The pros: Sam and his band performed a 90 minute high energy show to a sold out audience at the standing room only general admission Bowery Ballroom in NYC. The venue was the smallest I've seen him perform in (less than 600 people) so it was nice and intimate. He and the band brought the same energy and enthusiasm as when they perform at an arena. Sam was blown away and humbled by the amount of fans that knew the words to all but the 2 new songs he performed. There was a feeling of unity, no pushing or shoving or talking during the show. It felt like a fan club sing along!
The cons: I was frustrated by the venues admission procedure of having us line up outside then letting us into the lounge/bar which was down a full flight of stairs where we lined up for another hour only to go up another set of stairs to enter the ballroom. We then scrambled to get a place by the stage only to find that half of the spots were taken by people who were not VIPS and who waited for barely any time. They were able to go directly into the venue through another entrance at the same time they let us go upstairs thereby arriving before a group of us who waited for 4 plus hours.
The show and the new friends I made in line made it well worth it. I hope they have him back sometime!
Seriously awesome show put on by The Snuts in New York at the Bowery. If they’re coming to a city near you, don’t miss the opportunity to see them! Had the chance to talk briefly w/ some of the guys, they were so kind and gracious. The pigeons in NY can’t wait for the next time they’re in town! Awesome venue too!
MAX shows never, EVER disappoint. Especially in New York City. This man and his whole crew are some of the most energetic and passionate performers and it’s nearly impossible to have a bad time at a show. I highly recommend going to see MAX if you ever get the opportunity. He’s truly a wonderful person on top of being an insanely talented individual.
My first concert, and it was the greatest show of all time. The drummer was so hot and when he went out without his shirt my bisexuality went up like 10,000 points. Oh, yeah, and some Activision exec's kid showed up, and he made me lose my voice shouting and jumping from the back. Incredible show, can't wait for the next tour!
The show was fantastic. Max and the crew made you feel like you were as influential and uplifting to them as they have been for others throughout the years. I Want To Know Your Plan was especially intimate, and really hit every note behind the reason for the band has, to this day, been such a huge part of my life.
This concert.... WHEW LEMME TELL YOU. I never write reviews for concerts on here because I’m lazy but I haven’t shut up about this show for the last 15 hours and maybe writing this will make me stop. This show was so fun and energetic I was genuinely so happy the entire time. The audience was so sweet, security was awesome, the venue was clean and had great sound it was just such a great experience. Rei Brown came out and when Joji came out.... it was OVER. He was so happy and didn’t stop smiling the whole time and the whole and the crowd was so into it but there was no pushing still. Joji sounds great live, he was funny, his stage presence is amazing and he’s just so cute god I love him.
Second time I've seen this band live, but the first time was at a festival, so this is my first full length Sheepdogs show up close and (almost) personal. Great retro 70s style rock and roll, with reverent references to the Allman Bros. band et al, and the addition of Ricky Paquette makes them monstrous. I WILL catch them again any time they come to NY when I am in town.
Lauren was amazing!! Her sister, Geena was her opener and she too was fantastic! They both were so personable and had great energy. Even though I was stuck in the middle-ish, I felt like I was still seen by them both.
Venue was nice! It definitely gets warm with all the people in there and the excitement of it all.
The line for Merch wasn’t too bad, they get you through pretty quickly without being rude either. I wish I had a bag for my shirts, but I understand the no bag restrictions.
No issues with the ticket, I downloaded mine to my apple wallet and they scanned it swiftly.
Wristbands are given out for those over 21, though if you didn’t have your ID out the second someone came around asking for it, it felt like you were forgotten. The bouncer did come back to check them, it just felt like you weren’t going to be able to get that wristband.
New York is well…New York! Had some not so lovely people come up to us while waiting in line and also the usual drive by ‘cat-calling’. There was one drunk guy who came up to me in line and found particular interest in the group of girls behind me. I’m almost positive he was drunk, but he was asking why us “ bit****” were waiting in line. Of course nobody engaged with the conversation but he continued on to call out the girls. Saying things like “you Irish bit****, where do you get your eyes from your mom or dad? Look at you, you little Irish bit****. And you Indian bit****, you Indian bit****”
Doors didn’t open until a few minutes after the event was to start, and the opener, Geena, started about an hour after the event started. Then the main artist, Lauren, about 20 minutes after the opener ended.
