I've seen Bach about a dozen times, both with SR and solo, and as you know, always a great performer could be a bit of a lightning rod. However, I do side with him when SR eventually had the big blow up and split over him accepting opening for KISS reunion tour and rest of band disagreed, saying they are not an opener but a headliner. Band was wrong (at least based on what I understand about what happened. Apologies if not accurate). Anyway, he's now cleaned things up and awesome as always on stage. Personable, engaging, funny and of course entertaining but his voice is still solid. Still one of the better voices for his age, 56. And he can still move somewhat well. His mom and brother and family at the show, awesome! He gave a nice sincere shoutout to Ottawa crowd. It was overall a great experience. Totally worth the $55.

Sean Daegher got us off to a fabulous start. The crowd was excited and singing along, the vibe was amazing. Then the Johns came on and it was awful. The sound was cranked so loud it killed the vibe. All we could do was cringe and try to enjoy. My guests were wincing and I could see they were miserable. I tried moving around to the front, the back, the middle but there was no escape. You could barely hear the words, you certainly couldn't sing along. Could barely think, except mentally begging to make it stop. Nine months of excited anticipation killed by an ear bleeding sound setting. Everyone taking breathers in the bathroom were complaining as well. I spent all night trying to sleep but was so angry and was wishing we had staged a mutiny and gotten them to turn it down to the excellent levels used for Sean.

It was raining heavily outside, event security could have let people enter in waiting area, and could have checked the tickets there rather than let people get drenched in rain. Prateek as expected was good, sound and lights were good. Other than initial issues with security overall event was amazing.
