To start upchuck was a very different sound from what you would a Faye Webster opener to be.. but holy cow did they did great crowd really seemed to like them towards the end. Faye did a wonderful job as well with lots of crowd interaction having us sing with her as well, towards the end of the show upchuck came on stage as well with Faye great night
Wonderful show! The venue had free water, including multiple security members up front making sure people stayed hydrated (and making sure the crowdsurfers were held up and caught safely). They provided glasses upon request. The vip experience was unfortunately pretty short compared to the last time i had a vip experience, but there were so many people in the vip line that it was totally understandable. I still managed to get my vinyls signed and a picture with my favorite band in the whole world on the day before my BIRTHDAY! They're such kind people and the music went so, so hard. So many bangers! The only dissapointment was that the only new singles vinyl the venue had was the parasite vinyl due to shipping issues.
AMAZING EVENT SET IT OFF NEVER FAILS TO PUT ON A FANTASTIC SHOW!! One thing I will say is I think next time they should try to upgrade to a bigger venue as this one was sold out and super packed in there and I’ve been to other concerts at this venue and it’s never felt that squished . Other than that it was a fantastic night and the openers were also great!
Great show, as always for Machine Head, they will always be the bulldozer that crushes all. My first time seeing Fear Factory and they crushed it, the new vocalist fits really well in this band and nails every song. I unfortunately missed Orbit Culture, but everyone I asked said they absolutely killed it. The House of Blues is still my favorite venue for shows like this. Sound quality is great, and it's intimate without feeling too cramped. Overall, great energy that night, it was one hell of a time.
Been seeing TDWP any chance I could get for over 15 years and it’s always an amazing time! I even had the great pleasure to meet them this time! While brief, it was just a great honor to be able to personally thank the boys of The Devil Wears Prada for their work and for sharing this with us. Fit For A King are incredibly nice guys and the stage presence was so intense!! I am so glad I finally got to see them live and look forward to many more to come!
Normally when you see a guitarist, you get a lot of instrumentals. With Nita Strauss, you get an excellent mix of material from her first solo record "Controlled Chaos" (a totally instrumental album) and from her 2023 followup "The Call of the Void." "Void" was unique in that Nita tapped some friends of hers, including David Draiman of Disturbed, Dorothy Martin, and Lzzy Hale of Halestorm.
Nita brought along an excellent vocalist who was able to handle the breadth of the vocal talents that was on "Void." Kacey Karlson handled these differing vocal stylings (including Alissa White-Gluz's "death growl" on "The Wolf You Feed") outstandingly, and it added a great deal to Strauss' performance.
Whether you get a chance to see Nita as a headliner or as an opening act (she will be continuing with Mammoth WVH in 2024), you would be remiss if you didn't get to the show. Strauss' guitar talents are outstanding, her touring band is tight and powerful, and the show is entertaining.
Nothing More is one of my favorite bands, so even on a bad day, they are still amazing. That being said, the vibe was off; I’m not sure if it was related to the drama going on or what, but I did appreciate Jonny just pushing through it. I know it has been difficult for both him and the band. I think this was the first time seeing Nothing More without them doing an encore (I’ve seen them 6 or 7 times at this point) so that was kinda a bummer too. But still, the show was awesome and I’m wishing nothing but bigger and better things to come their way in the next year! Side note: please don’t tour with Hydro whatever his name is again; I wasn’t impressed and found him to obnoxious, rude, and talentless. I enjoyed the first opener though!
This band is an incredible live band! The energy throughout the whole concert was unbelievable. The singer still sounds amazing, the songs were tight,heavy, greatlybmixed. Good old fashioned speed/ heavy metal. No declining here. It was great to see a mosh pit, crowd surfing; brought back good memories from 20-30 years ago. One of the best live shows I've seen in a while! I'm so glad that I went!
Loved, loved, LOVED Mac's performance. The musicality is there like- words can't describe what I'm thinking and feeling rn. Honestly was in utter shock how well his band played that night, literally speechless. Especially when everyone had their own sesh to jam out with their instruments. So fucking good. His music is so much better to listen and vibe to live. Bro was hitting them notes like it was church. I honestly wish the audience was more alive ESPECIALLY for Mac's music like bffr. But other the while, I had a beautiful night, I can't wait for another one just like this. Mac please, do come back :')
What a great show! OLN was nothing short of A-MAZING. First time seeing them - won't be the last. Love all the energy that they put out there. Sounded great live. Oh, and they're from my home state of NH! Super cool.
Fame on Fire was really good too! Only heard a couple of their songs before, and liked what i heard that night.
Only issue was with House Of Blues - Unfortunately, had the incorrect times listed for the bands playing. So, we ended up missing Rain City Drive. =O(
Otherwise, it was a fantastic night out with the wifey. So far, Best concert of 2023!!!
I’ve been listening to colony house for years now. Will Chapman is actually the guy that I learned how to drum from, just watching him play and loving his style so much that I started playing that way as well. This was the first concert I ever went to, and it was such a surreal experience. I even turned to my girlfriend and said “is this real?” Just being that close to the band and seeing that they were just as cool in person as they were on YouTube and podcasts and Spotify and every other place I had seen them was the most amazing musical experience of my life
AFI sounded really good live. Knew some songs as I was never a huge fan of theirs but it was nostalgic to hear songs from sing the sorrow even though I would have liked to have heard the leaving song pt.2. I went for drab majesty (opener) and I enjoyed it but think they got gypped due to sound issues (guitar too low and reverb too high on keys).
