Fear Factory, Gates of hell, orbit culture were fucking kick ass. We went towards the stage to get my the gate b4 Machine Head came on. Well needless to say as soon they start playing n we weren’t up front yet, the crowd got nuts. Me n my fiancé got trampled n someone stepped on his boot n it caused him to fall. I was trying to stop from him getting kicked but someone pulled me up n surfed me to the front n they took me back. Then here comes my fiancé bleeding from both sides of his head. I really think people should pay more attention to what’s going on.
Staff were great service to his injuries. They didn’t want him back in so we left. I guess the Machine Head pit is really violent. lol
It was everything we expected and more. The energy level in the theater was electric and the performers were the ones generating the great vibes. The only issue I had with the evening was the fact that Scott Bradlee wasn't there. And that's not a negative comment about the pianist who replaced him cause he was great as well.
This show was my first show at The Warfield. I want to say so much, but am also speechless! Seeing G Jones in a space as intimate as The Warfield will forever live in my top 3. I can't say enough great things about everything, from his performance, to the visuals and lighting, all the way to the kind staff. No complaints here (except for the smelly/dirty bathrooms, but that is a very minor complaint).
Thank you, G Jones! Pease come back soon, or come to San Jose!! We love you here <3
The concert was FUN and the upgraded lighting effects were hella sick!!! Looked like slow-motion flying embers.
Really enjoyed my 10th Polyphia concert!
The only reason for the mid-rating was the venue.
The Warfield was HOT HOT HOT!!! ZERO AIRFLOW.
You would think that the amount of money generated at this venue, that they would consider turning on the air conditioner or something.
It was hot as balls! I showered before the show, and I had to shower again when I got home. Incredibly uncomfortable and sweaty.
Wish Polyphia would perform again at The Cornerstone in Berkeley instead where it's cleaner, safer, and cooler. Almost all the venues in SF are riddled with human feces on the sidewalks, including dirty needles, and homeless/shady people lurking around.
Don't entertain dirty venues where the staff/owners don't care about the well-being of performers or fans
Also, Domi and JD Beck were okay as a whole. Domi was amazing at the piano. Very very talented girl. JD was okay. His playing was kinda disorganized and random. Overall, their music sounded like Charlie Brown music on steroids. Not my taste in music AT ALL.
Phenomenal energy as always from Beartooth! Their set for the show was on point, had older hits as well as tracks from their newer albums to display how they’ve progressed over the years. Was pleasantly surprised at how well the openers Archetypes Collide and Malevolence performed, hadn’t heard of them before but they had great stage presence. Hadn’t heard of Trivium before the show either but enjoyed their set and their interactions with the crowd, stage props were cool as well. Venue staff was friendly, bar prices were outrageous per usual, $18 for a Modelo is crazy lol.
I was a little salty they didn’t let us go up past the back area. There were way less people in attendance than the Warlord Leather Tour with Earl, Alc, Action Bronson and Boldy James. 30 mins in I realized that the ticket didn’t mention a clause about our eardrums being compensated for blowing so I enjoyed my ears caving in where I was at.

WOW!!! Magdalena Bay rocked The Warfield with the BEST synth pop in the Universe! Opening with the title track of their awesome Mercurial World album, they moved seamlessly through a set that displayed their musical diversity AND joy of performing. Their music, energy, totality of their souls immersed in sharing their music with the audience is outstanding- and never flags? After seeing them headline their own show and open for artists such as Caroline Polacheck, Flume and others, their music stands out and their performances are always FUN and professional. Nick, their onstage drummer provides a solid percussive backdrop!
Do not miss them if they come to you town- they are a no miss great musical evening!!

Sabrina Carpenter was excellent. She worked the stage brilliantly, really connected with the audience, was superb vocally, and came across as very sincere yet still larger than life. She has come a very long way from her Disney days. The venue was also great overall, but the clarity of the sound system from the balcony is a bit lacking.
In Flames puts on a phenomenal show- the crowd was pretty lame before they came on & Anders got them going from 0 to 10 in no time. He got a circle pit to open up every song, the energy was insane! Not only that but they sound incredible. I'd love to see them at this venue again, but as a headliner!! Love these guys!
