Mississippi Studios

She and her band were phenomenal! The synergy between the three of them was beautiful. At first, I was worried that there wasn’t a percussionist, but once they started playing, it all made sense and I didn’t feel like anything was missing. Just a solid, gorgeous set from top to bottom. And Mississippi Studios was the perfect venue with its top-tier acoustics.

The show was absolutely fantastic. The audience and both bands had so much energy. Never Come Down is always magical, and they just keep getting better and better. And, of course, Mississippi Studios is such a great place to see them.

The Music exploded with super positive vibrations and flow! I danced so much my feet were in distress and I lost my voice because of all the uplifting the band members Angels aura’s brightness brought!!!

The show was incredible! All three ladies would be great on their own but put them together on one stage and it is a showcase of exceptional talent, beautiful harmonies, great songs and wonderful presentation. Loved every minute! Seriously considering traveling for the next two shows since they are somewhat close to me! I’d see Kelly Willis, Melissa Carper and Brennen Leigh over and over again! Wonderful job ladies!

Fantastic! Wonderful songs, great 3-part harmonies, excellent musicianship, fantastic sound (not too loud, bright, or boomy). Plus, seeing three chicks on stage in cowboy hats and boots was pretty hot ;-) .

Kevin brings it throughout the night. The Shiny Soul Sisters keep the party hopping. And The Tijuana Trainwreck Horns make it fun and funky. Shinyribs is a band to go see. They never miss a beat or a chance to make you move.

I always get nervous seeing some of my favorite performers live because you never know how it'll compare or if the artist is chill. Beyond pleasantly surprised at how amazing Parker Millsap was and the band that traveled with him. Going forward I'll make sure I never miss his tour when he's in town. Magical energy and just overwhelmingly positive vibes- stunning performance

A fantastic show from start to finish. The opener, Maria BC was enchanting and had the crowd entranced from the go. Then, when Stella and her crew took the stage, the positive vibes continued. Stella brings such a wonderful energy and excitement to the stage and supports it with some truly soaring vocals. Truly a wonderful experience at one of my favorite venues in town!

I would give my life to experience this again. She sings just as beautifully in person, and her connections with the crowd are seemingly just as meaningful for her as they were for us. You could feel in the room how much each word meant to everyone, and how much it meant to her as well. It is an experience I will cherish forever. I hope to see her again.

What a stellar show last night in Portland! A live music experience that pulsasates with the artists knowledge, passion, personal journey and talent. Great venue, charismatic artist and epic message. Support local live music and if you accidently missed this show, don't let it happen again. (P.S. Julian you need to raise your ticket prices)

Pure shred-fest. The opening act was excellent. Earthless was so cool. So many layers. From the drummer who was constantly a beast. The Bass was rock solid and had such a rich tone. And the guitar, with echos of Hendrix, Gilmour, and Iommi. Loved every minute of it.

Mike Watt is always incredible and this show was no exception. Same goes for the venue, Mississippi Studios. Cozy and intimate, it attracts a friendly audience and the shows there are always top notch. Oh, and definitely check out the opening band, The Mascaras - fantastic. They earned their way onto my list of Tracked Artists.

Kelly Finnigan - surprisingly underrated & seemingly too often in the realm of innominate or little/rarely know artists - is truly a powerhouse force to explore who is such a genuinely wonderful & amazing talent, exuding such a raw & deep inspiring voice, mellifluously overflowing with a rich, prolific soulfulness that's both deliriously captivating & capable of striking those chords deep-down within your core you might have forgot were even there, as your inner essence is reawakened & you're reminded of the quintessential reverence & humility of what it is to be alive in the, 'here & now,' while the world keeps spinning & you feel like it might actually be possible, even if only for that moment, to reach out, touch, & grab hold of that unmistakable warm sensation, that The Universe, indeed recognizes the capacity for your singular spirit among the seemingly infinite sea of others, & shines the glowing inspiring light of its astonishing smile upon you....

Such a heart pumper throughout the night! Mississippi Studios was the perfect catalyst to showcase The Joy Formidable’s musical prowess🎸🔥. Big fan of Warbly Jets too when they kicked into gear from start to finish!

This band is even better live than in recordings. Their sound is ambient and slides over you, creating a very cool vibe. The singer is as humble as he is talented. Amazing show. One of the best I’ve ever seen.

All of the bands were great! An awesome show, at one of my favorite venues. Really needed musical catharsis to release some pent up anguish over this sad political moment. Thanks to all the bands for putting their hearts into it. ❤️

since i wasn’t old enough to get inside dom came out after the show and said he saw me outside and gave me hugs and he signed a pair of merch that he gave me but he was the absolute sweetest and the show ( from outside ) was amazing and he sounded as amazing as always

The sound was incredible in this intimate venue. Elder played a good mix of songs from most of their albums and had good energy, which is impressive for a mostly instrumental band. The opening acts were super awesome. I’m a new fan of Holy Grove. Excited to follow them locally!
