Soo awesome! Great set list that brought so much energy throughout the whole performance. Didn’t know AJ had so much endurance to scream like that. Great talent from him and the core of the band. RED has a bright future, we hope they don’t let up but keep writing for many years to come.

This show felt like chillin in the living room at a house party. It was amazing and I loved the intimacy of such a small venue. All while giving an acoustic performance with strong raw vocals while mixing their old and new songs throughout their performance. The members were even willing to stay behind and sign autographs after the show without any extra fanfare, they did it just for their fans rather than for profit and I love how much they cared about their fans rather than just profit and paid upgrades. <3

Been listening to them since high school when they started. Instantly fell in love with them. Seeing them live so up close was a dream come true. My husband never listened to them a day in his life and he became a fan because of how real the show felt and he was very impressed that there was no lip syncing and everyone was actually playing (duh lol) Devin has such a beautiful voice and the whole band killed it!! Hope to see them again and maybe a meet and greet!

This show saved my life in the most literal sense. Im so thankful to have had the ability to see them tour again the crowd, sound, energy, and music was absolutely amazing. I've seen almost every concert, every band but they put on the absolute best show I've ever been to. THANK YOU!

I went to both the Oklahoma City tour date at Beer City, and the Scout Bar in Houston, and there’s something special about seeing Upon a Burning Body in the state of Texas. The energy was next level, the atmosphere, crowd interaction, sound, and venue were incredible. Openers Lockjaw warmed up the crowd with their driving brand of Texas Metal, followed by the electronic metal band The Browning who literally had the crowd jumping with hit after hit! Once UABB hit the stage with their signature brand of Texas Style Metal incorporating hits “Sin City” and “Texas Blood Money” with standouts from their new release “Blood of the Bull”, the show was a Texas style song-a-long Metal masterpiece!

They were so good live. I saw them with thrown once before in the beginning of 2025 and it was an enjoyable show. But they have gotten so much better live. Naz’s vocals are insane. And they came out after the show and did meet and greets, signed stuff. Handed out free posters and stickers. They were all incredibly sweet and took photos with us. I will never skip a chance to see them live in Texas

I enjoyed the concert as a whole. I didn’t know the first three bands, but I liked the second band that played. Emery did an awesome job presenting their acclaimed album, The Question. They took command of the stage from the very beginning and played a few extra of their hits. Incredible energy from those guys. The venue was small and intimate which was cool, but it got pretty hot and humid around the middle of the sets in there.

By far one of the best bands to see live, ever. Everything from the band’s sound, to their stage presence, is grade A, top notch, pristine. If you ever wanna see the entire room come alive and have the best time in a crowd during a show, then attend an Islander show. Why this band hasn’t blown the heck up, is beyond me. If ever Islander comes into Texas, or the surrounding states, you can b*t we’ll be there.

Amazing live performance! Missio has the ability to write lyrics that are profound and can tap into exactly what we are thinking and feeling. Get ready to be on your feet with middle fingers in the air. A rebellious lot that also isn’t afraid to look deep and lets us know we are all going to be alright. Highly recommended. Layto was the opener and in his own right extraordinary.

It was a really fun show! I enjoyed the sound and performance from every band. Angelmaker had to pause their set near the end because of a person who had a seizure but they continued playing after all of that was dealt with. Loved it (P.S, Reflections was my favorite of the night 😊)

I’ve seen Metal Church many times over the years starting in 1987. They’ve never disappointed & this night was no exception! After the tragic loss of vocalist Mike Howe in 2021, founding member/guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof & company chose to soldier on with this year’s excellent LP , Congregation of Annihilation. New vocalist Marc Lopes combines the best of all previous Metal Church vocalists with his own unique touch. This was most evident when he was belting out Metal Church classics originally sung by the late David Wayne such as “Start The Fire”, “Beyond The Black” & the epic “Watch The Children Pray” The setlist also included a nod to the aforementioned Mike Howe era with faithful renditions of “Fake Healer” & “Badlands” from 1989’s Blessing In Disguise. For myself, the highlight of the evening was an explosive performance of one of my very favorite tracks from the eponymous debut, “Hitman” which I had never heard live before. This incredible night of metal mastery was capped off by two Metal Church classics “Beyond The Black” & “Metal Church” the song. Do not miss this tour if it comes to a venue near you. It’s a metal purity at its finest! 🔊🤘🏼

It was absolutely phenomenal!!! I have been a fan since the beginning I'm one of his biggest fans I love you scooter. Thank you for getting me through the most of the times when I needed music to help process a part of like and then let it go. Marty Friedman's band is so good! They're both technically talented and amazing showmen (and showwomen?). After they finished, I literally asked how Queensryche could top that. Turns out they couldn't this night. Michael Wilton and the promoter came out and announced that Todd LaTorre's voice was gone from being sick, and they were going to reschedule the performance. The 2.5 hour drive was still worth it just for Marty Friedman's band. They should have just let them play another 30 minutes.

