Donell Jones was great, sang all his songs all the way through and still has such a smooth voice. However ginuwine was very disappointing, barely singing, only sung a few words or lines here and there. He was mostly performative dancing round the stage, which was a shame, as I would have loved him to sing his songs all the way through. The venue was the worst part, as it's an old concert hall/theatre there is no air con, it was sweltering in there. It's a beautiful building but definitely should not be hosting in concerts in the summer, everyone was sweating and fanning themselves.
Absolutely amazing! My first Twisted/Shpongle/Younger Brother show and definitely won't be my last. The Orb were on fire and, the visuals were mesmerising. Sweet merch, definitely worth the queue. A really friendly atmosphere, and the Troxy is truly an amazing venue full of character, be sure to take in the art deco architecture and the stained glass. If you're ever on the fence about going, just do it, you won't be disappointed! An easy 20 out of 10.
Fantastic concert / a mix of songs from the new album and older ‘classics’. Opened with an amazing version of Gordon in the Willows. A terrific combination of Patrick’s voice with his band all supplemented by amazing lights and lazers. One of the best concerts I’ve seen.
Saying these boys haven’t been to the uk in years.. they put on the best performance ever and Andy such a sweetheart when he stopped the show because he saw a fan had fainted in the crowd and wouldn’t carry on with the show until everyone went to grab some water.
Omg this was such a dream concert and an amazing experience, everyone there was such a vibe too!! The living tombstone were so great at captivating their audience and I just had the best time ever, please come back to the UK!! 💗
I had an amazing time at this concert because this was my first ever live concert, everyone looked amazing with their outfits/cosplay. The band was so cool, I loved their costumes as well, I thank the team of troxy giving everyone a wonderful night and I also want to thank the living tombstone as well for my first ever experience of a live concert and the atmosphere was lively, I can't wait for another UK tour with this I would love to come back again.
it was the BEST night of my life- the music and crowd were great! my only issue was i believe delays meant the opener [the stupendium] felt very short and how the living tombstone cut 3 songs from the lineup [animal, boulder and orphans] which were unfortunately a couple of my favourites as a h******e zero_one and rust fan. BUT i do understand it's more of a venue issue making them cut it over a band issue. the atmosphere was VERY sweet, was my first standing concert and was a bit nervous but most people were absolutely lovely and very sweet. i do recommend coming early if you want to get good standing spots- a couple hours before should be fine!
I went to the Sat 1st of March gig at the Troxy. What an amazing gig and venue. Jack was on fire. He's still as good as he was over 20 years ago. The mix of his new and old songs are so good. I left feeling truly grateful to see one of the greatest guitarists of all time once again. 🔥🔥🔥
Interesting artist supporting Jack White. 70 years old ex Raincoats bassist. 3 women on stage playing bass/bass/bass or guitar/bass/keys plus backing track. Couldn’t work out whether they were badly rehearsed, badly mixed or just bad but they got a great reception nevertheless. Their recorded stuff is worth listening too and they went down a treat with the Jack White crowd.
Pure class act. Perfect mix of solo, white stripes and raconteurs material plus a couple of obscure covers. Every song a belter but would be happy just to see him tuning his guitars.
What a treat! the whole new album, then more. then what i was expecting to be an encore, thnl you and goodnight. But NO, a whole lot more old favourites. Thanks Robert and all, another gret show!
Highly recommended! Very sensual and intelligent mix of music, lyrics and higher vibrations!. Reasonably interactive with audience. Inclusive, kind, grounded yet wise messages conveyed through whole concert! Please keep coming back to London!
It was such a good show, but so loud and bassy I thought my ears would take some damage - I go to gigs a lot & I’ve never felt like that before - and the opener wasn’t my thing
Kes came energized and ready to entertain us all. With many surprise guest artists. The best KTB show I’ve seen so far. To see Shaggy, Voice, Anika made the trip worth every mile.
Great band, excellent show. Unfortunately, the venue sound leaves a lot to be desired.
2nd hig here, and although both bands have been on top form, the sound let's them down.
Toilet facilities are not good enough for a venue of this size.
Anyway, Yard Act were excellent.
Amazing show, bvb were so kind and interactive so were Lilith and Cemetery Sun, definitely a show i would go to again, i hope i can go to more as it was my first and the best first show ever!
Second show from the UK tour that I have been too. And I must say I probably enjoyed it the most! Surprised that I still have a voice after last night's awesome show! 🤘🖤😎 Already prepared for the next UK gig from BVB. 🤘🤘 Also the venue was really great. Way better than I expected it to be. 😎
This guy can do no wrong in my eyes. Phenomenal writer and musician- his shows are very theatrical and inspirational and he was my soundtrack when I visited SK in the summer. Loved the gig enormously- was lucky to see both Troxy gigs sitting in a booth. Great use of lighting - a beautiful, creative set that combined a narrative of sorts. Even though he’s clearly a showman and entertainer, there is something very humble and warm about his character. I desperately wanted a Golden Ticket but they sold out so quickly. And despite being in my forties, I would have likely been a giggling wreck. Well done to all involved and a big thank you.
Absolutely wonderful-the way this guys flits across the stage like a jumping bean is phenomenal. Great songs. Great sets. He’s a total superstar. His little grinds and horizontal back leans caused a ripple through the audience every time. He’s one cool bloke for sure. Been a fan for a while - lucky enough to see both gigs at The Troxy and Manchester tomorrow (traffic permitting!) would happily see him again and again. Wished I’d been lucky enough to get a Golden Ticket :( - but I must say I loved the booths. Well done to all involved! And thank you!
It was my very first concert experience and I am happy it was Jessi's concert. I will wait for her next concert, for when she's back and all healthy. I had a blast nonetheless #YouGotThisJessi
