Unfortunately, I never received the VIP email so I missed that part of the concert.
The manager was able arrange a Q/A with Sasha and photo opportunity.
I feel disappointed that I was able to enjoy the benefits and VIP to other venues is unavailable. Hopefully, next time things will workout.
The show was great. She can carry songs alone with her vocals and guitar playing. Some songs really bring out the best in her. She usually does a few unreleased songs which satisfies the crowd. But her interaction with the crowd makes you feel like you’re watching your good friend perform. It’s a very relaxed and intimate experience. Seen her solo 3 times and never disappoints.
Great show! Great people! Great bands! Weakened Friends was a great opening act! Great energy and extremely solid band. Check them out.
Highly Suspect was on fire! Story telling, fantastic energy, clear mastery. The band played their new album top to bottom and it was a journey. All of the tracks were great live from high energy, to a somber, thoughtful ballad. They sing and play together very well. Often 2 or 3 guitars, a bass and drums playing together with keys in the mix too. Drumming was on point. I really like that the rhythm second are so tight -- brothers in fact. Johnny Stevens once again proved he is an excellent guitarist and a musical powerhouse. More than anything, I appreciated that they clearly appreciated the audience.
I LOVE THE MIDDLE KIDS!!! I was able to surprise my wife who is a HUGE FAN with seeing them live on her birthday. It was the best experience ever. We have seen them perform twice now and we look forward to seeing many more performances. We also got a treat, which was taking pictures with one of the band members who is sooo down to earth and loves his fans. Thank you Harry Day for making this day special for my wife SKY! You’re the BEST. LOVE YOU ALL!!!!
I went into this show virtually blind. I had heard one song in the past and wasn’t a fan. My girlfriend is a huge fan, so I went with her and I’m so glad I did. I found myself absolutely lost in the music in a way I haven’t felt in a long time. I have no idea what the lyrics were and I don’t even care. The overall atmosphere was totally hypnotic. There were multiple occasions I found myself forgetting that other people were there. It was just such an ethereal experience. I plan on watching for more tour announcements in the future.
One of the best concerts I’ve been to in my life. He mentioned it was the smallest turnout of the whole tour, which broke my heart to hear, but executed a wholesome intimate show perfectly. His music has always been so meaningful to me and it was beautiful to sing along with a crowd that felt the same. I highly recommend seeing Powfu and his friends on tour if you get the chance!
I had a great time. Dogstar sound was so good. I didn’t know what to expect but I can say I was not disappointed. Everyone at the venue was visibly enjoying the music and loving the environment. The venue was perfect. These musicians rocked! This was my first time hearing Dogstar 🎶 🤘
Maya is really pretty cool as music artist. she has that young blood attitude and on-stage persona. It shows from her performance. when she asked audience for something so that she and band can come up with new song on the spot was very very cool & exciting. it was great.
also, I really like how she has more of indie lyricism and yet has elements of experimental, and underground/industrial or some kind of edgy shoegaze/post-rock vibe.. I wasn’t expecting that and was so so surprised to see it. Really loved it.
also, she is great with audience. Feels like she is talking to friends. very humble too.
The band she has is super-talented as well. when one of the guy (i think his name was benjamin, don’t remember properly now, Lol) started playing with metal ladder and something on stage it was so fun.
Fans were so happy & bubbly throughout the show. Loved every minute of it all.
i fucking love these guys. they really know how to work a crowd and are absolute naturals on stage; i also met them selling merch after their set and talked for a bit. great artists & people :) i saw them open for pup in burlington vt and knew i had to see them again, i’ll fs be buying tickets when they come back in january
Tamino is one of the best artists to appear in the last decade. It’s very rare to witness an artist that stops you dead in your tracks, instantly burns away the madness in the world, and brings a spaciousness that is so sacred, soulful and astonishingly worthy.
