Pretty much everything was awesome. Chaos and Carnage, what can we say more. Wish it were held at the Summit though. I will say this, Vitriol, get rid of your merch guy. That guys a douche bag to everyone. I watched him practically for an hour sitting on the bar stools in front of the merch tables just being a jerk to a lot of people. I did enjoy watching Vitriol and everyone else and enjoyed discovering Vitriol on the lineup and getting to know their albums before the show.
Simply the best concert I've ever been to...The band has such a strong energy and is really playing with the public, it was fantastic!
The fact that I was just a couple meters from them helped a lot for sure...
I don't know if it's due to the place (Gothic Theater) or from the band's sound system, but the sound was really not the best though...
Great Show ! GBH came in and knocked it out of the park no blabbing on and on like the supporting acts. The establishment was awesome too. Going in through one door sucked but everything else was good. GBH needs to keep it up with all the bangers opening up with diplomatic immunity and ending with their Motörhead cover of bomber. 22 years since I first saw them and still impactful.
This was the most perfectly mixed concert I have ever attended. I cannot believe how incredible they sounded, even front and center. Normally there, even in the past at this very venue, at the very least you get faded vocals front and center. But every single part of their sound was crystal clear the whole night. They had a couple minor technical problems during songs that they fixed efficiently without out throwing off the grove of the rest of the the band playing or the audiences vibes. And the technical skill? Oh fuck, their talent knows no ends! This blew bands I've seen like A Perfect Circle and Porcupine Tree out of the water
Show was amazing every band performed great, Sorry Sweetheart really kicked it off and got the crowd ready to bounce and move. You can feel the energy coming out of them even when one of them has a broken foot. Younger than Niels mostly hardcore-ska set kept the energy high. Piñata Protest had some of the best audience participation ever, even with more than half the venue barely understanding them. The Mad Caddies were also just amazing really ended the night on a good note.
Fantastic show! Denver bands Sorry Sweetheart, Younger Than Neil played to the crowd and enjoyed every minute of their sets. Pinata Protest with their unique style took the crowd to another level and set the bar for Mad Caddies, who did not disappoint. And, as expected, an awesome show from Mad Caddies. So much fun! Great atmosphere and great fans for all the bands.
She came in with a cold, but you couldn't even tell and she was still givin it all she had! The emotional rollercoaster of the low lows and quiet reverent moments interspersed with silly, more upbeat dance-y tunes made for a full experience and was a bit hard to adjust from one to the other within two consecutive songs. She's more self-assured and comfortable nowadays than I've ever seen her on-stage though, which shows her growth as a performer alongside her songwriting.
The girls' vocals hold up live! Their harmonies/intertwining vocals feel so natural and seamless, like one voice as opposed to two. Wynter's vocals were a bit muffled at times and kinda soft/mumbled too close to the mic, but she had more rock star energy than I was expecting from this kind of music. Tessa was super consistent and holding everything down on guitar and vocals. Their drummer was goin HARD. They were a bit nervous and uncertain I could tell, but with more experience, they're gonna be bona fide indie rockers.
They put their full energy into it and the dance moves, light effects, and amount of rapport with the crowd was just right but shortest show I've ever been to for a headlining act?? Whole thing only lasted 2.5 hrs and that was with a 30+ min opener and not starting til 9pm and ending before 10:30pm. Encore was a bit odd in that they just walked off stage without addressing the crowd so I couldn't tell it was even "end of show". But the intention to create a safe space for their LGBTQ+ community was thoroughly driven home.
VOWWS was a great opening act! Definitely going to be diving into their music more after experiencing them live.
Billy Howerdel put out a very beautiful and inspirational album and getting to see him perform these songs live was an experience I will never forget. Thank you Billy for bringing such an amazing album on the road with you to share with your fans.
The most amazing experience I have ever had!!!
The light show was spectacular! The sound was exquisite! And Aurora herself was so perfect in every way I can think of!! I wish I could go back in time to relive the joy and excitement from this concert! I can't wait for more concerts!
Good show! Andy played many songs that I wanted to hear, mostly from 2015+. The vocals, guitars and clarinet were amazing. The drums were on point but not as nuanced in some songs as they were on albums. Closed with ‘Satan’ and encore with ‘Wendell Walker,’ slightly downers, I would have liked some songs from earlier albums or some upbeat Foxwarren songs. Happy I could see the show, Andy Shauf has such a unique confessional style.
It was absolutely amazing! After their second encore i started screaming let it burn and people joined me and they came back on and played it! Then they played my boyfriends favorite song the saw is the law. It was one of the most amazing experirnces of my life. Thanks philly Bo and crew! Love you guys!
I love this band soooooo much!!! This concert was a blast and the venue was packed. So much movement and dancing around by just about everyone. The creativity of this band is so unique and I won't ever stop craving more songs. Can't wait to continue seeing them every time they come to Colorado!!! :) :) :)
Best concert I’ve ever been to!!! Dom was fuckin incredible!! He puts out such an electrifying energy that brings the whole entire audience together! Greatest experience ever!! I highly recommend seeing Yungblud in concert if you can!! You won’t regret it! I hope he comes back to Denver in the near future!! LOVE YOU DOM!!!
The band was awesome. We did the VIP and were right up front for the show. Great songs, great playing, great crowd interaction. Another amazing thing are their fans. The Strutters. A surprisingly amount of people I talked to knew each other and had saw multiple shows. And they were very friendly! Very cool. They are the best new band out there. Two albums and they have no “bathroom break” songs! Like I said, it was awesome. I can’t wait to see them again. Next tour I am gonna take a week and see multiple shows! Do not miss them when they are near (or far) from you. Also the openers “The Glorious Sons” were great, too. Keep on Strutting!
I-70 into town through a blizzard nothing you want to experience these guys punched through it and gave us an Epic experience hats off to everyone that played and came out, some of my friends drove 100 miles to see the show wouldn't miss it for nothing, as I wouldn't ! thank you very much see you next time !
Sooo good...such a solid live sound and intensity. The crisp delivery of their musical skill and brotherly vibe, you could feel how deeply they were connected wherever you were in the audience. This undeniably powerful grouping will go far and long into the musical experience and I cannot wait to see and hear what they come up with next. If they are coming near, get out there and see them or they will power their way past, as smooth as any!
These grrrls rock! I was so surprised and impressed with the intensity and groove they had to deliver. It was so fun and energetic that I nearly lost my mind! I would strongly recommend that you find a way to see these grrrls live and to support them on their upward journey into highly sought after entertainers.
