This Was The Best Concert I Have Been To In Years!! RAHEEM DEVAUGN ROCKS🥰🥰
He Had The Whole Audience Excited and Entertained. I Would Go See Him Again In A Nice Environment As The Winery.
Plus it was my 60th Birthday Over Joyed. Even Recieved a ROSE From Him⚘️⚘️
great working band but heres some constructive criticism
1 originally was supposed to start at 7.30p. then moved to 8p then it turns out unannounced opening act starts at 8p. the young dubliners start at close to 9p.l… on a monday night with workday early tuesday morning
2. so much great music to choose from! pick rip roaring songs make it a hoot!
3 adjust the sound more crisply and less loud so we can hear the singer’s words and explanations before and during the song. couldnt understand most if what he said.
this is a band that could reach its potential and be great and beloved!
Love David, went with my son, we had a blast, David is a one of a kind diamond in the rough! His voice never changed! He can still hit all the notes! Most underrated singer of our time! His twist on a song is infectious, ie: Kansas City and Statesboro Blues! Not to mention “Will not be your fool” Mr.Bromberg is a true Legend!
La verdad que tenia mas de 5 años deseando ver a keke en concierto haciendo gala de su gran capacidad vocal que si tiene. Pero este concierto fue agridulce. Hizo mucho playback . El sonido del recinto era bastante malo. Y casi no hubo nada acustico. La verdad no me esperaba que alguien de su nivel tuviese ese bajon tan grande. Aun asi la amo. Pero no puedo negar una verdad sobre todo cuando pago para ver al artista.
Ive been going to see all genres of live music at least 1x a week for decades. Since the early 90s I’ve probably seen Shawn perform at least 30 times. This was one of my favorite shows that .i have seen her perform. Voice was great as always, she was hilarious between songs and she played a couple of songs I’ve rarely heard her play. It’s hard to pinpoint what makes her such a mesmerizing performer but whatever it is it is effortless and magical!
Beyond fab! Southside. And the Jukes were on fire! Great set list, , fun venue, and seeing Jersey’s best made for a show to remember. Southside never disappoints, and how lucky we were to enjoy one of rocks most underrated and unrecognized legends! Can’t wait to see these Jersey boys again!
Suzanne Vega was meant to play at the City Winery. The intimate setting, her amazing sound and her engaging story telling are great.
The acoustics and views of the stage are great. The food, drink & service are all on par for the cost. The only issue is the size of the tables / space between the tables. You are very much on top of the person sitting next to you.
Really loved this show. I am a big fan of Charlie Mars and have seen him multiple times but this show was special. He featured many songs from his latest album “Times Have Changed” as well as older numbers. What was special was the impassioned delivery and quality of the music. He is a great songwriter, too. Hope to see him again.
Grace is an amazing entertainer. She engages the crowd with her sultry smooth vocals & plays an outstanding saxophone while dancing to the music. Her band was incredible too, especially the drummer named Matt. This is the third time that I have seen her in NYC, previously at Chelsea Table & last year at Le Poisson Rouge (LPR). Please keep coming back to NYC, Grace.
It was a great night! I love being treated with an acoustic concert. The audience was lively and David had great quips too. I especially enjoyed getting to hear Analog Heart Songs because that album is very near and dear to my heart. I look forward to his fourth performance at City Winery.
Phenomenal performance as always Keller is an American treasure and is performances are always entertaining and filled with Melody The fact that he was on tour with Steve Poltz only made the show that much more enjoyable and the two of them to close the show was spectacular Don't miss it
This was one of the best concerts I have ever attended. Chrissy is beyond talented and she embraces her imperfections in a way that makes you instantly love her even more. She is also humble, kind, caring, and has an innate ability to quickly and deeply connect with her audience. We did not want the concert to end. I would pay to see her perform again without hesitation.
The venue was outstanding. It was small enough for the concert to feel intimate but large enough to create enormous energy and excitement. The food and wine were also thoroughly enjoyable. I have seen numerous shows at City Winery/City Vineyard and have enjoyed all of them.
The New City Winery is a beautiful space.
JD Souther was in fine voice. The show was solo acoustic, no band . For 2 solid hours,JD sang so many of his wonderful songs from You're Only Lonely and Faithless Love to Heartache Tonight, Heart of the Matter and Best of My Love. We were also treated to Ain't Misbehavin and If I Only Had a Brain!
JD is also quite the raconteur, telling many great stories.
The show was very nice. Eric was as good as expected. The wife and I were disappointed we didn't get the seats I purchased though. That expectation could be improved on. If the venue can not correct the process "on line", then it should remove the option to choose your seating and make it 1st come 1st serve so no one else is starting the evening disappointed. Seems all the seats are good seats, but upfront is upfront! 👌🏽
First time to City Winery in this location. The Loft stage was a good space to see Andy play. Also my first time to see him play live. Loved his energy and new tunes from recent album sounded great. Very memorable show for me. Oh... John Petrucci was in the audience to see Andy and Calum Graham play.
As a complete fan of TEOA, I have seen them perform live many times and yet each time they add something to the performances making each time fresh and wonderful. In addition to some amazing re-works of some of their older songs, TEOA added a superb Cellist to their line up. The deeper, vocal quality of the cello blended so well with the singers' close harmonies and provided a counterpoint to the banjo and guitar that elevated this performance into the realm of the sublime! If I could give 10 stars out of 5 I would. This was the first time I had been to the new City Winery location, and it didn't disappoint either. The Loft was a great intimate location. The wait staff, sound and quality of food were all great. It was a little too warm for comfort, so anyone planning on going to the Loft should know to dress in layers if possible when it is cold outside. Wearing a long sleeve sweater was not a great idea in that space.
Everything I expected- Great! Your shows are the Best! Your lyrics, the music, your voice & the comedy throughout your show - the Best entertainment! I'm never disappointed at the end of your show.. well besides the fact that the show had to come to an end! I'm glad I chose your show to be the 1st for me in over a year (haven't been to any live entertainment since February 2020!) Thank You Eric Roberson for being a great artist!
Another incredible group assembled by Luther! He with Amy Helm and The Birds of Chicago recorded and touring as The Sisters of the Strawberry Moon. Extra bonuses this night included Graham Lesh joining in for the whole show, plus Valerie June for one song & Tony Leone walking on for drums mandolin and vocals for several! My feet haven't hit the ground yet!!!
Great performance without front acts so much more of the band. The addition of drums/ electric guitar and upright bass add to the lead dobro ‘s sound. First set was a lot of recorded material which was great while the second set had a lot of new material. We can’t wait for their return.
A gifted artist with a beautiful spirit! I love every minute of her show! The music and the explanation behind each song was enlightening and inspiring! I was also very impressed with her sister who is an amazing gift as well who opened for Victory. In addition, her band rocked...they did their thing!!! Awesome show!!!
