 and made it easy to dance on.
William Beckmann is a young man with an old soul. His voice is captivating, and his songs always tell a story. This was our 3rd time seeing him
RCS were awesome the crowd was weak. A lot of Yellowstone wannabe cowboys and cowgirls that were more concerned with the scene as opposed to the actual talent on stage. They wouldn’t STUF and enjoy the show. Talk talk talk. Nonetheless I guess that’s typical for Billy Bobs.
Another Amazing Concert from Jon Wolfe! My husband and I fly to Texas from California to see Jon Wolfe and his band at least once or twice a year. Jon puts on a high energy, singing along old school Country Music concert. His ability to tell a story through his songs is legendary and makes you feel like you have Boots on a Dance Floor at Some Ol' Bar in the 90's with Beers we ain't drank yet or watch a Tequila Sundown. If you ever get a chance to see Jon Wolfe and his band it's a must see show.
Best night ever. Jon Wolfe is incredible, if you like traditional country music then you want to check out Jon. My wife and I and another couple drove 10 hours to see this concert and it was so worth it!! If I was asked to describe Jon Wolfe in one word it would be Authentic. I bought 10 tickets when they went on sale for the fan club folks and 7 of the 10 that I invited had not heard of Jon but after seeing him live they are now fans. I was given the opportunity to meet Jon after the show and what a GREAT TIME it was. Jon and his wife Amber were fantastic. So thanks Jon and Amber for a night we will never forget.
Awesome bluegrass band even without Chris Stapleton. I'll go to the show again next time they are in town. Tammy, the fiddle player, pretty much lost her voice so she promised to make it up to us and come back.
The Steeldrivers are awesome, no doubt about it. They are some of the most talented artists and performers in Nashville. I had seen them 5 times in smaller venues in Nashville, Austin, and The Cavern (the best) before this show at Billy Bob's. So I admit, I've been somewhat spoiled when it comes to the sound quality. But the sound quality at Billy Bob's was by far the worse I had ever experienced at a music venue. We were seated on the left side (facing the stage), in the second row of tables (B4), and the sound was a mashed up mix of mid-range sounds and all the vocals were muffled, however the center area directly in front of the stage was much better. There was also feedback on the lead vocalists mic numerous times. It did all get better during the last 20 minutes of the show which means they were trying to make it better. It was the first time the Steeldrivers had ever placed at Billybobs as a group, and Billy Bob's must be a difficult place for acoustics. So I just think it took a while for the sound crew to get it right. It sounded great toward the end. The Steeldrivers will always be a 5 star performance no matter how crappy the sound quality is.
Randy Rodgers ban was great as always. The way over priced drinks from the bar was a deal killer. It was mine and my wife’s first visit there and we loved the place from the bull riding to the big open layout. But when it’s $22 for two small drinks it makes me rethink making the drive to come back.
I would love to upload some pictures and share my impression of the concert yesterday. But I live in Germany and can't judge that from a distance of almost 9000 km (5,595 miles). But Gary Allen's shows are always super great. So I think yesterday's concert was a complete success. Both for him and for his fans!! Or?
Third time to see him, and he just gets better and better every time. I just don’t understand why HE is not the headliner! He sure deserves to be! Just awesome! Can’t wait to see him again!
We had an amazing time at the show. A great mix of old and new!!! I’ve seen them probably 10 times now and took my husband, daughter, son and his friends for their first Southall and Billy Bob’s experience. They had a blast!!!
As a new fan, I was mostly familiar with the biggest hits, but pleasantly surprised by the larger portfolio of work. The music was at interesting as this artist, and his openness to sharing his story-I even bought the book! Inspirational in ways I didn't expect. Loved the show and hope music continues as part of his life and future ministry.
All I can say is they were awesome that night. It was my first Drake Milligan show but it definitely will not be my last one. I'm already planning my next show to attend of theirs. I cannot wait I love , love, love them!
April 15, 2023, at Billy Bob's in Fort Worth, Texas, Drake Milligan and the Ready Boys? band, originally from Texas, were absolutely amazing!!! Drake, with a great and super cool voice, great writing skills (in my book, every song is a No. 1), an amazing band skillfully put together with a great sound and harmony, to great stage presence, this band is the real deal.
Bringing the House down with songs like "Sounds Like Something I'd Do, Kiss Goodbye All Night, Bad Day To Be A Beer, She, Long Haul, Hearts Don't Break Even, Cowboy Kind of Way, plus so many more great songs.
As far as country music is concerned, Drake Milligan and the Ready Boys? band, are the future and what a great future they have in store. Most definitely looking forward to another concert and the sooner, the better...they are HANDS DOWN, a unique band with a unique sound, and unique songs. Before we know it, they will be appearing on CMA and the Grammys, winning and walking away with top notch awards.
Y'all do yourselves a favor and catch a concert with the amazing and talented Drake Milligan and Ready Boys? band...2023 will be their eventful and exciting year...ENJOY THE CONCERT!!! :) :) :)
FANTASTIC! Drake and the boys are hotter 'n a ROCKET! WOW! What showmanship, charisma and shredding!
All the guitar players were at the top of their game as was the drummer and FIDDLE player. Man, it was like he was beating the devil at the crossroad!
The chemistry between Drake and his band members was tight and joyous as were their songs. Both originals and famous covers.
I loved Drake's storytelling and patter to the audience between takes. Good, heartfelt stuff.
My expectations going in were high, but Drake and his band WAAAY exceeded those.
He shot me into Bliss and happy, energetic Ecstasy! So energizing, fun and uplifting.
KUDOS to all of them!!!
Best ever!! 2nd time seeing them. And this was by far the best one. This was the first band that started my boyfriends journey of a boat load of concerts in his future! Lol. I hope he don't regret it. Lol. 🤣🤣
Aaron was down to the acoustical part of the show. I’d had a few too many… and kept yelling for AL to sing What Hurts the Most. He leaned over to his partner on stage and said something, then came back to the mic “I’m going to sing the dog shit out of this song”. And he did. Outstanding. Dude has lung capacity like no other! Great vocals! Great show!

Felt like a one in a lifetime experience. Him and his band are so down to earth, felt like buddies on a backporch with a guitar and some beers. Can't speak highly enough about how great that concert made me feel, as an American and a Texan with liberty as my guiding force. Aaron has that wrapped up in 3-4 min songs that brings tears to my eyes
Tracy Byrd and The Byrd Dogs were amazing as always. Damn that man has a voice that melts the panties off every woman in attendance. So excited to hear a new song by him last night. While Tracy was awesome, Billy Bobs should have turned the damn heat on. Lmao. It was like 40 degrees by the stage. Thank you for another amazing concert Tracy!! Cheers, Ken & Shay
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Love his message, Love his performances, Love the incredible gift that he chooses to share with us. I see him anytime he is anywhere near Ft. Worth, Texas.
I even attend Aaron's concerts alone if I have to.
Aaron if you see these, thank you! I have no doubt it has not always been easy on you and your family. Thank you for sharing your message and gift with us.

Kid Rock was great. Would go see him again for sure. Billy Bob’s not so much. There were 3 major arguments around us where I thought fights were going to break out. It’ll be a long time before I go there again as I didn’t feel safe.
