This was without doubt one of the greatest shows I've ever been to. It was such an amazing party atmosphere with all the crowd dancing, singing, and just having a thoroughly awesome time. The fan interaction was second to none and my 14yr old daughter and I had simply the best night. She even got to chat to Zpor as he wandered around the crowd after the show asking if people enjoyed it and having pictures taken with fans. It really was such a special night.
I 100% recommend anyone going to see HENGE, I know we're definitely gonna see them again.
Hi went to gig in leeds alway great sound and cool songs with funky look keep it going nice to see a band that really play with original songs dying bread see you again soon go in ✌️
Another brilliant show by The Sheepdogs, superbly supported by another great Canadian band, The Commoners. We have seen The Sheepdogs every time they have been in the UK over the last 5 or 6 years and they never disappoint. Every song they played was slick, well rehearsed and got the whole crowd jumping. Can't wait 'til they return and will definitely be front and centre to see them.
Nick Lowe is arguably the most talented, entertaining and genuinely likeable Musician/Songwriters you'll ever see ..... a National Treasure !! Combine that with one of the best venues to see a band in the UK and you've got a night to remember.
The Sprints delivered an absolutely phenomenal gig, with energy, fun, and emotion. It was utterly brilliant.
The support act Venus Grrrls were also excellent and joined the Sprints for a few songs.
The venue itself was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff l, from doormen to bar staff.
An all round fantastic experience 🎉🎉
been waiting to see lc! for YEARS now and they did not disappoint at all. jason & kim ran the merch stand for a bit and gareth came out to meet fans after the show!! defo the best night of my life, looking forward to seeing them here again❤️
Absolutely brilliant performance from a band that's been going for over 50 years. Thijs van Leer is 75 and clearly enjoyed every minute of his and the band performance. I'd often mourned Jan Akkerman leaving the band but Menno Gootjes was absolutely fantastic on guitar playing a number of amazing solos. I was also blown away by 77 year old Pierre van der Linden's drumming and what must have been a 15 minute solo, where does he get the energy.
Great venue which is small creating an intermate atmosphere and could get close to the stage.
In all, well worth the entrance fee and will see them again if they keep touring.
Fantastic as ever!! We took a customer we look after with special complex needs to see them for help s 60th birthday , they were very very good and took their time to make his day very special for him , a lovely bunch of lads who are very unassuming
So very pleased they are doing so well with their Tempus album, very well deserved.
We love the Brudenell! It’s such a great small venue that’s run so well. The sound is great and it’s so intimate. We’re from the south so we can never stop being shocked by how cheap (and decent!) the beers are here!
Yard Act, well these guys are awesome, they always are. It was lovely to see them in such an intimate environment. They really looked relaxed and at home. Great to meet James and Ryan on their walkabouts around the venue before the gig. The gig itself was one of the weirdest and most wonderful I’ve ever been to!! The comedian Phill Jupitus selling his artwork next to the merch desk, the band doing a Q&A with Vernon Herschel Harley (a Phill Jupitus character) before the gig and to end with, them all singing Chumba Wumba with on stage with the comedian Rose Matafeo on a big screen (as unfortunately she couldn’t be there in person due to the train strikes). A good night well spent I’d say!
I love Halocene so much, so it was amazing to finally see them live. Location was great although some of the regular customers there who probably weren’t there for Halocene or Half-Lives were really rude during the show. Other than that - which is out of the control both Halocene, and the club - it was perfect. Even between songs they had bits of comedy and some really emotional moments about what the songs were written about and dedicated to. Halocene were super friendly, with Addie even staying behind afterwards to take photos with everyone.
omg dylan was sooo amazing!! the sweetest, funnest, coolest, most genuine person ever - her stage presence is everything, the atmosphere at her gigs is so loving and refreshing - she really reflects onto the crowd. dylan is definitely one to see - it does not matter if you’re not familiar with her music / lyrics, you will have an amazing time either way. not to mention how kind she is when meeting her at the signing after the show, she takes her time to interact with her fans both on stage and off and never seems like she’s ‘faking it’. 100% recommend and will be coming to see her for a third time. love love love.
Great atmosphere , always a pleasure to see De Staat in such an intimate venue considering they play stadiums in mainland Europe. Even better as the guys hung around after to meet fans and we got photos with them
The support CLT DRP where also good, rather intense but talented performers.
Great night out, was aching the next day from all the dancing. If you ever get chance to see De Staat just go, you won't regret it!
Absolutely brilliant. Seen WWK a few times and this was the best gig so far.
Harmonies were perfect, sound was perfect, great interaction with the crowd - we were brilliant singers BTW.
I took a friend who had never really heard them before and now he is a convert.
Thanks for a fabulous night.
What an amazing gig, perfect venue (not too big) and the band were incredible (as usual). Paul's voice cuts through your spine and leaves it tingling. The Broken Bones are fine musicians and the sound is fantastic. Paul entertains and brings out the passion in his singing and musicians. He said "I'm coming to see you" and proceeded to walk through the crowd and performed stood on the mixing desk at the back of the room for my favourite track. Looking forward to next time.
What a night. Firstly, Rattle mesmerised us with their dual drumming and dreamy vocals before Traams took to the stage and hit us with some of the best psych rock I've ever seen pouring molasses like bass guitar into my ears. Not to mention Joe Casey wondering onto the stage to belt out some lyrics before drifting back off to backstage like it was nothing. Then Protomartyr took to absolutely belting the sell out crowd with their endless selection of brilliant songs (which unfortunately had to end at some point). Kelley Deal adding that beautiful vocal element and accompanying guitar action. Really nice to see Rattle for the first time, excellent duo. Traams I already knew I'd like and listened to but first time seeing live, wow. Would see a show in their own right. But Protomartyr, never ever ever cease to amaze me. My favourite band and get better every single time I see them. Not only their music, but the people they're just a humble 'normal' bunch of musicians making people happy. What's not to love. Thank you Protomartyr.
Both Sick Joy and Ready the Prince were also fantastic! Great venue as always. Amazing how much sound you can get out of a drummer and a guitarist! Can’t wait for them to bring out some more music ✌️
god i miss it so much, it was so amazing to see robbie and maia and they were all so so so great. it was the night of a lifetime and i wish i could be back within that moment
Just seeing the Long Ryders again ,after the last time (Farewell Tour) at the Wardrobe.Thought that was it lads, thank goodness they had a rethink. The classic Long Ryders tracks all there Fom The Gunslinger Man to Looking For Lewis &Clark mixed up with covers especially Tom Petty to new songs from their latest great album, Psycadelic Country Soul. Again lads THANKS.SEE YA NEXT TIME
Therapy were awesome until they had to stop the show due to some idiots.
Andy Cairns, talking between songs about looking out for each other then that happens. Hopefully get to see them again soon as they never put on a bad show.
Beth was on fine form proving once more why she has the voice that is the best in the UK. Playing songs from her follow up 'Gota Fria' she was everything I could have hoped for. Sublime at one moment, overpowering and delighting us the next with her range and the ease that she showed her voice off with.
Definitely recommended if you liked her last album
