Amazing seeing Evanescence again after 15 years! Loved them in 2007 and loved them again in 2024. Amy Lee’s voice has matured and sounds so much better now. She was able to sing the entire time with strong vocals and lots of energy. More crowd interaction would have been amazing. The crowd seemingly hasn’t followed along for the past 21 years since Fallen was released as the new songs from the Bitter Truth went over their heads. The die-hard fans got it though and it was a brilliant show. Everyone was standing for Bring Me To Life and it was a beautiful show.
Halestorm, who opened, was incredible! They rocked and had the highest energy out of all the groups. That was a spectacular performance. Lizzy has pipes!
Halestorm was awesome, as aways. They played "I like it heavy" which I have never heard them play live before. Absolutely loved it. Arejay's drum solo was fantastic and I loved it a when the rest of the band brought out drums as well. They always bring so much energy to the shows. I just wish they could go on and on.
The Warning was the opening act and they were fantastic as well. So talented and put on a fantastic show for such a young band. I will definitely be going to more of their concerts as well.
This show was epic from start to finish! The Warning rocked, Halestorm was absolutely on fire, and Evanescence did an epic 1.5 hour set. I absolutely loved the show. The venue staff was a different story. No clear instructions on what to do and they would get snarky when you asked for clarification. They sell bottled water on the concourse, but won’t let you take it into the bowl. Guy snatched the bottle out of my hand without a word, took the cap off, and threw it in the trash. Then I took two steps and got stopped by three guys who were aggressively blocking me from entering until poured my water into a cup. Fine, whatever… but again, there were zero instructions on site or online that said bottled water was not allowed, they didn’t tell me that when I bought two bottles to last the entire show, and they didn’t need to be jerks about it.
The whole show was awesome. Dalton Dover was the opener and that man has an absolutely amazing voice. His own songs were upbeat and gave a nice 90's country vibe. Then he sang an Alicia Keys ballad, and I swear to you, the hair on my arms stood on end! Absolutely beautiful. He's going to be one to watch out for... like the next Luke Combs. Then it was Russell Dickerson, and that man knows how to put on a show! Sounds even better in person than on his albums. He was dancing around, joking and grinding his way along the stage. Had the women in the crowd going wild. Lots of upbeat, high energy songs and a few soft ballads as well. In my opinion, he was the highlight of the night. Then it was Sams turn, and he did not disappoint. Lots of energy. Decent backdrop. All the songs you expected to hear and he sounded exactly the same live as he does on his albums. It could have had better screens and maybe some high tech lighting effects and or pyro technics or something as esthetically, it was a little flat in that regard. That being said, it was still the best all around concert I've been to. Simply outstanding live music, and isn't that what it's really about?
My childhood dream come true. I would’ve much rather seen simple plan at this show instead of fefe Dobson but there will be other concerts I’m sure. Girlfriends opened and I fell in love with their sound immediately! Avril was exceptional, she put on an incredible performance for her last night of her tour. I cried so many times during her performance cause her lyrics speak to me so much, and it was honestly so surreal that I finally got to listen and see my favourite artist perform all my favourite songs. I will absolutely be seeing her again next tour.
Phenomenal band and electrifying performers. Luke Spiller is a frontman extraordinaire who keeps the audience captivated and engaged with their huge catalog of hit songs. Make sure to see the future legends of the modern era of rock and roll when they are performing near you.
This was my ninth time seeing them, first time being in 1974 (one of their first concerts and my first). They have always put on a great show! .....and this was one of their best !!! They are still amazing and if this is really (I believe it is) their last ever tour ......then they leave in style!!
I sure appreciated how she acknowledged our place as here home as well! The night was spectacular and was very heartfelt at times! I brought my babygirl to celebrate her 26th birthday, an official initiation into womanhood by our Queen Shania was the best !! Shania ROCKS ! 🙌🏽✨💗🪶
Iron Maiden sounds incredible live! Even with their age and in a sucky venue like the dome. Great stage presence and they connect really well with the crowd. They've got some pretty cool theatrics too. Definitely one of the best bands i've seen in concert. If you get the chance, you've gotta go see them!
Probably my 10-12th time seeing them from 15 to 40/years later at 55, phenomenal to this day Bruce,S vocals amazing, Steve Harris lyrics is just an added bonus, Dave Murray who guitars are awesome ( I caught his sweat bracelet in front row back in Piece of mind tour). I have to say how to you fit in all their songs, I was not familiar with the first new songs but understand they need new material. Wished for Power Slave, Rhyme of , the ancient Mariner, etc…
Bruce was wearing casual cargo pants, he didn’t go into costume changes like previous gigs getting into character but loved his clothing. Eddie still rocking it, what about him is not to love.
Nobody wanted the show to end like that. Three new songs and a four minute piano solo, not even a chance for an encore….. why? The floor went from being lit to everyone standing around expecting more. Your could hear the sigh as the lights came on. Not the A7X show I was expecting.
Absolutely outstanding by our boys from Hanna! They are the ultimate in crowd engagement, and in putting on a pure Rock Show! The opening act Brantley Gilbert was a kick ass surprise! Not your grandparents country band!! Amazing country rock and phenomenal musicians in his band! 10/10 on the entire night!!
Thomas Rhett went way above and beyond what we imagined the concert would be. We knew it would be amazing, but we can’t get over how insanely amazing it was. The opening acts were better than any concert we’ve attended also.
By far the best country concert we have attended. We can not wait for him to return to Calgary!!
So great to have the event in Calgary, looking forward to it coming back again.
I enjoyed getting the opportunity to see so many performers in town during CCMA week, but in my opinion Brett went out of his way to reach out to his fans while in Calgary. His friendly, personable and humbling characteristics showed through when he performed at Prince's Island Park for Alberta Day's, plus during the Meet and Greet at Studio Bell.
Loved John for a lifetime and still do
I leaned guitar a few years ago and regularly play Lodi bad moon rising ,have you ever seen the rain proud Mary etc
I’m 72 live in Calgary after living almost next door in Boca for a bunch of years
Keep rockin Jon
I just wanna say that it was me and one of my best friends first time seeing Shawn Mendes in person at a concert for the first time and we've been waiting forever to see him in person and we finally did and his voice is an absolute angel and he's like a different person on stage performing and he had so much energy and we became more of his fans. WE LOVE YOU SHAWN. But isn't he just gorgeous tho and I just love his hair. And me and one of my BFF's think that he's absolutely hot and cute, I mean he's a Canadian boy like what else do you expect from Shawn. We would love to see you again here soon here in Calgary at the Saddledome again. Please come back to Calgary again because we really enjoyed seeing you perform.
Played nearly all his hits. I like how He and Jackson Brown clearly get along and are brothers and music. The lack of one star has nothing to do with James Taylor and most to do with a Saddledome it’s just isn’t a great place for music
Tim was Tim. Tim is always amazing, no matter the venue. The opening act, James Barker Band, was one of the better opening acts I have seen in a long time (most openers will be openers at best, JBB will be a headliner before they know it).
It was absolutely stunning! I wanted to cry through so many of the songs, but when Believe started I couldn't help myself. I was absolutely bawling! But they were happy tears!! It was breathtaking and I only wish that this hadn't been the only time I have and will ever see her in concert. ❤ you Cher!!
The show was fantastic!!! The music, the imagery, the artists so amazing. My first time see them and hear them play the songs I have loved for for so long and my kids rocking with me. LOVE LOVE LOVE SMASHING PUMPKINS heart bursting, mind blown!!!!
