Venue Nightclub

I honestly could not get verification that the show was on so did not attend. I am bummed it went ahead after being moved to the Hollywood and then back to the Venue, the club which didn't verify that the show was on. Come on Vancouver, we are better than this.

Amorphis was fantastic of course. But Jan Rechberger didnt show up for the meet and greet. Why? No one knew! Amorphis played a short set in my opinion. Anneke's set was too long, it was like amateur hour - she played 5 (YES 5) cover songs. I would have preferred if she played 3 songs with Amorphis instead, but they only played 1 which was a waste. But it felt like Amorphis didnt get to play their best songs from any album. So it wasnt as good as their last show in 2016. I cant comment on Delain, im not a fan. Also here is some advice on death growling from Tomi Joutsen himself: "you either got it or you dont". 😁 so stop trying, youll wreck your throat!

kamelot put on a very good show (again). Good mix of classics in the set.

Kamelot is always THE BEST show! Battle Beast was bombastic and high energy- super fun show!

Amazing vocals, crowd participation and overall mood. Amazing song choice. I would recommend this band live even for people who have never heard their songs, their energy is incredible.

despite delays getting everything started Bad Suns did not disappoint!!! these guys have a way like making you feel that you’re the only person in the venue, stage presence is incredible, and take the time to connect with the audience. looking forward to seeing them again!!!

It was really good. But they preformed for only 40 mins and made us wait 2 hours listening to some artists we’ve never even heard of
