Super fun and energetic!! Had a minor problem while waiting in line near the end but hey man, still an awesome show! If ur thinking about taking kids be aware it’s so loud, packed and it’s def overstimulating for a child if they don’t like that kind of thing. I went with a group, got covered in soda and the crowd was energetic! Totally would go again.
One of the best shows I’ve been to! They really give it their all on the stage— it was so awesome!! I need to see them again. The venue sucked tho. The carpet reeked and security was super aggressive.
Gary was timeless and of all time. Energetic, anthemic performances dominated the set. I'm so glad I went to our Sunshine Theater to hang out with this icon. Only regrets are that Persia did not come out to sing My Name is Ruin. I saw her in the wings!
Wonderful show!!! Got to meet the guys from Colorblind and Nerv after their sets. SO glad when bands like this come through Albuquerque. We don’t get many shows/tours through here, so when bands like these come to one of our small venues, it’s really special. We had a great time! 10 out of 10 for sure.
Machine Head rocks! I've loved these guys for years and the pit at Sunshine was pretty good. Metal bands love ABQ because we have the best pits, and I think the band saw that! Thanks for coming thru!
Imminence never fails to deliver an intense, cinematic experience that pulls you in from the first note. Their emotional range, stage presence, and overall production create a performance that feels more like a story unfolding than just a setlist. Seeing them live is always a reminder of why they're such a standout in the scene.
That said, the venue struggled with balancing the mix. At times, the vocals were overwhelmed by the sheer force of the instruments, making it hard to catch the emotional nuance that Imminence is known for. It's a recurring issue that doesn't reflect the band's performance quality, but it does impact the full experience.
Despite the sound hiccups, Imminence delivered with power and passion-and for fans, that alone makes the night worth it.
Long time fan. Great concert. Wish I could have heard more of his hits in full. The show is more a an amalgam of all of his songs and the best ones play for a lead in to a newer song. Got to hear 30 seconds of my faves. Rosie / organ donor etc. Hope he comes back to do an anniversary of Preemptive Strike / Introducing or something like that…
The show was incredible. I was looking forward to this show since tickets were made available back in march. This was my first concert and I am so glad I went. All the performances were amazing. I can’t wait till they come back around.
The concert was awesome! I had a lot of fun and I would definitely go to another of their concerts. The only issue was that the venue only took cash for bottled drinks and you had to stand the entire concert if you were in the pit. Other than that the concert was great and I hope that Citizen Soldier comes back for another concert soon!
Collie Buddz puts on a great show!! This venue though is terrible!! Only 2 bathroom stalls for the whole place (for women) so it was at least a 30 minute wait every time!! I’d love to see him at Revel or really just anywhere else.
The show was great! They played many favorites, and the effects were neat. One star off because the introduction band took almost an hour, and because Sunshine Theater had standing room only (mosh pit) for people under 21. Other than that, lovely experience, I'd see Portugal. The Man again for sure.
Great show! Both Havok and In Flames were awesome. Havok only played about 35 minutes . Would have been great to hear more.
Only thing is, sound at the Sunshine sounds like a giant amplifier that somebody threw a blanket over. It’s always muffled. Maybe it’s the sound guy, the acoustics, don’t know. Launchpad always sounds better but would have been too small.
Will definitely see this band again next time through.
Best concert I've been to in Albuquerque!!! Sunshine is a really awesome venue. Beautiful theater with space for mashing and crowd surfing. Ben Quad shredded to start off the show. Great small band with tons of potential. Cliffdiver got everyone hyped with amazing vocals and a crazy 🎷 and screamer. Then Hot Mulligan shook the theater walls. Everyone belted out the lyrics to every song with a wave of screaming and jumping fans loving every minute. This night is locked into my mind like a picture!!
Hands down best show I've ever been to I've been listening to grandson since 2018 and seeing him live was fantastic I had never listened to k. Flay before going to this and her performance was just as amazing as grandson's and I would happily see her separate from him as well as with him DEWAYNE's performance was amazing as well and I can't wait until he blows up as I see great potential in his music by far the best concert I've been to and I will definitely see them again the next time they come to town
Amazing, great performance, get interaction with the crowd, they were there to have a good time and share that with us. Shoutout Slow joy and downward, great sets out of both openers, can’t wait to hear more from them.
Best concert since Allman Betts in Santa Fe...this kid is unbelievable. Any aspect of his talent is only multiple by his band and the crowd. Wow. It all I can say. I had great expectations and 3 hours later I could hardly breathe from the joy that was spewing out of me, everyone. Marcus King. Has a place in history. Good job son
Great show. Just wish the security was more organized in getting people into the show. They also let alot of people cut in front of line because they were going to let them through bar and buy a drink first. Not cool to loyal fans waiting for hours outside the venue under 21.
Amazing as usual! The lights and stage set up this tour is unbelievable. The whole ambience was magical. Freaking love this band.
Only downfall was the opener. I had to work to get myself back into the spirit after listening to them. Awful
