This collective...
It was my second Ritual, first time being so close to the barricade. Everything on this tour is close to perfection. Be prepared for the ocean of emotion.
The best crowd energy ever, a completely improvised "show your cat/pet flashmob" was formed.
The chronological setlist enhanced the feeling of an era coming to a close. Sleep Token always tells us, nothing lasts forever...
Bilmuri as support act is a perfect fit.
Found their concert in 2020 in Zenith Paris better overall. This due too a few things:
- The white strobe spot boxes were irritating my eyes after already 30 min or so.
- Ofcourse the special guest were crazy in Paris… Just a matter of taste.
- It seems a little bit, after Charly Engen joined 5FDP, they were like fired up and eager to perform! Now it was less powerfull, from the heart and synchronised.
Wonderful concert, great artists on the stage, beautiful music. It was a pleasure to listen to this concert. However the acoustic of afas was not the greatest, it sounds like a metal box where sound is multiplied and way too loud. It was painful. Luckily I had earplugs, but people near me were covering their ears with hands. Really bad acoustic unfortunately. For the price that we pay it is not ok to be in pain from noise. Regardless I enjoyed the concert very much.
The driver era was super ondanks een storing ze hebben dat samen met het publiek leuk en goed opgelost ( petje af ) maar niet alleen the driver era was goed maar ook het voorprogramma
Your favourite colour. En almost Monday waren geweldig volgend jaar naar almost monday
Hoop dat ze snel weer terug komen
Aurora, her band and visuals were again, absolutely amazing. I saw her 4 times in Paradiso and now she played in AFAS live. I absolute became so frustrated that only the first +- 40 people could see her. All the people around me including myself were struggling to see a bit of Aurora herself. The ground has no elevation. So when your not one of the very VERY first to enter, you won't see anything of the show. Aurora is my all-time favorite artist. I was very disappointed and sad during and after.
Aurora is such an incredible experience live. This was the first time she played in such a big venue (Afas) in the Netherlands, previously she's only performed in Paradiso. She had a fantastic show, and the venue was used very well, but what's really special about her is when she talks to and engages the audience, it's always so personal and so funny. It really makes each individual show different and I'd totally go to another show in this same tour. If you're at all a fan of her or her music, absolutely go visit a show.
Top 5 concerts I've been to all-time, and I'm blessed to be able to say I've been to quite a few. Had tickets to see them in 2020, covid scuppered that, but seeing a childhood band live in concert for the first time, growing up with Korn and their music...that was priceless. That an old friend joined at the last minute and that we made new friends at AFAS as well, that made it even more special.
The Smile was amazing! It is awesome to see how they recreate their sound on stage. Afas live is also a great venue for it. It has nice acoustics. Too bad the “hospitality” crew was extremely rude at the end of the concert. They literally started hand on pushing people out within two minutes. Everyone was squished into the locker hallways. Needless to say most people were very unhappy with that.
It was a bad end to an amazing concert.
Pretty good concert sure for a synthband as there is not really that much one can do from behind of the keyboard. Great to finally hear all those songs bringing snaps from the past, familiar and instantly recognizable what is not always the case 40 years later. Voice was strong and pretty much one man show, dynamic and animated all the way with mostly rather conservative lights and video background but well thought and very pleasant. One star off for not playing anything from "Dazzle Ships" and that's strictly personal. Very satisfied from the concert, very well organized and easy going venue, will be there next time they come around.
it was pretty cool maybe a little short for the pricing of the ticket but i still enjoyed it and had a great time. the crowd wasn’t dead which was great, we all cheered and sang along and everyone seemed to be having lots of fun. got awesome footage and people around were nice. it was a little hot inside but we could feel a colder breeze from time to time, awesome that they thought about us possibly grilling our asses inside
He's even better life than on recordings. Would've been even better if the stage hadn't had that extension where he was hard to see from several angles on the floor. I'm not very tall and my view was often blocked when he was on there and I had to watch him on the big screens. But in general it was absolutely amazing and I hope to go see another one of his shows in the future.
