Probably the best live show I've ever seen. Shawn's talent is on a different level than even the most famous musicians. I like seeing live music, but once I've seen a show, then I usually don't need to see them again. I feel the opposite with Shawn James. I will see him every single time he comes back to the Denver/Boulder area. He truly is a once in a decade type of talent. And on top of all that, the price for the tickets was so incredibly reasonable, which is extremely rare to find these days with concerts. Even if you don't think Shawn James is as incredible as I do, the "value" you'll get out of that show for the price will certainly be better than most concerts you have probably been to recently.
We Love Ricky Lee! The concert was so personal and the Venue The Boulder Theatre was the perfect venue for her performance. We felt like we were at a big party that Ricky Lee was throwing and we were all Guests at her place and she came out at a point to entertain us at her house. She's a Treasure, so genuine. Her interpretation of the poetry in her songs is uniquely her own. Powerful and Touching. We have made love to Ricky Lee more than any other music in our 37 years of Marriage.

Great show, the band was very tight and the venue ( boulder theater was really nice . one small criticism- in the sections where tigran and the bass were plying heavy bass lines together it sounds great. when tigran was playing more melodically it was a little hard to hear his right hand playing - not sure if this was an EQ thing or they needed a second mic for the mid and high range of the piano but it was small issue and did not dampen my enjoyment of the show
patty griffin was better than fresh air. her triumvirate changed the music and how she sang her songs, but was brilliant just the same. special highlights were the guitar-tambourine solo and concert goer having a medical emergency early into a song patty was singing. it was boulder, so at least ten people from the audience got up to help the person. medical training ftw! go see patty, her voluminous hair, and her her two exceptionally talented bandmates. it is all too wild, never mild.
What a fun and entertaining concert. Fascinating to hear Pat Metheny talk about his music over his decades of playing and the influence different guitars have on his sound and styles of jazz. His inventiveness and playfulness especially towards the end of the show was a joy to watch.
They Might Be Giants preform all of "Flood" and other great hits of theirs. They even performed "Sapphire Bullets of Pure Love" completely backwards, then played the video in reverse for the second half of the concert and it was the song forward! Very talented. It's been a while since we've had that much fun.
The overall show was great. Sound and lighting was good. Flogging Molly was superb. Staff of venue were great. Womens restroom was a disaster. No way to form a line and attempt at it resulted in upset patrons and someone being hit by-the door.
My first time seeing and hearing Lotus. Wife and I had a great time and we were lucky to be around cool people too. First set was lots of jamming and the bass player was exceptional. It got very loud by the end of the set so we could feel the music. Second set was a bit different with the band almost getting into trance music and the volume shook the building. The band was just fantastic, that is really what I think. My only complaint is the need to work on singing if they want to sing. I’ll see them again.
My wife and I, long time jam band fans, took a chance and saw Lotus last night. Really enjoyed the music and the crowd. First set was rather jazzy and the musicianship was superb! Second set was different in that it had a great mix of jam and trance sounds. It did get loud at times even with earplugs, so you could really feel the music too. Fun night and wish I had tix for today.
Saturday’s concert was awesome. The band was spot on and smoking hot. My third time seeing the Waiting for Columbus tour and this was the best of the best. If you didn’t see it live, it’s still on Mandolin for a bit.
I was at the venue but bought and recorded the show, thats how good it was.

Ryan is a legend and a genius. Made us laugh and cry- so many feelings!!! I truly hope he continues to tour and share himself with us. The audience in Boulder, tho, is one I will avoid in the future. People don’t need to attract attention- let the star be the star.
They had a lot of good fun energy with the bubbles and hot dog costume man and taking requests from the audience. I wish there was a little more talking to break up the songs from each other because it would have been fun to hear what the band's personality was outside of the songs themselves. Also I was standing way in the back so there was no way they were gonna hear/see me yelling for them to play "Laugh Till I Cry", but they played all their other major hits and a few less big ones. Impressive number of songs for a single set + 3 song encore.
Really enjoyed the Meet & Greet with Q&A. Steve really engaged with the crowd who opted for the extra cost. It was worth every penny. The venue was built in 1935 and was awesome! The show was great and we really enjoyed the VIP seats in the second row. My only complaint was the volume was a bit loud. I never complain about that, in fact most shows are not loud enough, but this was a little over the top at times. The mix and clarity of sound were great, but a few decibels lower would have been perfect!
Thank you for a great show overall!
Not all bands can really play live. Especially when edm style production is involved. These 4 (yes they brought a drummer and bassist along to make a full band) PHO KING CRUSHED IT!!! and BTW that INXS cover is my favorite! Like please release that! Pretty please!! Holy shizballs they are worth a live performance and a half. Also Amtrac has now been added to my playlists (the four tops sample song....... Uh_mazing!
I’ve been to hundreds of shows over the years and rarely am I impressed by unknown bands. Legato was just great! Musically very tight with none of the sterile music that some in this genre have. Clever songwriting and an amazing drummer pulled me into the music. I plan to be at your next show. Thanks for taking me where only great music takes you.
Seeing DiMeola last night was a treat. He still has that bravado with his incredible chops but time has also opened him up to being a sweet likable guy. His stories between songs were charming and quite funny. His New Yorker sense of attitude was on display. He was animated and engaging. The best song of the night for me was Senior Mouse, the Chick Corea classic. Wonderful evening.
I've seen Pat Metheny 7 times, and each one has been a highlight of my live music experiences. Metheny is one of the most creative writers and players of all time, and it's incredible how each tour has a completely different sound, vibe, and creative spark to it. He is a true master of technical skill and musicality, and plays music rich with emotive force.
Even if you are not a fan of traditional jazz, I highly recommend you attend one of his shows at some point. It may just change how you see music.
singing into a banjo, rhythms a cricket could not keep up with, instruments we should have been able to play instead of a recorder in third grade, a tornado of sound frequently mussing my hair, and crazy friendly customers and staff all made this night better than a big glass of milk. so glad you guys were able to reschedule this evening of interesting things to do with the air.
peace, dirt brothers!
Met him a second time and he remembered me. Got to give him a very special gift that I know meant a lot to him. The concert itself was fantastic. I had second row seats and felt like I was sitting in his living room listening to his stories and songs. It'll be a night I'll never forget!!
