Charleston Music Hall

Dregs and Steve Morse Band were both in great form (they always are) in a wonderful venue. The words "not a bad seat in the house" are very much accurate re this modest sized (965 seats) hall, which feels even more intimate than the capacity would suggest. Great staff, easy access, very convenient parking and other features made our first show at Charleston Music Hall well worth the three and a half hour drive. We'll definitely go back, though I can't imagine any acts that could provide the instrumental virtuosity of these performers. I've been going to Dixie Dregs concerts since 1977 and they are consistently masterful musicians - this was as fine a show as I've ever seen. I just hope this tour is sufficiently satisfying for the musicians to lead them to do it again before long. Their last tour was in 2018, so it would be great if they are ready to hit the road another time without waiting six years. Thank you, gentlemen, for many years of magical experiences in your fusion of jazz, classical, country/bluegrass, funk and, above all, ass-kicking rock.

I have been seeing Pat in concert every chance I get since 1981. He just gets better and better! This show was so unlike other in all of the best ways- no less than 6 standing ovations form a completely captivated crowd.

This was my third time seeing the Struts and the second time at CMH. I swear they get better each time! What great musicians and entertainers. Luke gives 100+% at every show. As for CMH…one of my favorite venues ever…not a bad seat in the house!

The historic, Adamesque style of the Charleston Music Hall was the perfect venue to enjoy the swing vibe created by an engaging evening spent with the music and performance presented by BIG BAD VOODOO DADDY! Southern California's Big Bad Voodoo Daddy shared their old-school swing-and-jump blues music and songs, all the while participating in on-point choreography. Of course, "Go Daddy-O", and "You & Me & the Bottle Makes 3 Tonight were part of the night. Happy 30th anniversary Big Bad Voodoo Daddy!

Enjoyed everybody except Aaron Lee, he was a joke! He kept walking off the stage and when on stage kept turning his back on the audience. He’s got a good bass voice BUT not good enough to be so arrogant. Enjoyed Jeff Parker being with the guys again and can’t wait for you guys to be back on RFD TV. Keep us informed!

This is my fourth visit to Charleston Music Hall to see the incredible Indigo Girls in concert. I travel from Texas for this show every time it's offered as I find the venue and its staff to be top notch in friendliness and service. The venue itself has excellent acoustics, too. Indigo Girls also clearly enjoy playing in the historic city of Charleston, which hosted them many times from 1986 onward. Nothing beats a great venue, great staff and wonderful performers who bring it all together for some soul enriching music! FIVE stars, highly recommended!!

This venue is awesome!! So intimate and just great. I absolutely love the Indigo Girls and will continue to see them again and again. This wasn't my favorite set they have played, but regardless the energy and show was amazing and I will always support them. They are the best and I will return to the Charleston Music Hall as often as I can. Great all around

The Venue was perfect for a night with Boney James doing his thing. He put on an Outstanding Concert. This was our third time seeing him in Concert, and I must say, this was one for the ages. The Band he assembled was second to none. One of the smoothest sax players of our time. A great way to Celebrate the Thanksgiving Weekend.

With no opening band this was pure Gov't Mule and they played for almost a full 3 hours. It was a nonstop jam session. I was hoping for a few more covers for I love their versions of some classic Little Feat songs as well as 21st Century Schizoid Man but it was a fantastic show just the same. And I love the venue. I will be seeing them again.

This was my 4th time seeing Andy Grammer in concert, and it was just as fun, energetic, positive and uplifting as the other 3 times. The messages in his songs are SO good, and my friends and I brought our tween kids with us for the first time. To be able to dance with them and sing our hearts out to positive lyrics about loving yourself, knowing what matters, and JOY was amazing. You really can't explain how fantastic an Andy Grammer concert is, but once you go, you'll be a fan forever.

I have been to a lot of Amy Grant concerts in my lifetime but I must say, this one was one of the best! The song choic3s, the flow, the stories...all perfect. And her voice was strong and beautiful as always. She is such a unique soul. It is always a blessing to be in the room with her. She is an inspiration to all.

The show was good. I wanted to enjoy it more, but there were some super rude obnoxious Karens there. Halfway through the show there was a drunk woman who was wailing so loud that you could hear her over the music. Security eventually escorted her out. Overall, they put on a good show, and I enjoyed the mini orchestra accompaniment.

Beth Hart put every bit of her overwhelming talent into this show. She moves like an energetic 25 year old, doing what she does best. We flew from Chicago just to see this show, as for some inexplicable reason, she’s skipping the Windy City this tour!

Amazing show! Colin makes you laugh out loud with his many stories and delivers old and new tunes to keep everyone entertained. His takes on the Men at Work songs are really good and refreshed and his new material displays an unexpected singer/songwriter talent. Well well worth it!

Their performances were outstandingly off the chain and wonderfully executed …..1st class ALL THE WAY !!!!!! Both Kandace Springs & Etienne Charles are TOP SHELF ACTS. They both delivered really great shows! My husband & I had a stupendous evening….can’t wait to catch them AGAIN.

I'm sure it was quite good but given that I'm 70 years old, concerned about the next potential surge and a bit wary of my fellow revelers, I elected to skip the concert. I'd seen Ms. O'Donovan the last time she was at the Music Hall and certainly hope she'll come back in the near future. At that time we'll try again. Unfortunately, this is not the first ticket that I forfeited, choosing prudence over attendance. See you after the pandemic.

I was there. Plenty of notifications about covid testing prior. When I purchased ticket I was told, when I verified my tickets I was told. I brought my own test kit and did it in front of the staff. No issue. Aaron Lewis did not disappoint, Great performer.

All ages and backgrounds were on their feet throughout the show. It was a great time. Not now, but later down the line, Yola should definitely consider making a live album version of some of her songs. This was definitely worth the months of waiting. It's says a lot when u leave a performance as an even bigger fan than when u came. If I could, i'd go to this show multiple times. If u have tickets, get ready for a FANTASTIC show!!!!!

Aaron Lewis is phenomenal. The venue on the other hand was a disaster. There was no warning of needing a negative covid test or vaccination card. Upon arrival it was chaos. They sent us down the street for a covid test. EVERYONE who bought the tests with us read positive. EVERYONE!!!! After about the 10th person the venue saw the fault in the test and then provided us with new ones. And they were all negative. We spent over an hour just trying to get in the door. There is also a clear bag policy that was not posted at the time of ticket sales. This entailed them taking my purse and putting it in their $5 clear bag 🤦🏽‍♀️. Read. Not the contents. THE WHOLE PURSE! Aaron Lewis. Awesome. Stand up guy. Will definitely see again. Charleston music hall. NO. NADA. NEVER AGAIN. I also found out they bought and own Music Farm. I used to love that venue. But that’s a no too.

My first thought was to say that it was a great show, but I don't feel that India.Arie was putting on a show, an act or even had the intention to entertain. I feel and believe that her ultimate purpose was to feed, pour into and uplift. In return, I loved on her and poured back into her even if she didn't physically see me. As far as I'm concerned, she accomplished what she set out to do, because I walked away a little stronger and feeling #worthy. India.Arie, thank you for all that you give.
