Roundhouse

Amazing night of music with Gary and his band revisiting his first two albums and a few popular classics for the encores. He was on top form, working the crowd up into a chant for Are friends electric? And synchronised arm waving was the highlight of Down in the park. The light show was the unofficial support act with a spectacular display for one night only. All said and done, a top night from a performer that pioneered electronic music and influenced many artists. Still going strong in his sixties and giving value for money.

Absolutely incredible, the band, driven by Eric and Stephen with Dave’s magical guitar notes screaming emotionally through all the classics. Perry using his voice as a harmonious instrument had the audience in the palm of his hand. Jane’s Addiction were clearly enjoying themselves and gave it their all and the crowd responded accordingly! What a night, come back soon boys!

Superb show. All top rate musicians creating magic together. Joe Armon-Jones always makes a special chemistry with his playing and the people he draws around him. The gig produced some spell-binding harp that created thick textures around glistening piano runs. Big on atmosphere with Hak Baker, Nubya Garcia, James Mollison and others all contributing their hallmark sounds. Top rate evening.

Came to this show for Crooked Royals(support) and they were incredible! I feel honoured to have seen them on this tour (their first in Europe). I've never taken an active interest in periphery but their show was really amazing, despite the singer struggling with illness, they still put on an incredible last show of the tour. I adore this venue.

Classic riffs, bombastic drums, virtuoso solos and heart-stopping vocals - The Darkness deliver it all in their inimitable cat-suited, silk pyjama-ed, Thin Lizzy t-shirt and black denim jacketed style. This last night of the tour had the requisite party atmosphere. In addition to all the hits and antics, we were treated to, amongst other things; a church choir, a sarcastic electronic dance version of IBIATCL, snippets of Radiohead, Led Zeppelin and Queen, momentary concern for a prone fan which turned out to be a marriage proposal during Love is Only a Feeling, and a David Brent impersonator. Most of us in the crowd were past the first flush of our youth, but for a couple of hours we forgot this and bounced like it was 2003. What more can you want for your money? Ed Sheeran? Well if you came on 9th Dec you got him too.

Phenomenal!!! The best live band I've ever seen (and I've seen some amazing big acts in my time). Justin's voice is just perfect and the guitar playing from Justin, Frankie, Dan and Rufus was hard, glorious and rocked us to the core!! I woke up the next morning with my long lost mo-jo!! I was finally raring to go after 5 yrs of being low. Absolutely recommend seeing The Darkness live ❤️ thank you guys ❤️ xxx

Good gig up until the encore. Probably the worst encore me and friends have ever seen (we discussed this afterwards). Love The Darkness but this show just felt a bit flat unfortunately. They could have raised the energy by going a few tracks back to back for example. The U2 With or Without You cover was good until Justin stopped it and semi-cussed U2, which was weird. Just a bit mediocre overall and maybe it was just an end of tour thing.

Well worth seeing this band who mix traditional Irish folk with their own material. The delivery is stunningly dark and emotive with some humorous twists . 11 songs on the set list, including a pogues cover, songs from their last 2 albums and their first one. Each song was a mini epic, except for the spine tingling “Go Dig My Grave” which is epic on steroids.

As expected, the show was exciting, great musicianship in an amazing venue (the Roundhouse)! It was really a big moment for me, as I was looking forward to seeing (and hearing) Alex Hargreaves and he did not disappoint. It was crazy crowded and sweltering on the floor (I know, what did I expect) and I had a 'moment' shall we say where I kinda blacked out, right at the start of Mire, but , as I told the paramedic I was fine and really needed to hear this song , so they gave me some water and and I only missed the opening bars.... Wonderful night!!

Burna Boy...is absolutely sensational. The African Giant never disappoints. This show was incredible. It was beautiful to celebrate his success - no1 album in the UK & to celebrate with true fans. Mixing all the songs on the " I told them" album with some classics was done with the true style & passion of the best performer right now in the world. OLUWA BURNA THE ODOGHU was lit. Best show the Roundhouse has seen. Such an amazing vibe from start to end. Couldn't sleep because this concert was such a high.

