It was a great venue and the people are super nice. I’m not a Grateful Dead fan so I can’t comment on the music. But people were having a great time so I presume that it was a great show.
It was nearly glorious. He & his music mates were outstanding! The audience was Joyful! My granddaughter was captive, dancing singing- a perfect remedy for Final exam preps. An EXTRAORDINARY event in peace and mutual Celebration. Thanks to Niall for making this venue part of The SHOW!
Each one delivered and are 30 year veterans.
Collective Soul did great considering they only had 45 minutes. They & McCain did a great version of AC/DC’s “Dirty Deeds”.
H & TBD had great energy and played all their hits while mixing in two of Darius’s solo hits and covers. of REM.
We did our homework and bought Reserved Parking. Best to arrive very early if you buy lawn seats.
I freaking LOVE Korn i saw them i think in 2014-2106 at a small venue in Clifton PArk Norther lights. Was simply amazing Johnathan DAVIS is spectacular performer. We took our 2 kids to Spac on 8-11-19 and both of them said Korn was the best performance they were 7 and 10 at the time. There now 12 and 15 and waiting patently for them to either come back to Spac or the Empire in Albany!!
This was my first GNR concert, as I was not born until much after their stardom. Nonetheless, I was blown away by the fact that these guys can still play one hell of a set. Axl's voice wasn't in perfect health, but he did the best he could and still put on a good show. Slash is still a guitar god, and it was a pleasure to hear him shred like crazy. I would totally come back if GNR decided to do another set back in the Capital Region!
When I bought 2 seats to this show for $1200, my husband thought I was nuts. I spent my entire yearly concert budget on this one show, and YES, it was so worth it! By far one of the best concerts I have been to. They played for close to 3 hours! All of my favorite songs from middle school and beyond were performed, and it was like watching the band I saw in the Use Your Illusion Tour 30+ years ago. I was worried that this concert and the age of my rockstar heroes would tarnish my memories of the band (which sadly has happened with some other 80s/90s bands I have seen), but wow was I wrong. Axl jumped around the stage like he was in his 20's and Slash was absolute perfection. Duff and Rich threw out some sweet solos as well. How Axl belts out those songs for 3 hours and can perform again 2 to 3 days later I will never know. If anyone is on the fence about going to see this show due to the cost, pull the trigger and GO!
I had the best time! The only complaint I have is that people were so rude during O.A.R. I came to see both bands and they should not be talking and interrupting the show. Aside from that everyone who worked there were awesome and helpful. The band was fabulous and I can’t wait to come back. A concert on a summer night is the best!
Lindsey Sterling as an opener and Evanescence as the main course was amazing! wasn't super familiar with that much of their music before attending, but my dad convinced me it was the move. Overall loved it!!
The concert was great! I was so happy that I got to see them both I been a fan since 2018 and seeing them in person really made me happy. 10/10 concert definitely would go again
Truly one of the best shows I’ve ever been to. It was so apparent that Dermot cared about this show at a smaller venue just as much as he cares about huge crowds. His voice live is incredibly emotional. Cannot wait to see him live again someday.
SPAC is a great concert location, but Dermot Kennedy's performance makes any concert location extraordinary. He's not like any other artist...and my third DK experience did not disappoint. The sound was great, the visuals were awesome, and the songs had everyone dropping into their hearts from the first note of "Blossom" to the last note of "Something to Someone." He invites you on a journey through the human experience, everything you've ever felt before, and a few that may be lived vicariously through the storytelling. When he urges, "Sing it!" he's really making sure no one has a passive experience. He's there with you the whole way. Some might call it "a concert"....but it always feels like so much more. He's a blessing.
LARKIN POE was fantastic!! But their show was too short on this events lineup, and with all due respect they were the best band there! These girls are awesome and deserve the best!
Show was amazing but SPAC needs to get it together. It was SOOOO oversold it was insanity in there in a bad way. Hours of traffic jams and not enough lawn space for what they sold.
Amazing show! So glad I was finally able to check of a bucket list item! People around me were asking if this is a newer band. I was like no! It’s Blue!!! Tons of new fans joined the blue family! Thank you for coming back to the Upstate NY area!
I loved Blue October's portion of the show. I really wish it was longer!! I paid $1000 and drove 6 for the trip and was sad that they only got to play 6 songs. They are amazing. I can't wait for them to be the headliners again.
A BEAUTIFUL EVENT! Son has loved him since he was little, so, now in his 40's he finally got to see the band LIVE. He had THE best time-and inspired by the artist- may be getting over his covid-agoraphobia. I hope Steve Miller feels like he can still keep keeping on-Nothing but joy and admiration for him!
Truly a wonderful show. Alison's voice is top notch and goes extremely well with Robert Plant's vocals. The band was tight and everything was spot on with the musicianship.
AMAZING SHOW!! I appreciate that they engage the crowd from the first chord until well after the last. Matt Shultz going out into the crowd was priceless and going out into the lawn seats to engage the folks in the back? I've never seen anything like it! Amazing!!!
This concert was amazing. Both opening acts were awesome. Rob came out and played for a solid two hours. You could see how much he enjoys what he does. His band was fun and very talented. Rob is such a great performer. The entire night was great.
I’ve seen him many times. Each and every time he gives a 110%
He looks as though he enjoys himself.
If you never seen him.....go go go see him
you won’t be disappointed