Overall it was a fun concert!! The venue inside was nice, and the performers were great!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I needed that so badly -instead of sitting in grief at home I was able to sing, dance and scream it out. And I got to meet Josiah who was so kind to me. Real life hero moment. I’ll hold this night in my heart forever. Until we meet again💖
Concert was absolutely amazing! Not a fan of the venue though. The bouncers denied me entrance because they thought my ID was fake and wouldn’t give me my license back. Had to call the cops to get it back so I could drive home. lol they eventually let me in once they realized they were wrong. Super annoying though cause I missed the opening act and had to stand outside in the rain for two hours. But bbno$ was phenomenal!!
TA provide a rocking and rolling feast for the ears and mind and soul. I knew the hit “Ballad of Hampton Road” for a while now. It’s on my favorite playlist. But getting to hear the band live and getting to hear Patrick Stickles’ funny storytelling made my night...nay...my weekend. I didn’t even care that my purse got stolen. Patrick’s whole family was there to support the end of a tour that came into the station with full intensity. The show ended on a bang, after which Patrick met with fans. I stood to one side and observed his interactions with fans. He was generous and unaffected. I loved his awkward authenticity. I would watch this band again and again. I would watch Patrick read a Seamless menu.
i don’t think i’ve ever danced that much or jumped that much in my life. the songs were so upbeat and fun that it was impossible to have a bad time. the opening acts Hala and Greer were amazing!! and when The Regrettes came out, they really pulled the whole show together. their songs are so catchy and you can really vibe to it. not only do they have fun songs to dance to, but they have powerful ones about women’s rights and they’re all such badass. i went into the concert expecting it to be fun, but it was much more than that! the band is also really sweet and friendly 🥺
Absolutely pure chaos. Just what I needed. Enter Shikari has always had a special place in my heart 💙. And their fan base is phenomenal. Even tho I feel like they are underrated in the States. We the fan connect, love and respect them so much. The only thing that was bad..... well a little annoying was that one dude that kept crowed surfing. You guys know who I’m talking about loll. The last thing I wanna say is
“AND STILL WE WILL BE HERE, STANDING LIKE STATUES”. :)

The best concert.Julia's stage presence was incredible. The way she interacted with the crowd and danced was unbelievable. She sang to the crowd and the crowd sang to her.She looked like her and her band were having a blast. The way it's supposed to be.I can't wait to see her again. The venue was perfect. And Anna Shoemaker (the opening act)was awesome too. It's almost been a week since the show and I can't stop listening to both these ladies music.

First of all, the opening of the show was so theatrical. The crowd in the bar literally followed the sound of the speakers up to an open venue. It was so cool!!! I had never heard of the opening acts, but after zoning into their lyrics, groovin to their rhythms, and bobbin to their beats, I can say I've added two new great artists to my hip hop collection. As for Jedi Mind..... I've been a fan of them for yeeeeeeeaaaaarrrrs, and never have I ever seen them live. I bought my tickets months ago. I've been looking forward to this show everyday. I was so excited! It was incredible be in the crowd. That crowd was lit!! Everyone was so cool, so laidback, everyone had smiles and was chill with each other. Incredible energy in the entire venue. I will never forget that show. To say it was mind-blowing, would be an understatement.
This was the single best show ever!! Vinnie Paz was amazing. So on point. He sounds just like on his albums. Great vocals. He took the time to say hi to the fans after the show. Super down to earth guy and fantastic performer. He is worth the travel and money. Jedi Mind Tricks is one of a kind and probably the most underrated band of all time. Esotheric was phenomenal as well.
Anne-Marie Is Superb In Concert! I Felt Like We Were In Her Home, And She Just Wanted To Do A Run Through Of Her Concert! Everyone Seemed SobAt Ease, And A Fun Time Was Had By All! She Did Most Of Her Best Songs, And She Is So Genuine, And Hella Funny, And So Real! I Can’t Wait To See Her Again!
