The New Parish

The venue is a nestled little local tavern feel, very intimate performance as MC Rob wove a tapestry of sights and sounds like only he can. Great venue, really good performance. A good time was had by all.

A real Mc that connects with their heart and spoken word with others in the shared space that elevates the energy in the audience . La Russell creates a unique experience that brings folks closer and feelings of community by making it a fun and inclusive. He brings other talents on stage and curates a special atmosphere. It was an honor to witness and enjoyed the show , thank you!

Loved it. This band is super fun, very entertaining, and the music is a party. I like the venue the new parish also, pretty easy to get to and park at the Fox Theatre parking lot for five dollars, easy to get a drink at the bar, and everyone’s always been very nice

One of the best shows I’ve ever been to. GZA is a machine. Shout out the homie who played chess against him while he performed lmaoo

omg i witnessed a lil piece of heaven last night! i been following this man's career since i was 9 years old he has always been a constant in my playlist & i still remember every lyric of every track on The Adventures of Sick Rick to my mother's utter dismay (both back then and now lol) to finally get to see him live was epic 🤩

Nahko really gave his all. I was brought to tears twice by the beauty of it all. The venue was quaint. ♥️ just the way I like it!

Nahko was outstanding as always! This was the fifth show I've seen and the second solo acoustic show (the first was in Zurich with Trevor Hall and Bobby Alu). Nahko is pretty unique in that he totally owns the stage even while playing solo shows. With his talent and passion, secondary band members aren't always necessary! Also, I hadn't seen Nattali Rize since Blue King Brown at California Roots in like ~2013ish? She was wonderful as well! What a special, intimate night with one of my favorites of all time! Rock on Nahko!

I've seen them 2 of their 3 CA visits and it's the biggest dance party and crowd I've ever been in. They play short sets and won't play California, but still I highly recommend seeing them.

I bloody Enjoyed It whn I saw him live 4 the 1st time & People were jumping around as I don't know what 2 His Songs tht he performed on stage.I found him Bloody Cute & I gave it 5 stars 4 tht because he made my night bloody dope❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ x 😘👆🏾

Another incredible show! I am still happily reliving moments and catch myself grinning thinking about them. I've lost count how many times I have seen these guys over the years (15+ years of going to shows) and this was easily the most fun I've had. The New Parish doesn't do their music justice though. I've been to this venue a number of times to see G&E and Grand Tapestry, and the sound system needs updating. I know what these guys sound like live, and the venue didn't let them shine the way they deserve. Love the layout of The New Parish, location, staff - all great - but PLEASE get some new sound in there.

It was amazing!! Great performances, shout out to Rocky G! So sad Bambu’s retiring, but also so happy for him that he can concentrate on spending time with his family.

Superior. Energetic warm. Her Zambian musical flavor fused with other flavors the best I’ve heard. Worth the wait from a 2 year Covid ticket.

this was the best concert i’ve ever been to in my entire life i’m not even exaggerating. it was so much fun and i didn’t want it to end!! sven and everyone were so nice and fun and i will definitely going again when he comes back to oakland!!!!

This is one of my favorite bands. They are amazing energetic and passionate. can't wait to see them again the next time they're in town.

I love his shows at the new Parish. He has a bunch of local artists open for him, he sounds great live, he takes song requests, and he shows the fans all love. Dope artist, PERIODT!