This concert was incredible. I wouldn't call it a concert. More, an ancient, universal ritual, powered by music. I don't know how to put words to it. If you like their music, or anything like it, seeing them live is a must. Don't let the opportunity pass. The drums pounding through me, the ritual chanting, the power of their voices, the seriousness with which they performed, the communal prayer, the crowd yelling at the top of their lungs, primal screams. These memories will stick with me for the rest of my life.
Thank you, Heilung, for keeping me grounded to my humanity. For keeping me connected to the earth and the one who was before, and to all other beings.
Amazing. Much different than I expected. Their live sound is different from their recordings, still there’s the eccentric shaping, textures, delicate intros and drones. But then later on to about 2 tons of bricks and bass bins stacked to the ceiling. It was elephantine; heavy thunderous hypnotic. I so regret not having discovered these dudes earlier. Maybe will see them or parts of them in other forms in the future but for now this is it. Apparently they’re breaking up after this tour and this is their last tour.
INCREDIBLE!! Chase Atlantic is my absolute favorite band and they never disappoint!! They kept the energy level high throughout the show and played and sang so so well :)) my friends and I were SO glad we were able to make the show as we’ve been wanting to for so long. DEF seeing them again when they come back to my area !!
There were some things that didn’t go very smoothly. The VIP happened around 5:30 instead of 4, the shipment of the extras that come with VIP did not come in on time, and their other opener Xavier Mayne could not be there due to visa issues. Plus later on Leah Kate, one of their openers had tech issues while performing. Once everything was figured out, honestly one of the best experiences ever. I love the production, the vocals, and obviously the band. I’m a bit biased because I love them but I’d 100% recommend this even with the issues to just about anyone. Plus they fixed the issue of the VIP extras; they are mailing them to peoples addresses :) Overall, 5 stars cuz I love them and it was amazing! 😂
Concert was good. Nightwish earns 5 stars. The venue earns negative five stars. I hate the Warfield. Worst customer service at a venue I've ever experienced. They tried taking my car keys because they wanted my pepper spray. The security acts like we're criminals and it sucks. I prefer not to be at the venue but the band is worth it. Nightwish is always top notch performers! Floor's voice is otherworldly and the band themselves are A list musicians. I loved the set list and the way they got the crowd moving. Great night other than the venue being ridiculous.
Great show, they were really high energy. I'm not super familiar with their newer stuff, and I was glad to see that they had a good mix of the new stuff and the old fan favorites. Some bands cut out a lot of the screaming when they're on tour (makes sense, it must be hard on their voice) but these guys delivered. Highly recommend checking them out if you are thinking about it.
It was an amazing show. Over the top. The band was awesome, they were prompt, they played the most amazing setlist with plenty of new songs from there recently released 4th album and a great selection of songs from there catalog plus 2 covers. The high energy showed never slowed down from the first song Driving Rain thru the encore Anastasia.. The Warfield was so cool and accommodating. The only discomfort was the price of alcohol. Completely ludicrous to charge $20 for a 12 oz beer or $70 for 2 whiskey drinks. Overall top notch. Definitely see this tour if possible.
It was the best show in my life and I’ve been to many. Here is why. The music in conjunction with video and light is delivered in a form of a story with its ups and downs. The closest analogy that came to my mind was like watching Interstellar. It was intense, dramatic, then sad, and then back intense. I was wowed multiple times during the show as I never did before. Jon’s music acquired a new meaning that night.
such a fun and moving show. what a great tribute to Gloria. everyone did absolutely incredible including the two groups who played before JGB came on. it was also awesome to hear Stu Allen join in and put some of his talent out there. one of the best shows i’ve ever been to, for sure. not only was the music amazing but the historical venue was really neat. truly could not have asked for a better night!
Jorja Smith is a new aged Billie Holiday with a twist of Sade. She was classy and sexy with her performance. My highlight was definitely when she dropped kinda low while singing “The One”. The band was awesome and the background set the mood. The staff at The Warfield were good too, they helped the night go well. I would recommend anyone to see a show especially if you want to hear good music and just vibe. I also met a couple music goers who were so nice, good vibes the entire night.
