Very jazzy celebration of Jerry plays Dylan on Bob Dylan’s birthday
Wonderful and surprising, as they did songs that were more Americana style than they normally perform. New member Jackson on the steel and slide guitars. But also played some old favorites too. New Pisgah Brewing venue just opened 3 weeks ago, and we really like it, spacious indoor/outdoor with a great stage!
FANTASTIC!!! High energy show. They played all the songs I wanted and needed to hear. They spent time after the show signing vinyl, taking photos and talking to fans. Can’t wait to see them again!!
Sam talked way too much between songs. After each song it took 3-5 minutes for talking and tuning instruments. I came to hear him play not for dialogue. I just attended the Paul Cauthen concert at the Fillmore in Charlotte, NC and was treated to a bucket list performance from Paul and the entire band! We rocked it from one song right into the next. It was a blast! It was spiritual! It was a life changing! Maybe 200-250 people were there and instead of limping through a performance those guys rocked it! I am still high from that show. But came away disappointed with Sam Bush. Glad to have seen him and Haus but dadjim, that could have been really special for the few hundred people that attended. Bring your own lawn chair also detracted from the event. If you want to sit down and sip a beer why go to concert? A concert gives you the ability to be completely swept off your feet and lost in the music- total bond between band and audience. This show could have been so much more! That said, it did have a definite laid back family groove going on as children ran around and danced which was cool, but I wanted to rock out with one of the greatest —Sam Bush
That man is still killing it..what a showman a true professional...Thanks Sam for another great show!
I always love hearing Andrew play. Tonight was a treat because I heard several songs that were new to me. Andrew's song writer skills just keep getting better.
At one point, he jumped down from the stage and RAN around singing and playing. He is a great showman.
He closed the night with my 'favorite ' Andrew song "Rock N Roll Set Your Soul Free. He got the audience on their feet moving to the music.
Thanks for an evening of good music, happy people, and letting people get up and dance. I felt like I was in my twenties again (which is a real feat in this 70 year old body.) A special thank you for honoring Leon Russell. I saw him many times and love his music so much. Great show Sam.
Jason isbell was outstanding as usual
One hell of a night!!!!!!
Hannah has an amazing voice, a fantastic stage presence, and she can play the guitar like she had invented it! She is lovely inside and out. She's the whole nine yards!
Amazing! Great music (obviously) coupled with good beer, cool venue, and excellent people! Midnight North rocked their full range of showstoppers, including their classics (Miss M), more recently released hits (Under the Lights; Greene County; Everyday; Playing a Poor Hand Well; One Night Stand [🔥]), original Elliott Peck tunes (Silver and Gold), and unexpected covers (Tear My StihllHouse Down [Gillian Welch]; Tumbling Dice [Stones])—all with the Midnight North twist. Great show! 👍
Amazing show. Super great venue
