It was insane.
I first saw drug church when they opened for deftones in February this year, and I loved how they got the crowd moving and had their own unique sound.
Last night I went and liquid Mike and downward were good openers, but when drug church came out, the crowd instantly went insane, everyone was moshing, crowd surfing, stage diving, it was such a good experience.
Would defo buy a ticket to see them again, I’m sure in years to come they will be doing big tours 🙏
The Ladytron gig at Gorilla in Manchester was a fantastic experience overall. The audience was brilliant—engaged, energetic, and really added to the atmosphere without being overwhelming.
One of the standout aspects of the venue is how easy it is to enjoy the show from pretty much anywhere. Whether you’re near the front or further back, you still get a great view and feel connected to the performance.
The sound quality was spot on. Even right at the front, where it can sometimes get muddy, the mix remained clear and well-balanced, which really elevated the whole gig.
All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable night with great vibes, excellent sound, and a venue that works perfectly for live music.
By now, for me, it's difficult to imagine awarding a Westside Cowboy show anything less than 5 stars. Always excellent when I've seen them, the homecoming show at Manchester's Gorilla was no exception, even with the ticket price being around a fiver more than the rest of the tour dates.
I think one of the things that especially endears me to Westside Cowboy (exceptional songwriting and musicianship aside) is the band's awareness of the fans through their interactions. So it was that we were treated to a "we never do this" three song encore following the full, main set.
It's a great and growing setlist now, with the venue sizes also getting larger. The future of Westside Cowboy feels exciting and it's always a lot of fun to be a small part of it.
We actually missed the Manchester album launch so went to the one in Birmingham instead,it was unbelievable and the new album is excellent
The crowd where loving it,sub focus has smashed it with this album fair play its an unbelievable record
the venue was really air conditioned which was nice so it didn’t get hot!! It’s quite a cramped venue or i think it was just around me. Normally when i’m in the pit at a concert it isn’t very squashed together but it was here!! It got better once dora came on though! overall an amazing concert with an amazing venue. The sound quality in here was amazing! Dora jar was a dream too!! she’s so fun and gets everyone so hyped!
The first support act was very good but I was not impressed with the second. Frontline assembly were excellent and well worth leaving the evil dead monastery on the West coast of Ireland to see & I'm looking forward to the next time.
Good venue and a very good night. Divorce were excellent. Came across as modest, funny and kind (ask the audience member who sang on stage with them). Songs were right on the money, the playing was tight and the vocals superb.
I would highly recommend.
Lucia’s vocals soared over the a tight performance from the band during a set that seemed to fly by. She had some lovely asides in the links between songs and really connected with her audience. Don’t miss the opportunity to see them if you get the chance
I gotta say that last nights gig was the best live show for me of all time and trust me I’ve been to a good few gigs in my time. The vibe the sound the crowd and most of all Stephen and the guys for putting on a fantastic show, my god I’m still buzzin from it.
I am absolutely blown away by how good last night was. Just WOW………wow
Big shout out to Zandi too, you rocked gal🤘🏻❤️
My daughter and I loved every minute.
Please come back to the UK asap please please please 🤘🏻👌🏻❤️👊💥
Amazing venue to eat at before the gig, amazing venue all round, amazing support acts (Starbenders we’re coming for you next) and Mothica… WOW!!!! We saw you last year as Halestorms support and you were amazing! Your confidence has grown and we can’t wait to see you again!!!
Absolutely insane gig - the sound was incredible in spite of some issues with Jay's monitor (I think?) at the start. The energy was high throughout with Nick crowdsurfing, and the audience singing along with practically every word of every song. The venue was small enough to feel intense and packed, but the sound and lighting punched above their weight. Just sensational.
This was an amazing gig at an intimate venue. The performance was exceptional and the band were really tight. Margo played stuff that I knew from Strays and other material I was less familiar with. All great fun and delivered with tremendous energy. Margo has charisma in bundles and I would b*t is better known in the USA than here.
Fans of Country and Americana, old and young, should check her out.
Great night in a venue I would highly recommend.
Well, that was unreal. My first time seeing Margo and her band. All incredible musicians! Such a tight band but with brilliant musicianship, happy to turn any song into a jam. Margo was on great form - such a great voice and a true show woman! Also, a word for the support, Kelsey Waldon: beautiful, true voice, lovely songs and great interaction with the audience.
Absolutely outstanding show. To describe Margo Price as a country singer does her and her band a huge disservice. They transcend genres and live they absolutely kick a*s. How they’re not playing bigger venues in the U.K. still amazes me. There’s not many better around right now!
They’re biggest gig to date and they were faultless. A tight set exuding joy and excitement with seemingly every track a banger. The beguiling “She is” was an acoustic interlude in what was a well paced, barnstorming show.
The enthusiastic crowd added to a sense of a band at their peak who are surely on the cusp of reaching a wider audience
STunning
Amazing live performance with someone with such an impressive vocal range. I am surprised that she is not as well known as she should be given her vocal talent. And she also comes across as a really nice person.
What a night ! from Apre kicking things off with high energy, high octain filled songs, that got us all buzzing, to Sea Girls hitting us with a set, that we won't forget for a very long time. It's a long time since I've seen a room so energized, engaged and bouncing to every song. Cheers guys for an unforgettable night !!! ✨😄💕
Seafret on top form, as always ! The boys never fail to impress !! From Harry"s guitar brilliance! !!! To Jack's magical voice control !!! Amazing.!!! And always good to catch up with Rosbourgh, the perfect accompaniment, to a perfect evening ! Cheers guys !!
Really good performance by Goat Girl - very lively and enjoyable. However Goat Girl only camp on very late which meant I had to miss a fair bit of the performance to get a train. I wish they started earlier. The first support act, Black Country New Road, were very good, and I think any fan of Goat Girl would really like them, but the second act Sneaks were very different and the performance dragged on for me.
Overall it was worth the money as Goat Girl were absolutely incredible and the venue was nice, but I think a few things could have been better.
