I want hail the sun to have a local concert like once a week because every time i leave one of their shows im like “okay when’s the next one”. i’ve seen them three times THIS YEAR!! I swear they get better every time, and it’s so rare for a band, especially in this genre of music, to actually improve as they age instead of turn into something you would hear at a youth group. It was so fantastic to see an older album live for this reason too, Donovan has seriously gotten so much better since Wake was released and seeing it live NOW shows that. So fantastic. Donovan also just has such an amazing stage presence I swear he puts on such a good show every single time. I cant wait for hts to come back to florida. Maybe with like 3 or 4 shows this time so I can follow them around florida again 👀👀👀 please 👀👀👀👀
Toasters were great, but they were frustrated… so was I!!
I’ve seen dozens and dozens of shows at this venue, different stage setups and areas have been used over these years.
The area and the stage setup provided to the Toasters (a larger band) was completely humiliating. I feel terrible for the boys to have to deal with bumping elbows with each other and having the entry door next to their amps.
Every time someone entered or left, they were distracting and dangerously close to the band’s cables and such.
There was even a time when Bucket (lead guitarist and singer) asked for a beer and was quickly brought a bottle of water.
This is just unacceptable forThe Toasters!
I love the Toasters and will ALWAYS see them when they come down, they deserve better treatment than Club Revolution gave them.
About last night!!
We headed to Revolution Live Backyard in Downtown Fort Lauderdale to watch this great punk rock show featuring Bad Religion, Social Distortion 2024 tour and special guest Lovecrimes.
Parking not an issue, the organizer decided to move the venue to the front parking garage, which it was better set up and hold more concert goers. Food trucks, tents, beverages and plenty of all 3 bands Merchandise.
Door open at 6pm and first guest band started at 7pm, @lovecrimesclub , a southern California melodic punk band, Julian Ness, son of Mike Ness plays there. You can notice their influences right away, well suited band, audience received them well. Played for an hour.
At 8:30 pm, @badreligionband took the stage, old school powerfull punk rock / hardcore band, the sound was great, very powerful assembly with solid base of drums and bass and great defined melodic guitars, Greg Griffin still has his, melodic strong voice and lot of movement on stage, they played their classics Fuck You, Infected, Sorrow, New Dark Ages, American Jesus, 21st Century Digital Boy, Do what you want. Mosh pit got crazy and people enjoyed the show. My personal opinion, i take my hat off with this band. 🤘🥁🎸, played for an hour.
At 9:30 pm, @SocialDistortion took the stage, for my surprise a keyboard player was added to their line up. A little more melodious but still some hard driving songs, Sound was a little less powerful than BR but still very good, Mike Ness looks good. Played their classics such as Bad Luck, 1945, Ball and chain, Ring of Fire among others. His song Julian Ness joined them to play one song. Overall a great show, packed to the bones, great sound, lighting and stage set up.
The tour continues, do not miss it.

It was a great show. I've been a fan since early 90s when Rebirth of Slick (Cool like that) dropped. I was a lil kid. In 2020 I listened to the first album and was blown away. To see them live 4 years later is so cool. Plus this was my first hip hop concert. They were amazing on stage. Flow still amazing and they sound just like the cd. They look great too and were all vibing on stage. The opening act Kassa Overall was great too. Def go see them if they come to your city. It's truly worth it.
Better than I could have ever expected! It was my first time seeing the entire lineup live, but I had no idea I'd be blown away. TDWP went on last and and I wish they never left the stage. The room shook with every song, and the energy surging through the room was absolutely insane. If you get the chance to see them, take it! So worth the headache the next morning.
This was my first time seeing Eric Nam live.
Opening acts:
Tiffany Day- She was so much fun. I liked her set and she energized the crowd. A mix of house, dubstep and electronic tracks.
Alexander Stewart- I feel like I've heard his voice before and I feel like he should be known everywhere. His voice is amazing. His songs are great. Also the guitarist/ keyboardist was wonderful. He said he makes 'sad boy' music; songs really tug on your heart. My favorite from him is 'I'm tryin'.
Main attraction:
Eric Nam- He came and started off with a BANG! Good energy, stellar vocals, hot dance moves too. His dancers were great and gave good energy. Highlights were Love Die Young live and hus more serious song about wishing he wasn't himself. I forget thevtitle but it's a really beautiful song; it made me cry. I think it resonated with a lot of people in the crowd too. Also he was too cute singing U Got It Bad by Usher. I was singing with him too, haha. We both messed up on the words haha.
Meeting him for the group photo was fun. I thanked him for coming to Ft. Lauderdale and told him about my crying over his songs and how great the show was.
It definitely was a complete concert experience. The venue handled things really well. Just wish it hadn't been so jot, but that's Florida weather.
I definitely recommend you go see Eric Nam if you get the chance. You'll have a blast.
