This was my second time seeing Davy Knowles. What an impressive performer he is. Style, grace. His band was very tight He played a good hour and a half. The guy can play guitar Never miss a chance to see Davy Knowles. Biscuits and Blues is a great venue

I was at the Modesto show last year. Great!!!

We think this is a first *solo* performance by Tommy at a live venue, and he killed it! Treading new ground is always a g****e, but Tommy's honest and relaxed style really came through. He was connecting with the audience, and Biscuits and Blues provides a close up and intimate setting between that audience and performer. His relaxed and informal banter with the audience really became a big part of his performance. At one point he had the audience doing a *call and response* with him on a song. Fun and engaging! At top level, he gave the audience a nice walk through the history of blues, guitar styles, and artists, and displayed a variety of picking styles: slide, Piedmont style 2 finger picking, and standard electric guitar picking. He played on all 5 guitars he brought with him! His choice of songs was engaging, and his special guest, Bay Area artist Barry Walter on harp for a few songs, was a very nice addition! He used a variety of guitars, from acoustic, to resonator, to electric. The capper was a duet with his son, Jackson Castro, on the Rolling Stones hit - You Can't Always Get What you Want. A great song shared between father and son, and it really spoke to a private part of Tommy we would not see in his normal Painkiller band setting. He traded verses with Jackson, and both of them genuinely looked like they enjoyed their father-son moment. We look forward to seeing more of *solo* Tommy, and we will be there. Highly recommended!

This band is awesome! Fantastic energy and amazing guitar performance from Dennis Jones. A great trio I hope to see again many times!

I've been going to PT shows for 15 years. Love every show but this was one my favs. New material and favs from the back catalog. Pat was in great form as always and Dave P on bass was so tight and blew me away. And it takes a great drummer to pull off a an amazing rhythm section. I wish the band would come around more often. Looking forward to the next show.

Coming back to the recently reopened Biscuit & Blues after 5 years was like coming home. We loaded up a 12 person Van and drove from Sacramento to SF to see the show with Sugaray Rayford! I will go see Sugaray any and every time I can. This man and his entire band is sensational, and if this band doesn't make you want to move and groove, well, nothing can. Fabulous venue (Biscuit & Blues, SF - thank you Steven Yuen), fabulous music, fabulous fun! Thank you Sugaray Rayford and your band for a great night of music. I'll be baaaack...
