AS always Maxi Priest IS the BEST! It was amazing concert. Maxi's concerts are always lit!!! So Much Fun.... He is the man with the fun ! Definitely a Party in the House. His talent and voice is unmatched. New KIDZ is a rising star and kept the party going Big Talent, Big UP! We wouldn't let Maxi leave... and if you were there he signed autographs for every one after the concert. I actually got to meet him :) OMG He is so down to earth SO nice and Maxi's is as beautiful inside, as out.
Now to the Webster Theater: Why did you put such a big star like Maxi Considered one of the most successful reggae artist in the world, on the incredibly small stage????? He Is the only Reggae artist to ever Have a #1 hit record and 4 time Grammy nominated artist and you put him and his band on the small stage WHY????
Maxi was so cool about it. MUCH RESPECT A class act but seriously that was not cool!
We arrived early one of the first ones and were up front next to the stage and the stage hands working there told us all to move back and make room for the dance floor? Then some guy got on stage and called everyone up close and all of us who arrived early were stuck in the back.
DJ Hammer that was on stage before the concert kept starting songs and stopping, left all his equipment on stage and they had to clear everything speakers table etc before Maxi could get on stage ?
DO better BRING MAXI BACK Show him the respect he deserves They were handing our flyer/ post cards to everyone for the concert, at the concert. We are inside ,We know Maxi Priest is preforming. The place was packed to the rafters, bring him back to the big stage please
Maxi Priest was great. The location, was not what I expected. The show started at 9:30 instead of 8 like advertised. And the feedback from the mic made some moments difficult. It was my first time at The Webster, and I was clearly unprepared for it. But Maxi was great. He’s spin on his classic made the show fresh.
Citizen Solider completely exceeded my expectations. There were many many tears many hugs and I got to meet the band and talk to all of the members individually. Even got to hug and personally thank Jake for saving my life with so many of his songs. So beyond grateful I had the opportunity to meet the whole band 💜 can’t wait for them to come back to CT 🥹🥹🥹
Sky was OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING! I liked a few songs of hers going into the concert, but seeing her live, seeing what she fights for, for so many women and herself, she made a major fan out of me and I will be at any concert she plays in my area from here on out! So grateful I got to give her my Heavy painting I made her 💜 thank you Sky for saving my life 💜
Great show! Ariel and Shawn brought so much energy to their performance. The Webster is a comfortable venue where you feel really close to the artists. I’m so glad I got this chance. All the artists on the tour had such a positive message to share in very compelling, cathartic music!
He really knows how to throw a concert don’t miss this experience pardy and his buddy’s know how to get the crowed going stay involved heartfelt and preform. If you get a chance definitely go to his concert you will definitely not regret it.
Fit For A King is a perfect way to describe this band. Their music is royalty, but made for everyone. I've seen them live a few times and I plan to do it again. The Webster is made for this band. Big stage, wide-open floor and plenty of amps.
I went to see Fuming Mouth and got a metal line-up worth every penny. Boundaries was amazing and they deserve to be recognized as a legitimate metal band. I always try to catch the openers because they are the hungriest and often times steal the show. The lead singer is what I call a 'Clark Kent'. He appears to be a mild-mannered individual until the music starts. He takes on a 'Superman' like persona and makes you wonder how does it. The concert was loud and full of energy from beginning to end. It made the four hour round trip worth every mile. I'll look to see them again and maybe discover another awesome band to follow. Fuming Mouth and Boundaries would be an incredible dual headliner.
This app lead me to check out Honey Revenge. I knew nothing about them prior to the concert, except for a few audio samples I listened to in here. I was very pleased that I took a chance on this band. They put on a great show. While they do have their own unique style, it shows that Paramore is one of their strong artistic influences. The lead singer definitely does a great job of maintaining a vibe with the crowd. They kept up a high energy level throughout the show, and the crowd participation was awesome. Each musician was quite clearly skilled at playing their respective instrument. This band has filled a void for me since the members of Six Stories Told seem to have gone their separate ways without any explanation. I will definitely make an effort to see Honey Revenge again in January 2024 at Toad's Place in New Haven.
This was my first concert and I really had fun I was with my special friend in my life she knows who she is KJP and any ways it was the best time I ever had because Millyz is my favorite rapper and he put on a great show I will never forget that night and it is one of my favorite times in my life and nothing is ever going to compare to that night and I’m happy that I got to share that with my beautiful special girl in my life
Clutch put on an awesome performance. Neil was a little slow to start but gained momentum and finished strong. The venue is in a sketchy part of town, so I was glad I didn't bring my son. The other two acts were good but didn't have the energy or presence to pump up the crowd. Clutch played nonstop and gave the fans all the hits.
Unfortunately lead singer had something wrong with his voice that he apologized for at the start. Most of the songs he had the crowd sing which I've never been a fan of. Feel like the sax player wasnt playing the sax because the venue had volume problems. Regardless, energy was immaculate and they played some sick tunes
YOU GUYS WERE INSANE
A GOOD 10/10
Ty guys so much for giving convictions more time after there time was cut because of the fire alarm
And the fact that you invited Michael on stage was just incredible
Thats a concert I will never forget
Wolves at the gate and don't even get me started on convictions were both insane!!!!
It was disappointing when someone pulled the fire alarm and convictions time got cut but ty wolves at the gate for letting them play 1 more song and having Michael onstage to sing 1 song with u guys!
Earth groans I've never heard before but they were pretty sick I'm definitely gonna check em put along with discrepancies!
show was amazing i met this fire girl there and got her number and screamed til my fuckin throat was raw and its been 4 days and i still cant feel my toes cus i was jumping around so much. the crowd was great with all the other bands too! i am now a hardcore Volumes fan haha,, singing together while the stage hands set up and crowd surfing and moshing even tho we werent supposed to lmfaooooo but yeah it was fucking great and we were so close to the stage my ears were dead and i would still do it again cus i love these guys so damn much rip tim :'(
Concert was amazing! All the bands were great! Only complaint is regarding the location. Parking was $30! That is ridiculous, considering the price of the concert ticket itself. You pretty much have no choice, because the neighborhood is sketchy and there’s no street parking right near the theater. The theater owns the lot, so they control what people have to pay. I will have to add $30 to the ticket price when I think about the next show there! 🤬
HAM tears it up but I didn’t vibe with the crowd at this show :/ they were all pretty young early high school aged compared to the boston show I went to in november which was amazing. Also like 10 people jumped on stage at one point, i’m pretty sure they messed up the mic and the rest of the set. Overall HAM slaps but I don’t think the venue is great for this kind of show, they didn’t seem well equipped to do the sound how HAM wanted it seemed like and they didn’t address the 13 year olds breaking the mic stand and messing up the mic ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
incredible as always. superet was the best possible pick for an opener and they recognized me afterwards and were so very nice. even though this was idk’s largest headliner, it still felt like an intimate experience and that’s what makes seeing them live so special even after seeing them so many times.
This was one of the greatest concerts I have ever been to. Being a fan of PATD! I am obsessed with idk how and was out of my mind happy that I was able to attend this concert. The energy of the crowd and how interactive it was was insane. I highly recommend going and seeing them, and hope to go to more shows.
The Plot in you was the best performing group like the last time they played in Hartford. The sound guys sucked and made every performance a bit poor, not being able to balance everything out. But still The Plot In You was the best one in the whole night.