This is probably the 15th time I've seen ABR and the 5th time I've seen TDWP and this show was absolutely incredible! Bleed from Within (go check them out) absolutely slapped and I found a new addition to my library. TDWP was on their a game and it made me really happy to see them shred, sound really great and put on a great show. Last I saw them it was not their best performance and I'm happy to say they tightened up and sound stellar. And with ABR, every show I've ever seen them is the best show I've ever been to. And last night did not disappoint! They played stuff from every album (20 year anniversary tour so that makes sense) with Suburbia from Thrill Seeker absolutely slllllaps! Oh and the guitar trades with Dustin and JB going back and forth on lead, clean vocals from Jake on their new song (ahhhh!!!!!), And a stage presence that seriously knows no other. They're the undisputed kings of metalcore. The standard bearers IMO. Oh, and Dustin playing his track "Laniakea", an absolutely savage sweep tap solo that will totally melt your face. I'm grateful to have gotten to see that live considering it's a B Side track and they probably won't ever do it again (I also got a great video of the entire thing from start to finish, fucking incredible to see that live)
In conclusion, I say this every time I see ABR but last night's show was probably the best show I've ever been to. Sold out, packed house, Revolution never disappoints. Seriously, props to everyone in involved in putting this together. One of the best music experiences I've ever had if not the best and in grateful I got to be a part of it.
I just started listening to DPS about a month ago when I saw they were playing with Highly Suspect. DPS is incredible live. I’m so glad they had a south Florida stop on the tour. My daughter and I got a chance to meet them after the concert. The band was very generous with their time... Very kind to us.
Death Angel was in top top form , band wise & vocally... passionate , creative , totally real , amazing performance , I was fully connected with this show ! one of the best shows ever. I definitively recommend seeing this band asap , wherever you can. Exodus & Testament were amazing as well , & thier performances were also in top form !! Definitely recommend seeing both of those bands asap as well - really amazing performances all around. Also , the venue was really cool.
Fletcher is hands down one of my favorite artists to see perform live! She puts on an incredible performance. Her energy and stage presence is unmatched. This is her debut album tour so she wanted to play as many new and old songs as possible but she still made time to interact with her fans every chance she could. You can tell that she takes none of this for granted and is so cute when she gets emotional seeing the crowd sing her songs back to her. I have seen her perform live 4 times now and I already cannot wait until her next tour!
It was amazing seeing twod on the road
Big problem with management/ booking agents at the venue (revolution) ft. lauderdale. Way, way way too many people in the venue! Dangerous, they overbooked this show. Ive been to a ton of concerts and this was illegal! Fire Police would have had a field day. You couldn't move! It was an outright crime! I will be contacting the place for a refund. I couldn't see or hear the band. Problem is not a single manager did zero!
Great metal show! So happy to see so many Metal Heads show up on a Monday night! I've seen all these bands already. But I had 1 mission that night. Get a Dave Lombardo drum stick from the legendary Drummer. And I am very stoked to say, I got 1!!! Mission accomplished!!!!!!
So much fun. He made it very enjoyable and told the stories/messages behind his songs. Forest Blakk, who was the opener, was amazing as well and he made lots of jokes and overall both of them just had a good time with the crowd and it was fun :)
Best show I have been to in 40+ years of going to concerts! DF delivers showmanship, genuine band chemistry, and just plain uproarious F.U.N.! Seven Spires, Visions of Atlantis, and Firewind ALL delivered energy, stamina, and talent that was thoroughly enjoyable! The smile never left my face as I flung my hair, bobbed my head, and shouted with horns in the air! 4 HOURS OF NONSTOP POWER METAL! ... and a good time was had by all!
this was the best fucking concert i’ve ever been too, it was so loud but i enjoyed every bit of it. i would def go again in the future. merch has a good price too but it took them a good amount of time to actually start the show. but i love the boys❤️❤️
Best concert ever!! Saw them in Ft. Lauderdale at Revolution Live freaking amazing!! The Gold package VIP IS THE BEST the meet and greet, Q&A and the best part is getting to watch them from side stage. Wish more bands offered that. Thank you Ronnie Radke and Falling In Reverse for that amazing experience. I'm going to do it again in May when they play at House of Blues with Asking Alexandra because the VIP IS SO WORTH IT!! Ronnie is absolutely freaking amazing and sweet and freaking hilarious, super cool!!
4years ago with “An evening with Machine Head” set MH apart from almost every other metal band. 3 hours of sweaty moshing filled with sing alongs.
This tour in a 25 song set list with the performing of the entire album Burn My Eyes. Don’t poss this tour up!
Amazing opening bands
stitched up heart and deep fall very talented and good music!
would love to see them again!
Seven dust was my first ever rock band show got me into loving rock music and It’s always an amazing time seeing them play live especially this year again felt special! I lost my phone in the moshing pit, and the guy I came with, lost his shoe 😂 still was a lot fun! everyone who were in the pit were kind enough to look on ground and help find our belongs that were lost. Good news all was found right after! Happy New Years everyone that was there last night and Sevendust hopefully see you guys in the next family reunion. 🤘💕🥳
It was amazing!! The place they played at was so bad though it was so hot my friend almost fainted 2 times I had to pour water on her :// I then got home and there was like blood dots on my arm?? we went to cvs and the doctor told us I had a allergic reaction to something keep in mind I never ate because I got a tightened for my braces and it was hard to eat because my teeth were hurting, I also didn’t drink anything out of the ordinary, the doctor said it must of been something in the air, I get really panic easily and there was so many people by me punching me and drinking definitely not a place for teens :( but besides that they put on a amazing show :)
