The Garden is one of my favorite bands of all time, and are incredible to see live, but the vibe of this show was just off, mainly due to the fact that they were sandwiched between Drain and Knocked Loose. The weird blend of Garden fans and hardcore kids just made for a strange crowd that lacked the energy of when I've seen Garden headline their own shows. The band still crushed it, though, and delivered on their brand of jester shenanigans as always.
Where to begin, my 11 yr old son and I have been following Kim Ds career for awhile now, seen him live five times and it's amazing to watch him come into his own as a young and very talented artist. His show is amazing, his voice is crazy and creepy and then you speak to him and he is the most soft spoken young man, yes, I am an older fan but what got us hooked was the jamming to something a lil hard and then here comes the horns. He is a new and refreshing artist that I hope does big big things
MJ played warmup for ZZTop. He was dead on. Good energy and very tasty chops. It takes balls to do a 2 man set but they lacked nothing. Nothing but a good mix, that is. The lack of 5 star rating is attributable to the house, not the performers. I will go see them again when the opportunity presents.
Band was amazing. The other concert goers were insufferable bros talking about time signatures and how they were true fans and not there for the "hits" like everyone else. Goooood lord, get over yourselves, can't we all just listen to the music and let it take us higher? So yeah it's that vibe, but worth it to see and hear the absolutely on fire Mars Volta.
We Also Have Eras Tour, was a fun ride. These guys are so clever, lighthearted, funny and talented. Included sketches outlining their band timeline and album highlights. Unlike any concert I've ever seen.
Our Columbus experience featured a local horn trio on a few songs. Joe Pisapia (old member) even made an appearance!
Packed venue!
8:35pm - 11:30pm show, with 15 minute intermission. No opener
Always a great show and they always sound good. Zoso really makes you feel like you’re seeing the real LZ. I think I’ve seen them about twenty times, try to never miss them when in town. The Newport is a much better place to see them than Kemba. What was the deal with the seating?? It was jammed packed together that I had to go and stand by the bar four songs in. Otherwise, a great night.
One of the best concerts I’ve been too. When the tour was announced I was of course excited cause BVB but when I realized after hearing the temple of love cover they did with VV i knew exactly who VV was…the ex singer of the band HIM. I never thought I would see now VV live since HIM broke up right when I was discovering them. Since discovering the band they became the band I listen to when I’m not feeling well cause VV voice is deep let soothing. His voice translates really well live. I’ve become kinda obsessed with VV/HIM since the concert and can’t stop listening. Every band preformed really well even have a new band to obsess over.. Dark Devine.
The show was amazing. INK puts on a killer show like no one else. The crowd was so hyped and Spencer and the rest of the band are so engaged with fans. The venue was great too. There was confusion at the line at the beginning as to where it should begin for GA, but the security team made sure those of us that were there first got in first.
boygenius is an incredible band with absolutely electric energy. the whole show was amazing. lucy had a concussion and could have easily cancelled but the show went on. as a festival re:set was kinda disappointing, i would have much preferred to see just boygenius and maybe one opener. it was apparent that the crowds were there for only them. still a 5 star concert experience, if you only count their set. clario, djon, and bartees werent bad, it wad just the wrong energy.
Decent show. Haven't really listened to a lot since In Keeping Secrets... so I wasn't familiar with a ton of the new stuff, but it was still a decent show.
Not a huge fan of the layout of Kemba and how packed in tight it felt.
As an aside, if a venue's going to have non-sloped, flat floors, they need to have zones based on height so us shortstacks can see the stage...
Phenomenal show! Probably the best Parkway Drive show we have seen! We had meet and greet and the band is so nice! Great energy from the band on stage. Every song was a banger! One of the top fun and memorable shows we have ever seen and we go to a lot of shows and festivals in the US. Parkway Drive needs to headline a festival with full pyro, fire and fireworks like they do in Europe! Bring it on! 🤘
Bands were great sound was great. The ppl however well let's just say security did nothing to stop drunk ppl from smooshing and pushing older ppl and woman infront of the sound booth. Was there early to grab a good spot not in the pit but infront of the soundboard and was around some of the most inconsiderate ppl ever that were trying to fight the whole time. Not sure I will attend this venue again, at least on the inside.
Every band fucking killed it. Kyle sounds incredible live as always. The boys in Shadow of Intent have incredible songwriting and never disappoint. Whitechapel always crushes it, and the heart-touching Hickory Creek is wondeful live. As I Lay Dying has been a staple metalcore act for years, and with the fill-ins (big shout out to those guys) they made it a kick ass show. It was nice seeing Tim being humble about coming back to the music scene.
one of the cutest most wholesome bands i have ever had the pleasure of seeing. you can really tell that these are just a couple of kids with a lot of talent and love for music. they are also hilarious—when their opener cancelled they put cole in a cape and said he was buffy and dj slayer. cole was not a good dj by any means but it was fun and felt like we were in on some inside joke. anyway they say they’re coming back and i will definitely buy tix again.
first show back after 1 year 7 months and 27 days. let me tell u it did not disappoint. i wasnt even a huge fan and it was one of the best shows i have been to. glass animals have a small band feel in a big venue. you can tell that dave is genuinely having the time of his life on stage. i couldnt stop smiling
It was my first concert and it was amazing. At one point in the show I blew a kiss to Zach and he blew one back. It sounds far fetched but right directly after I blew it he blew on it my direction so I like to think it was for me ❤️ these boys light up my life so much especially right now
Static X and Raven Black were the best parts. I enjoyed W13 but there set was a bit weak. Mushroomhead was okay but the real star of their show is Jackie Laponza who sadly is only present during 2 songs. Raven Black opened with a great start and Static closed with a fantastic tribute to Wayne. This venue was also ridiculously hot. Half way through the show someone finally realized it would be a good idea to open the doors to let fresh air inside. Security and Staff members were rude at the end of the show. They were constantly attempting to push the audience out almost immediately after the show was over unless you were buying merchandise. Even still they were trying to deter people from doing that. Not a fan of the staff or the temperature control. You also are NOT allowed to renter which was frustrating as I desperately wanted to step outside for some air.
She did soo well it’s been so long since she’d come out I’m proud of her! I am sad she did not do a meet and greet but I know she’s more anxious about that stuff. I sadly was stuck behind the worlds tallest dad who continuously moved his head everytime I moved and blocked the entire stage when he would take pictures😒 and kids that were jumping on each other’s back blocking the only section I could see .
Was an incredible show. Got there at 9am to be in front of line. We were only 3 rows back. (VIP were the only ones in front of us) Kydd the band was someone I never heard of but he did a good job of entertaining. Nf is in a class of his own though. He put on the best show possible.
