My husband and I have been to a lot of shows over our many years, and we both agreed this was on eof our absolute favorites! The energy and connection with the audience were phenomenal; paired with the music that we're clearly there for. It was the resurgence and essence of punk that is so desperately needed.
I feel that the Phoenix is one of the last venues that reminds me of the 80s when we had a big club and it outlasted the old clubs like for instance rock 'n' roll heavens, the gasworks, etc. Now getting back to Decapitated in the show I had a great time I thought it was fun and a great time the great place I think to enjoy the show and just forget about life for a few hours
I love Nettspends music but the crowd was not great. Clearly many people were new to floor concerts as there was no pit and the crowd did not open up. I’ve been to many concerts and this was probably the worst one in terms of the crowds behaviour. Nettspends set was also very short but of course it was still a great experience!
Got to see the living tombstone in Toronto yesterday. Honestly that was the best concert I have ever been to in my entire life. They're really great.Guys with great costumes.
And and know how to put the rock in rock.
They said toronto was a great crowd So i'm hoping they will come back Again , seeing as this was their first time touring Outside the US Phenomenal and my Favorite band!
💀🔥
If you weren't there, you missed out on an incredible show. If this is the last show I see at the Phoenix before Toronto turns it into more empty condos, then I will die a happy man. It has been over 8 years since this band has graced our city with their presence and they gave the usual 117% that they give. I just hope they are back before another 8 years goes by.
Appropriate tour name for the mix & sound quality. Soundguy needed that cupcake before the show to wake him up.
Little skits & comedy are on point, talented group of f@$#'s, and a real. damn. shame that you couldn't hear Tobi or Dean's sweeping, tapping or pinch harmonics - only a wall of double bass & mud.
What the actual &#%#. Lower. The. Bass. Faders. This was a non-issue with Death @ the same venue few weeks back.
I've been to hundreds of metal shows through my life with countless amazing acts but have always wished more then anything to have been able to see death, DTA has given that chance to me and many other who otherwise would never know the magic of what that is. I can honestly say this waa the best, most rewarding concert I have ever been to in my life!!!! Let the metal flow!!
It was fuckin awesome band, they were so tight rhythmically and so good at their instruments. Surprisingly a three piece band that sounded like five people. Venue is shit cause it's hot as fuck and the merch is off in another room and the line is always super long. All the bands were amazing I'd love to see them again
Insomnium never fails to put on the most epic show every time they're here. They were epic back in 2007 when they first came to Toronto and they're even better now. Love these guys 🤘🤘🤘. Omnium Gatherum & Wilderun were amazing as well. Love they're energy and the way they interacted with the crowd. All around, the best show I've been to yet this year.
Waiting 4 hours for a show that only lasted 55 mins, that wasn’t nice. The music and artist was lit and fun, but could’ve had more regulation and less schedule flaws. Plus the line up outside was crazy slow and unorganized.
Key Glock was great and I liked it a lot!! Just the venue needed more work and the organizers of everything!
I saw Michael’s The Angels Of Light project in early 2000s and I’m a big fan of Swans since early 90s. I remember reading about Swans’ extremely loud concerts over and over but now I know that there are no words to describe how loud they actually are.
It was two and a half hours of pure shamanic experience. It’s like standing on a subway platform while train is running near you for a prolonged period of time. Most likely even louder than that. Literally every single person around me was using earplugs. I’ll never forget absorbing Swans’ frequencies with my whole body.
Powerful, occasionally angry and unforgettable.
Long live Michael Gira!
Such an amazing show! Honestly it was the best concert of my life!! Nessa and Isabel did AMAZING! I loved every moment of it Compared to the us shows and the price conversion the merch was really affordable which I liked. I also really liked the burn box I thought that was kinda neat. Overall I’d rate my experience a 11/10 ILYSM NESS keep up the great work <3
My best friend took me to see him for the first time. Didn't know what to expect and I was blown away. He's an incredible performer with never-ending energy and delivers a positive message. He truly connected with the audience with his songs and words.
I'm officially a fan and can't wait to see him again!!
BONERTITS!
Would stage dive after being fed to mutant aliens here to enslave a useless populous of pathetic tax paying mindless voting scum any day of the week!!! However, stage diving prohibited! No fans allowed on balcony? WTF?!? Suck my cuttlefish Phoenix concert theater! And by the way! Fix your stupid ATM’s or take tap! Get with the times you Covid spreading c*nt’s we are STILL in a pandemic!!!!!
I am Accept fan since 80s. Last night, the concert in Toronto was a bit some dissapontment. Wolf has announced that Mark has some medical issues and couldn’t perform this night ! It has been over 10 years since I’ve seen the band here in Canada. I even brought my wife to show her the great metal band ! Still couldn’t belive we haven’t heard Mark singing. . Whatever happened I wish Mark to get well ! I have to give other members of the band my respect ! They worked hard to play and sing sometimes to keep the croud excited !
That experience has to be my all time favourite concert. All the songs were amazing and Sabrina Carpenter did so well. At one point, someone in the crowd wasn't feeling well so the audience tried to get Sabrina's attention and Sabrina shut down the show instantly and made sure everyone was okay. She really knows how to take care of her audience. Mon coeur est à elle pour toujours
The band and supporting bands were all excellent, honestly the show was great except the crowd was really rude with the moshing. Like I love to mosh but my gf and I both had to leave to the back of GA because we didn't feel safe near the front/side.
But also the girl from Just Friends gives me weird vibes, like she's trying too hard.
Otherwise it was a ripper, wicked show.
Duuuuuuuuuuuuude I can't even begin as to where it got good and kept getting better.
You guys hit all of the right heart strings that evening! All three bands were absolutely fire, but DGD absolutely brought the house down!
Thank you so much much Pheonix Concert Hall for hosting our 8th World Wonder, and thank you William Swan for bringing all of these people together.
#SwanCult 🤘
SWS brought it last night! Amazing as usual. Would’ve loved it more if kellins mic was a bit louder but they’re amazing nonetheless. Set It Off even sick put on one of the best shows I’ve seen. North Point was new to me but very impressed with them! Definitely found some new talented music to listen too! Thanks for such a great night (don’t get those nights out with 2 babies anymore) so I’m glad it was worth it! ❤️
It was a beautiful show, I’m so glad we were able to see her! Ionna Lee is an energetic and engaging artist, and her voice is flawless live. The Phoenix is also a great venue. Friendly staff, a lounge next to the main room, lots of bars for refreshment. All in all a lovely night. I hope she comes back soon.