Another great, intimate venue, with not a bad seat in the house (though we were standing at the front, stage right). This would be our 3rd time seeing Soen, back to back nights and this time with a meet and greet. The guys were very personable and open and willing to listen or do the talking themselves, whatever worked for the fans. Great time before the show, and that show.. Awesome! I cannot get over how great this band sounds live. Their musicianship is astounding and Joel's voice was on point for 3 nights in a row. I don't know how he does it. Standing literally 5 feet from where Martin was sitting, slamming out the beats, gave me a much deeper appreciation of just how skilled and emotive a drummer he is. Zlatoyar, the newest addition to this formidable lineup showed extraordinary prowess on laying down the bass. His opening to their (not so secret) Tool style song was fun and special. Cody was on point as well. He's such a talent and thoroughly enjoys what he's doing and conveys that to the audience effortlessly. The workhorse of Soen, their guitarist & keyboardist is Lars. Lars is a thrilling talent to behold. Laying down an imperative on the keys and then literally jumping up to play a blistering lead, this guy is nonstop and gives Soen a jolt like no other. They are all immensely talented and earnestly friendly with their fans. What a way to finish out following these guys around Texas!

Absolutely AMAZING!!! Before the show I randomly saw Taylor Barber and was able to get a pic with him! He’s always such a chill guy!! Left to Suffer has always been one of my FAVORITE band— especially live!! I had not heard a lot of music from The Dialect, Iron Code, or Second Wind before the show but they all had great energy and I enjoyed their sets!! I am definitely going to add them to some of my playlists!!! UABB is one of my sis-in-law’s FAVs… they KILLED IT! We can’t wait til the next one! Work has been insane.. unfortunately our patients have been super sick/high acuity which makes for a very stressful and busy shift… my soul desperately needed this heavy/dirty a*s/aggressively high energy show!! I also ran into one of my previous patients at the show!! It was nice to see him healthy and happy— OUTSIDE of the hospital! It was the first time that I got to jam out with one of my patients and I love that it was at such a heavy and empowering show!!

Every time I get to see Davey and the crew it's always a good time. The set was rocking, the support kicked a*s, and the people in the crowd were some of the best. The reimagined version of "Only Human" was absolutely perfect! Davey, your music, along with two of my friends, helped me get through the roughest period of my life. The respect and honor that you show me every time we talk is unmatched. Hopefully next time I'll get to see you a little closer to home. Until then, keep on killing it, cuz ROCK AIN'T DEAD!

My gf and her dad were fans of Michael Angelo already and she even purchased a master class ticket for him (which he loved btw)but I was basically a tag along with them. I wasn't to familiar with his work but I was blown away by the end. New fan here.

FLAW never dissapoints at their live shows. This was my 3rd time seeing them in Houston this year. Chris, Rob, Tommy, and Georges are very approachable and interact with their fans one on one often. One of my favorite parts of the show is when they all get to take the limelight individually to showcase their skills.

It was a very good show! Sons of Texas never disappoint and the opening bands, Never Buried (McAllen, TX), Calling Chase (Houston), Torrid Complex (local) and Twelve Years Driven (Houston) did very well. TYD was very sharp and their set list was filled with some heavy bangers from throughout their few EPs they’ve put out such as “Victim”, “Stitches”, “jclsd20” & “Invisible Me”. Never Buried performed a few tracks from an EP they put out last year such as “Enigma” and “Icarus Complex” and seem to have a lot of potential coming out of the Rio Grande Valley just like the guys in Sons of Texas. Speaking of Sons of Texas, these guys, already a nationally recognized name, are quickly becoming polished as a live act. I’ve seen them only a few short times and each time, I’m more and more impressed! They started the show with “The Vestrymen” and played other standouts like “Baptized In the Rio Grande”, “Beneath The Riverbed” and “Texas Trim” and ended the night with a collaboration with the lead singer of Never Buried covering Pantera’s “I’m Broken” which was amazing! My only complaint was it was the day before Mother’s Day and I felt like they could have performed the single “September” which is a lighter song but that I think a lot of the ladies and mothers would have appreciated but all in all? Very good awesome show! 4.5 out of 5

As always, Doug, Ty & Jerry were absolutely sublime! I have been going to their shows consistently for the past 30 years and I am proud to say they claim H-town as home. They are absolutely part of the soundtrack of my life. Can’t wait to see them again!!
