Pabst Theater

The show was great! The only thing I would mention, is it was a seated venue (meaning you paid for the view you got) and the band had everyone stand and flood the isles, lol. I felt bad for the older couple in front of me who definitely were not planning to stand for the entire show, they were sat behind the tallest man ever, who stood the whole time they were seated, I don't know how much of the show they actually got to see. I'd also be pretty miffed if I paid for front row seating (some of those seats were quite pricey) and some joe shmoe ran in and blocked my view. (or people who simply can't stand for an entire show and paid for good seats to get a good view, they really wouldn't have been able to enjoy the show at all) The music was wonderful otherwise, and I'm glad I was able to go.

Amazing show The Best Iron & Wine performance I have ever seen. The ONLY negative was the woman sitting directly in front of us who must have spilled an entire bottle of awful sickening perfume all over herself. I literally tasted it and was hard to endure. So rude ... and we had great front center tickets 3 rows back from the stage

The show was AMAZING, we loved Nate Jackson! One suggestion to the Pabst Theatre….. you need a better sound system for the folks that are sitting in the third tier balcony area. It was very hard to hear the comedians speak. It felt like we missed half the show because of this. Very disappointing.

We had tickets for a David Foster concert. It was cancelled because of COVID. We have been waiting for quite some time, a very long time. Sometimes you wait and wait and wait. Then, disappointment prevails. Not Thursday night in Milwaukee at the beautiful Pabst Theater. The magnificence of the Pabst was out done by Mr. Foster and his beautiful spouse Katherine McPhee. And true to form, they brought with them two additional talents. A budding young performer, their three-year-old son Rennie stole quite a few minutes of the show with his drumming display. Someone like Rennie has so much going for him. Blessed with talented parents he is certain to entertain us for many years to come. Another pleasant surprise was Daniel Emmet. David Foster has brought to us another unbelievable talent. His strong clear voice resounded throughout the spectacular Pabst. He is destined for stardom! There are so many moments that stand out it is impossible to enumerate them. We have a lot to be thankful for and certainly David Foster ranks near the top of our list. Thank you to the management of the Pabst for having the foresight to bring David Foster to Milwaukee. Let's hope his return is soon, very soon. It was quite a night, one that at the age of 78 is one of the most memorable and entertaining evenings of my life.

Great show! The Pabst is an excellent venue and we had great seats. Al did 2 sets, mainly electric with a lot of songs from the early albums, though he did start the second set off with a really cool acoustic section. Al was a good storyteller, especially liked the story about how he connected with Chick Corea and Return to Forever back when he was 19. Really talented band, Philippe Saisse on keys, Gumbi Ortiz on percussion. Great evening, great music!

I've been an avid listener to the Wailin' Jennys for over a decade but hadn't been able to attend a live show of theirs until now. They did not disappoint, and the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee was a beautiful venue. The Jennys played old standbys (Long Time Traveler, One Voice, Arlington, Glory Bound, Bird Song, and a very co0l live version of Cherry Blossom Love) as well as some songs that have not yet been released. My only complaint (but not enough of a problem to give 4 instead of 5 stars) is that, while their live vocal blending was as good as I'd hoped, the microphones sounded out of sync, so the lyrics were often harder to hear and the voices were sometimes a bit off in terms of timing, which was a bit disjointing, especially as someone who knows their catalog by heart. But I take that to have been a problem with the venue sound engineering, not the band. I very highly recommend seeing a Jennys concert - they are simply amazing.

This was my second time attending a concert at the Pabst Theater. I love the feel of the theater. It's got that old time feel to it but it's very comfortable. The lights and the sound were fantastic. I appreciated they had three working bars that kept the orders moving quickly. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The show the Little River Band put on was fantastic. They involved the entire audience in the experience. It was great. I loved it

FUN and FULL of good music! Brian always gives 100% to his performances. The shows are always well curated - moving seamlessly from one song to another. The band members know the songs (no reading the music off of computer screens). The crowd on the 24th was enthusiastic. Brian plays songs the way they were recorded. He has too many hits for just one show!