I've waited all my life to see Banks live, and it hurts me so much to give this performance three stars.
The two opening acts were each one hour long, which was annoying but it also gave me high expectations of what Banks' stage time would be. Boy, was I wrong; She left after 60 minutes on stage on the dot.
She performed very few songs, and although I loved hearing Brain live, she only did one song from III, and I was really looking forward to more.
Her performance of Better was subpar compared to the one from the San Diego show, and she even forgot the lyrics to the iconic Beggin for Thread, so at one point the audience was singing for her.
At the end of the show, Banks said: "I have been having (present perfect continuous) so much fun. I love you all", and she left. The whole audience was confused, and we waited for her for 30 minutes. It wasn’t even a real goodbye, but she never came back.
I went to see her all the way from Ecuador. I've loved her music since I was seven. Although I had so much fun singing along with her to the tracks from The Altar, this show really could have been so much more with a bit more effort.

The show was fantastic. My first time at House of Blues. Very impressed. I could be one of their oldest fans!! I’m 70 and disabled. The staff took great care of my husband and I. We had a great waitress, Alyssa, very attentive and personable. The energy was just unbelievable. These guys blew me away. I have only been watching them for 3 years on social media. Very cool. This was my birthday gift. Perfect !!
I will be back to House of Blues. 💕
It was my first time seeing ONE OK ROCK perform live after listening to them for 5-ish years and I was not disappointed at all!! The energy was so fire and the guys really WENT OFF in their performances! They were kind and interactive with the audience and even gave an encore. Stage presence was impeccable!
The show totally beats watching a performance video or listening to the album alone!!!
100% percent seeing them again for their next tour!! They were simply unforgettable.
Next time, I just gotta snag some VIP tickets!

Fame on Fire and You Me At Six were fantastic when they opened the show! Fame on Fire especially impressed me! They may have earned themselves a new fan ;-)
Hearing this pivotal record for a Thrice come to life was a truly powerful and moving experience for any diehard fan of this band. The ones who stuck with them after Artist In The Ambulance got a treat this tour. They clearly favor this album as their own personal favorite and that’s what you got when they performed it live. Heavy, emotional, bottom ended, and pure. They absolutely killed it. Seeing this live made me fall in love with this album even more. Such a great experience and a great way to put a shine on an old treasure. The signed commemorative poster was a great bonus as well.
Amazing shows. They played new material off of Balance, that we were lucky enough to listen to before the show. They also played some of the songs we know and love from the back catalog that is available right now on Amazon, and I'm sure other places as well. Check this band out live. They have impressed me every time I've seen them. Also spend a little money and download one or more of their releases. You will find yourself listening to them over and over. Or if you're not sure, at least start out by listening to them on Spotify. You will not be disappointed.
I saw Slander for the first time at EDC Orlando 2019 and was blown away with his set and performance. I hadn’t listened to him much before hand, but he turned some of my friends and I’s heads. The concert at HOB was amazing! Midnight T is always a good character to start off with. Dylan Matthew was beautiful as usual, I could listen and watch a Slander and DM collaboration all day. Slander is for sure top artist for me and one of my favorite performers!
They came out on fire, the crowd was churning like a turbulent ocean & then we all experience quite the scare when Josh laid passed out & propped up on his drum kit just a couple songs into their set. Claudio was one of the first to notice Josh & rushed to his side. Josh was able to revive himself after just a few quick seconds & totally regained his composure. The band addressed the crowd stating that they will take a moment to make sure Josh is all good & to have him cleared by the paramedics. If sources are correct, Josh has actually been diagnosed with "Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome." Super not fun! After about 20 minutes or so, Coheed and Cambria recaptured the stage with Josh leading the pack. Chants of, "Josh, Josh, Josh..." filled the air & Coheed once again set HoB Orlando ablaze!
The band was awesome and they get a five star rating from me. But the venue on the other hand was awful. I brought my special needs son to his first ever concert for his Birthday (yes it had to be Blue October no other band would do). While we got situated in our spots a drunk group came over and and was spreading their arms and legs out so nobody could pass or move and wouldn't let my son see even though I explained that it was his first show. So after the opening band we chose to go upstairs to see if there was a spot for him up there and there wasn't so we made our way back down stairs and we moved to the right of the the stage and besides the speaker being in the way he had an alright view and we were going to stay there but then 4 extremely drunk ladies made their way over and the one that was the drunkest kept elbowing and shoving my son and when he stepped forward as much as he could she started going off on him like it was his fault she was an as*. So I tried to explain my sons situation to her and she started yelling at me about him being rude (Michael doesn't speak to strangers because he's extremely shy and slow minded). So we left the area and went to the back next to the entrance and couldn't see anything so he tried to see/watch on the little TV that was hanging there. Then our luck a group of tall guys just stepped in front of Michael so they'll could see. I was so frustrated that I texted my brother to let him know how miserable Michael and I were (yes I was crying by this point). No I didn't take my sons wheelchair (which he uses if there is going to be alot of walking or standing) because I was told that there wouldn't be room at the venue for it. Even though I spent a lot of money for this show I was ready to go when my brother told me my sister-in-law was on the phone with someone at The House of Blues Orlando and they told me to find someone in a blue shirt and everything would be taken care of. The guy in the blue shirt took me to a guy in a purple shirt and he was awesome!!!! He took my son and I and put him in a seat on the balcony!!!! My sons face went from miserable to beaming and he smiled for the first time since the concert started, he actually started trying to sing along!!!! Even though I appreciated the HOB fixing the problem I will definitely not be returning there.