This performance tonight, by Tamino, is the moment in between that we all wait for, or rather that— I had been waiting for in a very long time. He had us burning, like Roman candles in the night. He is an artist that comes from the echoes of the heart, poetry, the unspeakable, stringed instruments, and the ballet of song uncovering a nature, a voice, so soulful it that it fills the echoes of eternity.
i think my soul exited my body during british bombs. literally so much energy and he’s such a great performer. even as someone who doesn’t know a ton of his songs i had so much fun. the venue was great too. ALSO THE OPENER 😍😍 annie siri’s so if you see this i love you and immediately downloaded your music after the show ❤️❤️
I’ve been listening to Amber some middle school she has such a wonderful personality and the intimate venue really allowed her personality to shine. The concert was amazing! I went with one of my best friends it was her first concert and she doesn’t really listen to Amber but she absolutely loved it! We even made a few friends before/during the concert also the staff and band were also wonderful! What a night!🤩
Also s/o to the guy selling merch he was lit
I have heard their studio albums, I have heard their live albums, and I was looking forward to a good concert after a long pandemic with limited live music. I honestly was not prepared for how awesome this show was - it completely surpassed all expectations. Every member of the band (and the Clementines) was oozing talent and they each made sure you got a full dose of what they could do individually and together - multiple times. The show was intense from the first couple songs and left me wondering where they could possibly go after such a dramatic shift, could they possibly reach a higher gear? The answer was yes, they brought us up, down and everywhere in between - these are musicians that truly love what they do and they looked like they were having as much fun playing as we were listening to them. Can't wait to see them again.
It was my first concert since the pandemic and Blu is absolutely amazing. So many words I can describe, nothing short of amazing, magical, and a memorable night. I can’t wait to see her again. I even had the chance to meet her which was amazing! Definitely recommend checking out her music
Great show I love it so much as my first ever
concert I loved it I’ve been watching vanoss for 5 years now and it was just amazing to be able to be apart of his first show here :) I met so much people who loved him as well for the same reason for his music and videos hope he comes down here again!!!
The vibe was amazing!!! Phum and his band were just breathtaking!! At one point Phum needed a water brake and his bassist beat boxer, and the pianist joined, it was insane. After they had left everyone chanted “Phum! Phum! Phum!” Until they finally came back out. I would 100% see him again!
I’ve Seen Kiana Lede Three Times As an Opening Act, But Kiana Lede As A Headliner Is A Force To Be Reckoned With! After Her First Song The Love The Audience Showed For Her Was Almost Overwhelming, But She Took It All In And Then Rocked Out! Her Duet With The Opener Blackway Was Oh So Dope! Kiana Just Went Hit After Hit , And The Only Thing That Would Have Made It Six Stars Was If She Would Have Done A Couple Of Songs For An Encore! I Love Kiana Lede!
I have seen BPF a dozen times in their adopted home state of Texas. With the opportunity to see them in NYC, I was curious to witness how others react to this truly dynamic duo. Kevin & Eric consistently give the highest octane live performances of any hard blues act today, & Wednesday night in Brooklyn was especially incendiary. Black Pistol Fire never fail to deliver.
Playing with all six strings
Last night I attended an awesome show at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. Great tiny venue with good sight lines everywhere. The openers Grady and Valley Queen were great. I was really impressed with Valley Queen. Maybe someday soon they can join The Wild Reeds up to Newport I think they’d fit right in. The way they ended their set by bringing out the ladies Kinsey, Mackenzie, and Sharon was very Newport-like. Even if Sharon has to stand on her tippy toes to reach the mic.
The main show did not disappoint. Their new album is amazing and they sounded so so good. They played some older songs, including my personal favorite “Only Songs”. Watching Sharon play that is spellbinding. Like Gretchen trying to make “fetch” happen I’ve been trying to make the dual hash tags #sharonsilva #rockcrush happen, without about the same success. They also let the boys go back stage while the women took over the for a powerful mini-set. Very intimate feel. One you have to see in person.
So please please if you’re able to catch them as they tour do not pass go, do not collect $200. Head straight for the show. And whatever you do, don’t yell out “we love you”. They won’t be returning the favor.
I drove to this show on a half of a day's worth of a whim and right after band practice into bad weather. Everything about this show was worth that. The band was playing when I arrived so my heart was racing as I struggled to get my bearings together after security check and ticket check. The sound and lights were perfect, this tour stop didnt have such a stupid excess of smoke/fog machine so I was able to see everything. It was a wonderful show and if you miss out or dismiss blaqk audio next time they play your city
You've
Fucked
Up.
Nothing beats dancing away your problems and stress, especially when it's amazing music. Many years of love for blaqk audio and that love continues to grow. ♡
