I really enjoyed when Billy came out to perform "They Call Me The Breeze" with them. The band was good, but as the last one to perform, I was expecting them to play more big-time hits to build up the crowd. Instead, they started off with some lesser-known and slower songs, followed by a tribute, which was wonderful, but overall caused the crowd to lose energy. I think simply changing the order of the tracks would have kept the crowd more engaged.
This was my family’s 4th Dragons’ concert. They are our favorite band. Imagine Dragons were fantastic, but the opening act was incredibly boring. There was zero music playing between sets, i.e. no DJ. It’s a Thursday August evening, the kids are in school, working parents are a bit exhausted, and ticket prices are a little high. Please make the entire concert enjoyable.
I saw Styx last year, and this year's show was an abbreviated version with a rougher transitions and less storytelling and energy. It suffered by comparison with Foreigner. They probably should not play such an intense touring schedule. Still love the band. They should also consider broadening the play lists. Everyone who now attends a Styx show loves the more obscure stuff, we have listed since the 70s and 80s. Play Castle Walls, Crystal Ball, Ballerina, and Haven't We Been Here Before. The crowd would love it. Really enjoyed JY singing Miss America.
As always they were totally bad ass!! Non stop music and performance. Kelly and company were all over the stage and sounded incredible!! The music of Foreigner will live on forever!! I only wish that Mick Jones was able to play at least a couple of songs but i totally understand why he didn't. Hopefully these guys will never stop touring after their much deserved and long overdue induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!!!
For the short amount of time he was allowed to perform he put on an excellent show!! He sounded just as great as he always did and quite honestly he outperformed Styx by a landslide. John Waite needs a tour as a full opening act or his own tour period. His band was amazing and John's vocals sound exactly like they did back in the beginning.
Incredible show- tons of energy but also full of 90s nostalgia!! Memories of “real” MTV music and world premier videos days of my youth nostalgia! Chad has such a down to earth and infectious personality! I want to see them every summer on a Sat. Night as he so observantly promised for hopefully next year in VA!!
The workers were incredibly helpful and friendly, one of the best experiences I've had with venue employees.
Very happy that the venue was so sustainable and encouraged recycling, etc. It was also very clean and it was helpful that there was many stations for merchandise and food.
You could see the love and care the crew put into making the show's sound and visuals stunning. It was a beautiful show.
Amon Amarth and Ghost were nothing short of perfection. Ghost had this exciting energy that had me literally jumping up and down! I love how interactive Papa and the Ghouls were with the fans, both fans in the pit and those way out towards the lawn seating. The visuals aligned brilliantly with the songs they perform; at times I forgot I was at a concert venue and not a cathedral! The instruments and singing were hauntingly divine, as the audio quality was amazing and Ghost never fails to preform beautifully. It felt very original of Ghost and I never wanted the show to end. I also enjoyed the Papa Nihil's saxophone solo, the fun guitar-off between two of the Ghouls, and Papa's outfits. This was my first Ritual, my first Ghost concert and I can't to go see them again.
So much love to the workers, crew, Amon Amarth, and Ghost!
both bands we're fantastic but the venue was very unwelcoming and wasn't disability friendly. myself and my guest both need frequent rests when walking and had a very hard time finding any which made the experience worrisome. the seating was also extremely uncomfortable and no one in our row was able to sit for extended periods of time without getting up to relive the armrests digging into our hips.
Dierks and other artists were great! I still find it annoying when no one is standing, except for some rude people who insist on blocking the view of the stage. I paid a lot to sit closer this time only to yet again have my view blocked for a majority of the show. I understand everyone wants to have a good time but be fair to others. If a person wanted to stand they could have in the general admission section! The venue needs to police this more effectively. VIP areas should not be standing areas. And the parking...well we all know the parking is absolutely ridiculous for a venue so popular and this size.
Godsmack rocked this show!! Thank goodness because Aaron Lewis unfortunately made Staind look bad. Most of the time he was either leaning on the mic stand or he was leaning on the stage in front of the drums. At one point, I thought he was going to fall over. Very disappointing. But Godsmack rocked it! This was the second time I have seen Godsmack in concert and both times they kicked ass!!
