The concert was all we hoped for and more! When Runrig retired and Brexit happened, a void was left in regard to touring Scottish musicians in Germany. Skipinnish has all the potential to fill this void and leave their own delightful mark on traditional Scottish music.
Drawing from various Scottish musical traditions and combining it with the influences of modern Scottish music, they offer a wide range of musical treats. I guess we were lucky to have seen them close up in this relatively small venue as I suspect that in near future they only will play in larger venues.