We really enjoyed having a great time, listening to my brother jam on the keys! And the guys in the van were top notch can’t find it anywhere. The trumpet is the best, New Orleans! Really had a great time. Thanks a lot Eric and Maureen Ellis from Racine Wisconsin. send us another ticket

The Pabst Theater is a beautiful venue to attend. The Maverick’s are the best! We have traveled a number of times to see them perform. They ALWAYS have a great show. We are not of Mexican or Spanish heritage, but the set they played was great, even if we don’t understand the language. We wish the band could book a gig at our Wisconsin State Fair, sometime in the future. They could pack the house.

Was awesome , was so excited to see Natalie again I had to buy tickets to 3 shows in a 200 mile radius because she didn’t come close to where I live and was making up for cancelled shows and lost opportunities. 1 more show tomorrow. Hopefully she’ll come closer to the QCA. Thanks for being You and having your awesome band.

Everything we expected. Opening act, Armored Saint, was on point and on fire! Great show by them. Really long set. W.A.S.P. was a bit canned, as in, over-rehearsed, inflexible. No spotlights for them, at all, only backlighting. Suspect Blackie was trying to hide his age/face. Also, think a voice track might have been backing up Blackie, himself. Everything else seemed real and sounded great. Fun show, all around, though. Glad we went, ‘cuz ya’ never know if he’ll make it around to the U.S. again.

Went to see armored Saint. They were really good, they always are great live. Wasp had great props, and videos. Music was really good, but some people thought the vocals were too good. Piped. Problem was lighting and fog machines. Fog was too much and never went away. Almost could not see the band. Lighting just made the fog worse and tougher to see.

The show was great! They played a good mix of songs from a few of their albums, a few covers and a couple new songs. Ninja Brian very seductively removed his shoes and socks and showed the audience his feet, it was hilarious. Truly one of the best shows I've been to, I would go and see them again in a heartbeat.

Mo sang, i believe, about 9 songs. He was the warmup for Josh Turner. He came out unannounced and made a joke about no kissing tonight (coronavirus) and kicked off with "Behind this guitar". Songs included "When I'm with you", "I met Merle Haggard, "The way I am", "Ain't bad for a good ole boy", "Chug a lug/King of the road" and New Release "Ain't lookin Back". Great show!!!

A night I’ll cherish the rest of our marriage. We took a friend of ours from Milwaukee and he enjoyed it as well. In an industry that is so clouded with inauthentic voices, it is refreshing to experience an authentic singer who actually writes his own music and embraces and uses the voice God gave him. We also enjoyed how he hasn’t forgotten his journey. He mixed in some of his older, hip-hop influenced, songs as well. A gifted musician, and a great concert!

Great show! Is you have the opportunity to go see this band it's worth your time and money. Mr. Crosby still sings very well, and the band he is playing with was great. I don't go to many shows with high expectations but I was excited to see David solo and the show exceeded my expectations for sure. With the Pabst theater no matter where your seat is you know it's gonna be a good one that a bad one in the house. Enjoy

As always the instrumentals were dead on and vocals made you believe you were witness to another point in time when progressive rock bands like Genesis were on the cutting edge of their writing development and stage presentation. The background visuals were done extremely well and complimented the live performance nicely. Another fabulous night with a fantastic band doing music from one if the most memorable bands of the last 60 years.

Felt so personal! It was a great show from start to finish. He made me feel like one of his friends, and not just an audience member. I love the amount of love that he has for his band and crew, as well as his fans. Him and his band are extremely talented. Such a genuine human. Loved it.

I loved it, Hippo Campus & The Districts were amazing. After the show some of the venue staff were very rude and had no regard for the fact that everyone waiting to buy merch was just trying to have a good time and talk with each other about something they all love, but that doesn’t have to do with the performance, which was amazing. It was really cool to be the first show of the tour and both bands were awesome, musically and just personality-wise.
