The concert was marvelous 🎵🎸🎵
They engaged with audience and as always the were great. I had hoped they would perform one of the new songs from the Ressurection album but the encore was lovely. And considering the death of their Father less than a month ago, they were great. Speakers too loud on several songs thus could not discern the lyrics ...... But I LOVE LLB !!!!!
The band put on one helluva a great show! They are each genuinely kind hearted, have great sense of humors and are down to earth. Several of the members remembered meeting my friend and his name from hanging out with him last year at another show. They meet thousands of people every year so there's no way one would expect them to remember somebody they met at a show last week, let alone over a year ago. I felt honored that Big Dad Rich allowed me to give him a hug and he hugged me right back instead of just standing there. The Meet and Greet and the prayer circle was wonderful. BDR spoke directly from his heart, nothing was rehearsed or memorized. I could feel God was using him as a vessel and talked to us through him. I am so happy to see their dreams and wishes are being answered. I would love nothing more than to see them playing to sold out arenas.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 It's past time for the world of rock music to recognize them as the stars they truly are!
I'm also sending out heartfelt thank yous to the staff of Tally Ho. They too helped me and ensured that I was having a great time and was protected. Though it's hard to get a break from my wheelchair, it's even harder to get what I call "paroled" from my house. They didn't treat me like a handicapped person, they saw past that damn chair and saw me as a person. Covid and cancer put me in that chair. Thank you to Tally Ho staff, THC, other event attendees and 1 special woman (who's name I didn't get) who ensured I could see the stage from where I was sitting by making other people move out of the way; each of you helped me escape my reality and fully enjoy the entire event and getting my face rocked off for the night!!! Much love to all!! Dana Siko
I might be biased because they are one of my favorite bands but as always they put on a great show. Good song selections with a mix of new and old material and good audience involvement and as much of this new the lyrics to miss the songs.
I could not believe how amazing this show was. Vernon has not lost a step on guitar after all these years. The entire experience blew my mind. I caught them in a small club in 2024 where I managed to be in the front row. I don't know how well it translates to bigger venues, but I imagine it would still be worth it.
The Jackyl show was full of high energy! Jackyl took the fans through a nice time line of their 30 year musical journey. Jesse engaged the fans through out the show. It was a great LIVE show for Jackyl and really look forward to seeing them on the road. Thank you Jackyl for bring the live music to Tally Ho Theater.
Buckcherry was full of energy and emotion for this show. Josh was outstanding on lead vocals! The band took the fans through a nice time line of music. It was great to hear the NEW music from VOL. 10 LIVE! The guys even took some time to engage with the fans. Thanks for a GREAT show, Josh, Stevie, Kelly, Francis and Billy. Look forward to seeing Buckcherry on the road soon.
Winger played a great set with the true live music experience. It was great to hear NEW music from Seven by Winger. The band was full of positive energy. Winger played many of their heavier songs, which showed the music journey from 35 years of growth. Look forward to seeing Winger continue their musical journey on the road.
Seeing Firehouse without CJ Snare on lead vocals was surprising. Nate Peck filling in on lead vocals rocked the house. Nate was outstanding and brings a new revived sound for the future of rock n roll. Wanted to say thank you to Firehouse for recognizing Veterans Day. Bill playing the Star Spangled Banner on the guitar was outstanding. Thank you Firehouse for the awesome LIVE music experience. Hope to see Firehouse on the road again.
It was my first time inside that venue, even though I used to live in Leesburg for like 8 years.
Staff was very friendly.
I thought the bands where great, and specifically went there for Halocene and No Resolve.
They where soo good!! Addie was very nice when I met her by the merch counter.
Hope you guys continue making great music and have a great career!!
Halocene and Hooked Like Helen were fantastic! Been a Halocene fan for a few years. Glad to find a new-to-me band to follow! The Haunt was decent, just not for me. No Resolve would’ve been more enjoyable if they didn’t set their sound system to “outdoor stadium” setting for a mid-sized indoor theater.
Living Colour still sound GREAT. So glad this lineup has stayed together and kept going. Great vibes between the band and the crowd, great playing, and great sound in the venue. Would have given a fifth star if their set had been a little longer. I'd still recommend them and this tour to anyone. One of my all-time favorites. (And, as Doug Wimbish noted during the set, they are a chance to real "live" music.)
Great show! These men are great musicians and performers. Corey's voice and tone are as good as 30 years ago. Vernon on guitar, Doug on bass, and the incredible Will on drums did not disappoint. Only critique is the set was pretty short.
I’ve seen them a few times live however it’s been many moons and this was the first time I had taken my boys!
The venue was very crowded yet intimate & very nice looking. The set list was amazing they sound wonderful live despite some sound issues. Singer said they’ve been playing for 28 years! That’s outstanding in its own right. His vocals are amazing.
The guitarists stage performance was lively and it felt special to be apart of his one year anniversary with the band. (He was also getting food at the same time we were before the show and he was very nice!) the drummers solo couldn’t have been better 👏🏼
Then to end the show with everyone’s favorite Stairway!
I will happily see them each and everytime they’re in the area!
Excellent show by three of the greatest representatives of their respective crafts and getting to see my primary bass idol for the first time was a genuine plus. Only "negative" is the venue is not ideal when sold out if one wants to take a seat versus standing the whole time unless one gets a VIP (upstairs seating) ticket which looking back wished I purchased one. First world problems eh?
Wasn't sure if two musicians instead of the entire band would be any good. Boy, was I wrong. They were great-it sounded like there was more than two people playing. Their singing was spot on and guitar playing filled the venue. Would see them again if they come through Leesburg again.
W.A.S.P. came to Northern Virginia and gave their all at the SOLD OUT Tally Ho Theater show in Leesburg. Blackie Lawless and the rest of the band delivered a solid set of their classics and fan favorites with the energy and enthusiasm that you would hope for and expect. Blackie has the stage presence to command any audience and own the crowd and he did exactly that at the Tally Ho. The whole band sounded great and the show left fans wanting more. Hopefully we'll see another W.A.S.P. tour again in the not so far future.
It was a GREAT SHOW & A Great night until the Drummer had a Medical Emergency on stage that night which was both shocking & sad But I'm glad 2 hear he's gonna OK. UP UNTIL the Encore it was FANTASTIC SHOW. I was LOVING IT.
It's absolutely unfair to rate this show, as it was perfect and beyond any scale. Absolutely killer show. Of course, Michael is a beast player, and his band is super tight and in the pocket. Got to hear a lot of my favorite songs, but an additional 3 hours would still have made this show too short for me. The real star of the show was Ronnie Romero. I have some stuff from him (Sunstorm) that I absolutely love, but this guy is above and beyond his studio stuff. Absolute godlike singer and phenomenal performer, guy was spot on and had some really nice Dio influences coming through. I saw Michael on his last tour with 4 singers, Ronnie destroyed them all.
Red Wanting Blue always delvers with their genuine Midwest rock leaving it all out on stage. Clever lyrics are woven with a mix of styles. RWB always teams up with other unique and talented acts often folding them into their own set. In this case Meaghan Farrell and Jon Tyler Wylie & His Virginia Choir.
Very good venue. The band Station who opened for Kix were very energetic and all their songs were very good. Kix rocked as always and I would pay to see both these bands again. Station was very down to earth and came out after the show and met with the fans was a very nice evening