It was my first ever concert to go to, I went together with my best friend who introduced me to NF 3 to 4 years ago. It was to put it simply amazing. There are no words to describe the feeling it gave us and the feeling we had afterwards. We screamed, cried and felt every emotion that someone could feel. Listening to NF helped our lives go from a bleak life with dull emotions to a life of being ourselves and being able to feel more again. To know we are not alone and to know we're not weird. Ty for this life experience, it was worth it
Excellent show and great performance. Beautiful voice, well-crafted songs, powerful delivery. Good vibes between the band members. Visible pleasure and interaction with the crowd. Really pleased with the setlist including some new and upcoming releases; good balance of ballads and up-tempo songs, hits and new material. Sound at moments too loud and distorted, but overall very well-mixed. Good light-show. Very well executed. What perhaps impressed most was the personal and honest performance: Hozier doesn't seem to be on auto-pilot, with room for on-stage interaction and proper attention to all the crew working with the band to make the magic happen. About 6000 people in the audience were audibly impressed and entertained.
Support act (Victoria Canal) very nice as warming-up. Great voice, fun interaction with the crowd, also visible pleasure on stage. Great performance. Nice extra: a duet with Andrew mid-gig performing "Swan Song". Good combo of support and main act.
Show was stopped 3 times for aid to people in the audience needing medical attention. Hozier responded quickly and warmly asking the crowd to give space and be patient. It took away a little bit of the magic flow, but the band's response and professional pick-up made up for it.
Fun moment: Andrew picked the wrong guitar and started off a song only to realize pitch would be too high. Band continued with crowd support while Andrew and stage crew got it sorted.
the days before the concert + june 20th 2023 there was so much police and all in my block that even if I had a ticket I woeld not arrive at the concert anyway. In the town where I live the gouvernment-party's (a.o police) are obsessed by the cowboys from hell song,so I never arrived at the concert.THey want to be the cowboys from hell, while all they are is idiots/psychopaths (police a.o).THanks for the invitation to your concert though.
Also it's abvious there a people in this town who are paranoid about the date Dimebag was killed, that is a sure thing. For them all they think/talk about is the december 8th killings in Surinam (1982).
Now that I saw parts of the concert you gave me at least 1 thing I will create on a cubic (dedicated to your band),maybe in the future I will arrive on time at your concert.
Was so much fun, loved it very much. Nice people there! But only was really disappointed about one really tall couple that stood infront of us, we couldn't see anything because of them and they only knew mary on a cross, so was a bit disappointed about that but there's nothing you can do about it.
Geweldig, ontroerend
in a new generation of Irish artists
Such a great show!
The sound, and visuals in the background it was all a very special experience.
Seeing Keshi live never disappoints, he's that one artist we know will deliver during his shows and he did.
See you again very soon, Keshi.
♡
(The venue was at an easy location and the staff were super helpful but it was very confusing which queue was for the golden circle, I wish they added that information in the email.)
Freaking loved the show. I loved the opening act and keshi was amazingggg!! I think that the venue is way better than last year! Easy with transportation and also going back home made me feel safer than last year. Since the venue is bigger, i could easily walk to find lockers etc. Last year was way too crowded so I’m happy with this one! For next time maybe some barricades outside the venue with a clear sign which entrance it is since the queue was so long, it was hard to see which queue was for golden circle or not.
It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had, this is my first concert but I loved it so much. Keshi is really passionate about his music and you can really tell! He played guitar and even had a guest (rei brown) with him in tour. Keshi is honestly such an amazing and warm-hearted person. I am so touched by his music and he inspires me a lot and seeing him live perform was incredible, his voice, the vocals, guitar and not to mention the performance is really an unforgettable experience! I will be going to his next show whenever he’s coming back <3
Great show! The Band kicked off this European tour and they were on fire!!! They were happy to be back on stage and it showed. Great set list too going through their long time career and picking songs from their latest albums as well as their old stuff !!! The medley was fucking nuts and the drum off between Ray and Fever 333´s drummer was a total blast!!! I can’t wait to see them again in Graspop 2022