I first saw Dean at Kygo’s oslo concert last year , since then I’ve seen him 3 more times in every concert he give s💯 per cent of himself he is so talented he smiles all the time and chats to the audience he is constantly thanking the audience he is simply a joy to watch and listen too and is so humble the atmosphere is so electric and you can feel the energy so that by the end it’s a celebration party people were so charged that even after he’d gone they didn’t want to go and stood around dancing to the music coming across the speakers . The roundhouse is a fab venue very intimate my only gripe is the huge poles block ing some of the stage if you sit in the balconies Love this man Pixie

Raye told her story. Her 21st century blues. It’s was an amazing display of songwriting portrayed with soul, funk, jazz, dance and disco, not just blues. Don’t pigeon hole Raye with a genre, she offers much more. Those that watched this show are witnesses to something special that mixes generations and identities, and gives us all a glimpse at what an inclusive future could hold.

Fabulous evening - Roundhouse is such a good venue! We had standing tickets and managed to stay at the front for the whole show. Support Horsemeat disco were great (as were the fun dance troop. Sister Sledge were their usual fabulous selves, lots of glitz and music to boogie to. Fabulous- only let down was queues for the bars!

I was interested to see if she could deliver live what she does recorded. Really, really good high energy performance. Which was good for us as we had just come from a 21hr flight and were having trouble staying awake. Hilariously, the guys in front of us decided that we were her parents and couldn't thank us enough. Anyway, a definite see again down the line. Thank you, T.

Playing to a packed crowd of followers at the Roundhouse must be an exhilarating experience and tonight Inhaler looked like they were having as much fun as the crowd as they played their end of tour gig in Camden. From the opening 'These Are the Days' from the band's forthcoming album the to the crowd pleasers 'It Won't Always Be Like This' and 'Cheer Up Baby' the floor didn't stop moving - there were definitely some tired legs and arms come the morning. New material 'Love Will Get You There' was eagerly devoured while Elijah was joined by 3000 voices shouting along with 'My Honest Face' that closed the night. Inhaler will continue their journey to stadium shows but tonight was a show that will have many will be saying "I was down the front for that one", for years to come.

Brilliant as always! Played the latest album ‘Easter is Cancelled’ in its entirety, which I haven’t yet heard. It is superior. Played plenty of the classics too. Great music and a fuck off great show! So good, I hardly noticed them omitting to play ‘Black Shuck!’ But THIS dog didn’t give a fuck!

Last night was a bit special. My 2nd Heilung event and a definite improvement on the first one (which was good, but they're getting better). The soundstage seemed of better quality than the Islington Assembly Hall venue used last year. The warriors, Maria and especially Kai were a lot more aware of the audience and seemed to want to "bring us in" more. The Warriors had more to do and there was more choreography used. Songs were a mix of the last two albums. You can't go wrong with Krigsgaldr or Hamrer Hyppyer (which is made extra special by the invasion of the audience by the warriors) but the first single from the new album, Norupo, was spectacular - the addition of the female chorus an added bonus. I really need to learn the words... What a night.

I flew from Philadelphia USA. to London to see this concert. It was worth the trip! The venue was comfortable and roomy. The audience was so friendly and Jimmy Cliff was FANTASTIC!!! His band was fabulous as well. Jimmy opened the show with”Bongo Man” then continued singing all his songs . Everyone in the audience was dancing ; SO fun.I really enjoyed this concert, I’m just sad that he isn’t coming to the USA . Jimmy please come to the East coast in the USA ❤️❤️❤️

The band were brilliant but for me the real stars of the show were the staff at the Roundhouse. This was my brother's first gig since requiring a wheelchair and we had no idea what to expect. We were looked after impeccably from the minute we pulled up at the car park through until we left. We will be back 😀
