People who may not know Zayn, Well you need to know because out of the ID band, Zayn was the guy with the most amazing vocals. Went to his ONO, and he did not disappoint. It was AWESOME. His live singing ability is PHENOMINAL. The show was amazing.
I heard Thomas was going to perform one of his albums, start to finish.
But fortunately he performed his favourites, which pretty much align with mine!
An excellent show, and quite the celebration of his music over the years, a real treat for his fans for sure.
My only criticism is of the venue. The seating / view can be quite poor depending on which tickets you get, but other than that a nice place with good bars / toilet facilities...
The energy, passion, love, humour, talent of the musicians and just sheer joy at every single Rend Collective concert will never stop to amaze me and you walk out like I’ve just been part of a large family concert! Great acoustics, and didn’t need to use my ear plugs. Although the stage isn’t massive, the lights created a fab effect that went well with the campfire at the centre front (for their Campfire Album 10th anniversary); it was great to see them support Chris Rendeza from Tennessee (first time in London!).
Whether you’re a Christian or not, you come a way feeling uplifted, encouraged, empowered, restored and healed emotionally and filled with peace.
Venue: easy to find, close enough to Shepherd’s Bush.. we were seated in unreserved seating area on Level 3, seats are like benches and only about 40 cm deep! Plus it’s fairly high up, and if you sit in the first 7-8 rows you have the bannister in the line of view. We couldn’t stand up much (we did anyway) but it’s really tight, and hardly any space to go past people. We were told no water bottles in (there was a raffle system) and they charged £3.40 for a 500ml water without a lid, but could ask for tap water. Lots of stairs, only 2 toilets for women on each level but they work well if you don’t mind waiting a little. Overall I would book again, A joyful experience altogether!
The performance was spectacular, but the inside venue staff was a disappointing shit show! They seemed unprofessional, & were completely out of line with how outside security had prepped us for how the doors opening process would be for the O2 line que. I was in line at 14:00, five hours before the listed doors time. My friends & I were the first people there & began the regular line. Security then informed us the O2 que line would be admitted first before the regular standing general admission line, so two groups of us changed to that line as we had O2 phone verification. What we had been told & how security organized us, never happened & at 19:03 all the doors opened at once. We never would’ve switched lines had we known. We should’ve been at the center of the very front inside the venue but instead were off to the sides because the standing GA line had a more direct path to the stairs & got down before we could. It is massively unacceptable that this happened! When I asked an inside security supervisor about it, she told me “we always open all the doors at the same time”. I hope this review gets to someone with the power to influence the entire O2 Shepards Bush staff, inside & out, about how terrible their lack of internal communication at this otherwise marvelous event was!!
OMG what a fantastic show they never disappoint I waited for 2 hours to get to the front I’m a fan of sons of Apollo so Mike and Billy are awsome as so Richie kotzen amazing guitar player also their support act james jules Nichols was 11/10
The only negative is I have a ticket for sons of Apollo that’s never happened for 2 years ago so how come 2 members are here in the uk ?!
Great show! I’m a huge Mike Portnoy fan, I’ll watch any band he’s in as he’s got the musical Midas touch. Already seen him with The Neal Morse Band and Sons of Apollo.
The Winery Dogs didn’t disappoint either. Arse-kicking hard rock tunes with a world-class rhythm section…but my goodness, I was not prepared for the brilliance from Mr Ritchie Kotzen…what a killer guitarist and a soulful rock vocalist! Solo after face-melting solo.
Top marks from me!
WOW! AMAZING show! 4 of us traveled from Chicago, IL USA for this concert and it was truly worth the effort! Haircut One Hundred sounded incredible! Our only regret was the the show had to end, otherwise we'd still be there dancing to their amazing music! Can't wait for some new music and possible tour.
Nice main consert and very help ful staff, but the opening band to polyphia was not that good and played forever.
Polyphia was awesome 💗
Would also like to have more info on when it started. 7 pm was not when they started to play, and I could not easily find any info on it. If it says 7 pm on a musical ticket, it starts at 7 pm, not 9 pm
It was sad to see Roy looking so frail. It feels like he is being used by his management to make money. I've see him live before at the Jazz Cafe and it was a much better experience. They walked him out and perched him on a chair- where he sat looking a bit confused- bless him. The singer wasn't brilliant and they could have used a female backing singer to add some flavour. It was so sad- he shouldn't have been there.
The venue was old and unloved, over priced drinks and no air. The toilets were dirty and obviously too few women's ones!
Jacob Banks as always was amazing🤩🤩!! The opening act was nice too. The lighting was great too! Definitely recommend seeing Jacob live - very interactive with the crowd - and the band were great 🤩. Can’t wait for his next UK date! Easy to find the venue from the underground station as I’m from outside of London.
Songs and vibes were amazingggg, they are so talented but probably should’ve been at least a 16+ event, the songs and the vibes were not for kids and I think because the kids were there they didn’t put on as much of a show as they do usually
In a small intimate venue packed with all his Londonian Latino fans, Juanes was in his element. A well rehearsed show had the crowd jumping up and down to songs old and new. Full of soul, this comcert was like a big messy South American family gathering!
The most amazing experience since ages for me. Jerry was in great shape and the songs in the setlist were awesome. The right mix from every his and AiC album. I missed See of sorrow, but I got Bleed the Freak and Got me wrong, which made my night. Thanks for all the fun, Jerry. I love you 🤘🏻
Whas ok I expected more for a ticket that costs £41 with nearly £10 of that in fees. Also o2 are now charging £7 a pint! That was flat and not very cold, I complained and got another weaker beer also flat and Cold.
AND THE SOUND WASNT GREAT EAITHER.
Luckily I have managed to see the band several times in the UK in the past, this time was special as I was there with my son, who likes the albums, but was not sure about travelling to London, from North Wales for one gig, he was blown away though & still tells his friends, if they ever come back to the UK "JUST GO"
I find it annoying, the band did a short gig (90 mins) & played 2 annoying cover versions of other bands, they have a brilliant & unique back catalogue, still a five-star review, but ditch the cover versions, I paid for a ticket to hear YOUR music !
My first ever concert and i had the time of my life.I discovered Eric through his podcasts and then music and they’re uplifting.Just started mindset and i feel safe.Definitely recommend going to his concerts, he’s very down to earth with his fans and despite not knowing all the lyrics/songs i had so much fun!
He is also very hot.
Still buzzing 3 days later! These boys don’t disappoint! The crowd was amazing and the love for The Dead South was overflowing! Blue Trash Cousins are the best! The venue was perfect, the staff really polite and friendly. The drinks are a little pricey but even that didn’t dampen the mood! Can’t wait now for The Blackdeer Festival!
Palaye and Counterfeit were INCREDIBLE as always. This is not my first Palaye Royale concert and certainly not my last (i'm going to 4 more just om this tour) I came all the way from Germany just to see them live again. This was probably the best of their concerts i've evee been to and that says something. I was buried under Rockstars, saw Remington hang headfirst from the railing, and jumped so much i lost my contact lenses. I saw two of my favorite bands in the same night.
Also the venue was incredible. The venue is not only beautiful but also really well ventelated. This wastge first concert ever where i never felt like i had to little oxygen and the temperature was always pleasant. The security was really helpful and gave as water during EVERY song.
Thank you so much!
Heaven 17 and the Shepherds Bush Empire must be a match made in errrŕ well Heaven. Glenn Gregory is such a talented entertainer and the whole Band is brilliant. Still had Temptation ringing through my head. If you feel crushed by the wheels of industry, go see H7, its a great way to unwind.
