You go to a Yebba gig for the outstanding vocals and backing vocals, and for a more intimate experience. Unfortunately, that wasn’t what we got. The vocals – and especially Yebba’s own – were drowned out by the backing band. The FOH was simply too loud, with too much space given to the drums in the mix. This was at the expense of the vocals. I also felt that a number of songs lacked the string arrangements. But this is again in line with the idea of more intimacy rather than more rock. To be clear: the talent of all the musicians on stage is beyond question. They’re brilliant!

Een fantastisch optreden van Emmy d'Arc in een even fantastische zaal. Genoten van begin tot eind. Emmy d'Arc is een muzikale duizendpoot, die ondanks het feit dat ze solo op de planken staat, blijft verrassen. Een artieste met een prachtige stem en uitstraling, een podium en een gitaar, keybord en mondharmonica. Meer was er niet nodig om het publiek meteen mee te krijgen, eveneens van begin tot eind.

The venue was really nice, the lockers were secure, the staff was really friendly, it wasn't crammed and the aircon was on point. Drinks were a little expensive, but I guess that's normal in Belgium. The lightshows for both UltraSunn and Carpenter Brut were really good and the sound was remarkable as well. I'd 100% go to that venue again, as well as to any Carpenter Brut concert in my vicinty!

Was great but too short! Considering that was an home show for them was weird that they didn’t any encores 🤷‍♂️ I guess they were just tired from the Usa tour… Also Isa’s voice is difficult to hear sometimes, i know is shoegaze but they should set the guitars a bit lower. I like them so much so hope anybody can see them one day! 😎🤘🏻

Ik had, door alles wat ik van de Di-rect op tv en andere kanalen had gezien, hele hoge verwachtingen. En ook al was het hun 3e show in 1 week, het was echt een happening, helaas staan er boven maar 5***** om toe te kennen. Show staat als een huis en de heren beleven onderling veel lol. Ze betrekken het publiek daar ook bij. Ik zat zelf stiekem te hopen dat het Marcels huzarenstukje 'All in vain" ook op de setlist stond. Die kwam helaas niet voorbij, de andere nummers maakt dat gemis zeker goed. Als laatste is de locatie in brussel een goede prettige omgeving, alles netjes op orde, alles verliep gesmeerd. Echt een top avond gehad, thnks DI-Rect

Een prachtige show, mensen die ook gewoon stil bleven tijdens het luisteren. Echt geweldig! En fijn dat we in de zaal de keus hadden om te kunnen zitten. Het voorprogramma vond ik niet erg bijzonder. Een beetje 13 in een dozijn. Saai voor mij dus. De zaal (AB) is echt prachtig. Lockers voor maar €1 en drankjes €3 (1 beton). Ik kom hier graag nog een keer. Vriendelijk personeel!

Skunk Anansie last night was brilliant. If you get a chance to see them go see them. Skin was on fire, she had the whole auditorium eating out of her hand. Infectious energy from start to finish. Band was tight, sound was crisp, set list was fantastic. By far the best live band I have ever seen (so far 😉)

This Concet was amaziiiing! I can't believe U got to see Tom, Bill, Gustav and Georg irl ✨️✨️ The songs were incredible, they performed Durch den monsun, Spring nicht, Rette Mich, Darkside of the Sun, World behind my wall, Fell it all, Colors of the Wind, Girl Got à G*n, Miss it... The lights and outfit were crazy as well as the meet and greet after the show thanks to the "Post chill" VIP upgrade ❤️❤️

I was waiting for this concert for almost 2 years and I finally see them. I love them so much I can’t even show how much I love them, like they’re like a family for me. They literally saved me I hope that they saw me when I was jumping (I’m 150cm) soo I don’t think so… anyway we are waiting for the next Tour !!!

An amazing show, their music is as good if not better than the songs you hear on spotify. It's quite the experience and definitely worth it, especially with how cheap it is. The only thing I found unfortunate was that they changed the way they sang "OK". I personally think the one on spotify is better there but no complains. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT.

VV was amazing as always. He’s a genius. What’s not genius though is the architectural and agricultural design of your venue. Tell me why, please, that the vents right in front of the stage near first and second row smelled like toilets the whole time?? I could not breathe. I’m not sure there’s much to do about this but thought you should know since you asked for feedback. Anyways, VV, Heartagram, and HIM for ever 💖

It was a fantastic gig. Still a band with virtuoso bass and guitar players( Billy Sheehan and Paul Gilbert). Nick d’ Virgilio , the drummer chosen for this tour, was also a good choice for the band. And Eric Martin, with his unmistakable voice, completes the band which was on top in early 90’s.

My first ever show from her and i was so anxious to finally see her, this woman has set the stage on fire, left me with a never forgetting show and allowed me to cry on her shoulder at the VIP M&G. This woman deserves to be known and keep on the stage to perform!

My best friend and I have been to every Kodaline tour so far, so it kinda became a tradition for us. This completely acoustic concert was 10/10, we haven’t been listening to Kodaline that much so hearing the songs we used to listen to so much was wonderful. Especially the songs that have special meaning to us, we were both crying at some parts. Only wished they had played “Way Back When”, but still a wonderful experience and a great concert!👏

Well, all in all it was a very nice experience - good music, great performance (harmony, voices and voicings), a really lovely of JC with the audience ,- lively, interactive, energetic - people were invited to sing, whistle, klap along... Even without the bassist who was not able to play that evening they managed to deliver a great show (JC played bass and part of the bass lines was taken over by the pianist). Only the sound of the bass (solo and in the mix) was not up to my taste - why so many sound technicians don't care about the bass? Also here it was drowning in (too) loud drums (kick drum & Co)... Anyway, I went out happy and singing!

Great live performance from this super talented singer-songwriter/musician and band! Nice and funny interaction with the public as well. Lovely to see that they were genuinely touched by the positive reactions they received throughout the concert. Hope they keep coming back to these smaller incredible venues like the AB before starting to sell out stadiums 😊

Nice show, too bad we didn't see Tom and Georg so much as their stuff was "upstairs" I loved all the costumes, Bill has still a beautiful voice after all these years :P Still in love with this band after 15 years ! Hope to see them again in my life. Spécial mention for the band "Beautiful Liars", they were very good and try to make the crowd move !

Excellent concert ! Typiquement pour les nostalgiques du punk-rock de la seconde moitié des années 1990, la setlist du soir a en effet fait la part belle aux premiers albums du groupe sur lesquels figurent leurs plus grands tubes ! Show bien maîtrisé, à l'américaine avec çà et là quelques effets visuels assez classiques aussi dans ce genre de concerts.

Real musicians aren't shooting stars, they're messengers. Music shouldn't serve them. They should serve music, and some of them do. That's when I know their music comes from the right place. It reminds me of a quote by David Foster Wallace I've been obsessed about for years - and it ends like this: “(...) it seems like the big distinction between good art and so-so art lies somewhere in the art’s heart’s purpose, the agenda of the consciousness behind the text. It’s got something to do with love. With having the discipline to talk out of the part of yourself that can love instead of the part that just wants to be loved.” I was blown away by Tamino’s show yesterday night. All the feels, all the way. And then, out of the blue, Colin f*****g Greenwood. I felt good over there, at the balcony, watching you serving the music just the way you said you'd do. I sang and danced and the first thing I wanted to do after the show was have a happy drink remembering 'The Prophet' and dance my heart away on Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's 'Afreen Afreen', which no one had ever heard of. Phew, that was a long one. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
