JMSN is one of my few favorite artists /bands. His shows never disappoint! He is an amazing performer, singer, guitar player, song writer etc. The show on Nov. 9 in Houston Texas was my third time seeing the band and I can say it was my favorite since I got the chance to get close to the stage. He interacts with his fans and is a very down to earth person! I even met him once after previous a show. The audio was amazing and bass player Ricky is awesome as well as Ryan, the drummer! Y’all rock! - Silla ⭐️
Wednesday & his band always put on an amazing show, and this one was no exception. It was great hearing an all Murderdolls set (Wednesday's former band), all in tribute to Joey & Ben (Rest in Peace). Can't wait for the next time they roll through Houston!
This was an unreal experience, a real bucket-list concert that lived up to everything I hoped it would be. Getting to hear them cover the Melvins' "Boris" as the finale really was the icing on the cake--I hope they release that track soon, because Atsuo killed it!
It was a amazing expierience by artist Destroy Lonely. His preformance was incredible. I think that he should come back to houston to put on a show for his fans down in Texas. I think it would be a great location to put on a show for his new album "If Looks Could Kill", which was another great album. If he did come back to Houston Texas I would for sure come to see the show. I am a big fan even since you were really really underground. You are gonna get the attention you deserve. I will give another rating if you do come back. thanks for another great album lone
I was at the Danielle Bradbery Special Place Tour Concert at The WareHouse Live Houston April 1, 2023.
Danielle Bradbery was SPECTACULAR!
Her range, rich tone, power and stage presence made her well deserving of her own headline tour!
The venue, The Warehouse Live, was crude but effective, with no seating and raw unfinished decor. But the crown did not mind as Danielle transcended it all with her mastery of a wide range of technically difficult pieces with difficult words sequences and tricky timing.
The opening sets of Angel White and Tiera Webster were short but showed that they have a promising future ahead.
Overall, it was a great night!
The concert was great but I wish the venue offered fast pass tickets because I’m short and there was a bunch of tall people in front of me even though I got there 2 hours before the doors opened at 7pm. The picture was my view even though I was on my tip toes.
The concert was great from what we got to see! We missed rain city drive thanks to misinformation from the venue. They said doors opened at 7 and show starts at 8. Come to find out the doors opened at 6:30 and rain city went on at 7. Everyone in the crowd around us was asking when rain city was going to come on.
So the show was awesome. The Wonder Years put on an amazing set as did hot mulligan and Carly cosgrove.
My single complaint about this show was the venue , as there was literal sewage water leaking in and around the venue. Nearly all of the toilets were broken and overflowing 🤢
I was supposed to see them last time they came out, but they canceled. It's okay, though they made up for it this time at this venue. One of my top 3 fav bands, and I am glad I got to see counterparts.
This was a sort of shot in the dark for me having never heard there music before but man am I glad I went to this show , they where incredible especially as a 2 man band , really blew me away with their wall of sound and musicianship , will see again for sure and get their albums
The whole experience was great. The openers were awesome and it felt so alive the whole time. It was even crazier when Last Dinosaurs came out. Waited so long for them to go on tour and it was worth it. Can’t wait for next time. They did say that no one cares about “Beaux-Mont”…but i do.
Killer show says it all. This show beat the #$%@ out of 2020 Knotfest in Houston. I haven't heard as consistent line up for a big show ever! My only small complaint was that Upon a Buried Body was a no-show. I've never seen them, but heard that they generate a "party" atmosphere. No explanation was given, but I wish that they would have made it. More waitstaff would've been a real help. We were up in the vip tables and saw a waiter/waitress maybe once per half hour. Not usually a deal killer, but we were ready to drink...a lot! Note to Warehouse, hire more people!!! WOW what a show though.
Amazing show! From the opener, Hero the Band, through to the end of The Warning set, we were jamming to some of the most top-notch hard rock music out there. The energy of both bands was electrifying and their talent is off the charts. If you haven’t given The Warning a listen, you must. Same for Hero.
Just an incredible night of music.
The Warning Lived up to the Hype! The girls are Fire. Their energy was off the roof. It’s been years since I attended a rock concert and they did not disappoint. The crowd went nuts for them and their music. I hope to see them again in the near Future.
If no one else has said it I will, these girls are going to be huge in the future. They might still be young but they bring in big energy to their show!! It was a great show and haven't had goosebumps from a show in a while haha
Awesome show! Great performances from all of the bands. I liked the nuances between each band even though they were all related to the death metal genre. Wasn’t familiar with any of them expect DF, but consider me a new fan! They nailed the lineup!
Last time I saw DTP was PNAS 2014 ( Rock Cruise)and I loved them full on metal. Complete change with new line up far superior mike Keneally , guest keyboards Diego (from Haken) . Bonkers but more eclectic. Need some more time to figure if I like the Empath experience
I've never been to a show in the Green Room before and the small size is perfect for a punk show. I didn't make it in time for the opener but Dead to the World, Sick Cow, and Commie Hilfiger were fantastic. Overall it was a great time with good friends and loud fast music. Couldn't ask for more!
The line up was great starting out with Drug Church, followed by Trash Boat, Boston Manor, and the headliner- Movements. All bands performed exceptionally, even when faced with adversity. This included a young (16-21) woman collapsing in the middle of the song and began having a seizure. The lead singer of Movements was able to take control of the crowd immediately and give her room until the paramedics got there and were able to take her to the hospital. Also, SO MANY STAGE DIVERS. I don’t know what’s wrong with some people. I nearly got jump tackled by a guy almost twice my size as he was in full belly-flop position as he came down on my section of the crowd. He went straight to the floor, no one caught him. There were a few random balloons? I’m really not sure why. In addition, an altercation pursued yet AGAIN during movements set. I’m not mad at the band for that. People are idiotic assholes sometimes, this being no exception. One of the bands tried to make a mosh pit in the middle of the floor, I personally feel that warehouse live in Houston isn’t big enough to hold as many people that were there and still have enough space for a pit. Pits are dangerous, and pop punk isn’t necessarily the kinda music I’ve heard around a mosh. And the lead singer was encouraging people to do it more than once and I don’t think anyone really wanted to have to squish together even more than we were. Merch was awesome! I got something from all the bands table except drug church, we missed the set due to traffic. After the show, my coworker (whom I came with) and I stayed at the venue after the show to make sure we got all the merch we wanted, and we got to meet the bands!!! Except Drug Church again. We’re they even there? I didn’t see any of the members and we got there around 7:40. Anyway, Boston Manor definitely stood out with their stage presence. They seem to have lovely personalities, and every band member I met was grateful to ME for coming to the show. Like they were all very sincerely telling the people who met them how important we are to them, and it was really nice. Long story coming to an end, this was an amazing experience with great music. I can’t believe I met them all. Very talented musicians. I can’t wait to see Boston Manor again in New Orleans on June 14th. Only one suggestion: FREE WATER or allow outside sealed water bottles or something . We all know how sweaty these venues get and that can be dangerous without proper hydration. Much love!!
these guys are one of the best bands in Houston, hands down. Their live shows are high energy, loud, and fun. In addition to the DTTW guys, this bill also included Revels (another awesome Houston band), Steadfast, and Nowhere Bound. They all played their guts out, and it was a great show.