My star rating for Fall Out Boy's performance is a solid 5/5. They use several interactive sets and props and add an improv element to the show so every performance on the tour is different from the last. Pyrotechnics are a little loud in the front rows but the visuals are well worth it if you can take the sound. Great energy from the openers to the headliner. Congrats to FOB for 20 years strong!
HOWEVER my star rating for the venue is 1.5.
Decent enough sound quality and visuals but I really wish they had better set up for merch/bathroom/venue lines because they always get so tangled up and messy. I showed up two hours early and still didn't have time to grab merch. Parking at this venue is a nightmare if you're local and absolutely abysmal for anyone who traveled long distance. If the concert ends at 10PM (because they have a hard curfew that makes it so the performers can't come out for an encore which cuts their set list down and that's inconsiderate.) expect to leave the parking lot at midnight or later. The structure of the venue is fine but the crowd management and parking management was horrific.
We had VIP access for parking, entry and the VIP Club/Lounge area...definitely the way to go!
All the staff was amazing and the SHOW was incredible.
Would prefer that there was no General Admission "pit" so that those of us thst paid for premium seats were closer to the artist...ie the Tim McGraw concert seating in 2022...that was ideal. **Except that the stage was so high...I actually stood on the edge of my folded seat so that I could level with thr stage...THAT was amazing!
Thank you for a clean venue too!
Kehlani will Forever be my fave artist. This is my 2nd time seeing her live. She kills it every time . She is so meant to be on stage and be an artist/entertainer. I just love her energy. I had so much fun and I got my entire life. Can’t wait until Kehlani comes back and blesses the dmv once again with her presence !!! (;
Wonderful concert!!
Luke seemed happy because he was celebrating his birthday with us even though his birthday was on 7/17/2022.
The songs that he sang were perfect. 6 of us went we just had a wonderful time. He was a doll when he sang to that 85 year grandma. That was truly beautiful and very sweet of him to serenade to her.
Thank you Luke Bryan for a wonderful show.
It was just so hot don’t understand why the venue would not turn the fans up people were fainting😟
The show was great like always Luke never lets us down… Riley‘s show was awesome.. only problem was they double parked everybody so if you were back in you still couldn’t get out because there was a car right in front of your face and you sit there until those drivers came 2 1/2 hours to get out the parking lot that was crazy
The show was awesome as always with these two guys. Seemed as though Kix's sang more in this show than some of the other shows that we have been to in past years. Me and my wife Sandy love these guys. We go to all the shows in the Baltimore and D C area. Went to see them for our anniversary one year in Vegas. Hope to be able to make the one in Nashville this year. Our anniversary is June 29th and my wife who turned 75 this past year and she really wants to see Nashville and go to Memphis to see Elvis's home. If you get the chance to see these guys, you won't regret it.
AMAZING CONCERT!!!! 😀
I seen ALL 3 perform for the FIRST TIME and was WAITING FOREVER to see them!! I GREW UP listening to TLC & Nelly in Middle School and in High School, I started listening to Flo Rida also, when he came out a few years ago!!! HOPEFULLY ALL 3 can RETURN back to JLL in the NEAR FUTURE!!!!
😀❤️👍🏻
I really enjoyed this one. The venue is a bit smaller then the places they usually play so the show was a bit more intimate. I was in the Pit right at the gate where the band entered the stage area and also used by Win and Regine to come onto the crowd and sing songs like Sprawl and We don't deserve love. I got to pat Win on his back, and give Regine a high five. It was kinda of funny to see myself on the jumbotron. The band played two of my favorite songs, Suburban War and Roccoco. I have not heard them play Suburban War so this really made the show extremely special to me. Also Will fell down and sprained his ankle but kept on playing his drum. The ticket prices are well worth it. They are truly great!
I have pics and video but for some reason it's only letting me post one photo.
Amazing! Their voices are AMAZING! Matt is a great addition to the group! And their stamina to keep up their energy and give it their all for an hour or more is incredible. There were a few songs I would have wanted to hear and an interlude I didn’t personally care for, but mostly they sang awesome songs and they were fantastic!
I wish it would have been a little longer so he could perform more of his old songs but it was AMAZING, he put on a great performance. Chris danced the whole time and he had an awesome stage setup. I enjoyed it and I was turning up when wall to wall cake on because that is my jammmm!!!
