Never before have I seen such a passionate musician!
El Fantasma, mis respetos para el Sr. Y gracias por darnos una muy buena presentación. Lo vemos en la octava vuelta.
Last night I had the pleasure of experiencing an epic two and one-half hour performance by the legendary Peter Frampton and his band at the historic Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara, California. The setlist included included all of his major hits from the "Frampton Comes Alive" era, some of his earlier solo work with Frampton's Camel, his blues album, and finished up with several classics from his time in Humble Pie. At the age of 73, Mr. Frampton still has the chops of an elite level guitar player, singer and composer. He has surrounded himself on this tour with musicians of the highest caliber. One of the highlights of the show was a guitar duel between Peter and his back-up guitarist Adam Lester. Other highlights included his instrumental rendition of the Chris Cornell/Soundgarden song "Black Hole Sun", as well as Hoagie Carmichaels' "Georgia". Throughout the show montages of photographs spanning the different phases of his career and collaborations with other music luminaries like David Bowie scrolled in the background. Between numbers Peter shared the stories behind the songs he was about to perform. He was funny and engaging obviously enjoying being back on stage once more. At the conclusion of the show he and the band received a sustained and much deserved standing ovation. All in all, a night to remember!
I wouldn’t know because even though I have been diligent, I contracted COVID earlier this week and had to sell my ticket.
I want to tell everyone attending public events and live music, COVID IS NOT OVER!
(Going to assume that he did his usual, outstanding job!)
Best show I’ve seen in years he still got it
Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara was the venue. It was such a great show from the beginning to the end. He talked to the audience throughout, and the sound was great. Highlight for me was the cover of Soundgardens Black Hole Sun. The low point was the theater had no airflow. The weather in Santa Barbara is the best, but not inside...
INCREDIBLE SHOW…. One of the best EVER…. HE gave his heart and SOUL ♥️
Humildes y Sencillos. Gracias Poncho y Imanol fue un concierto 🎵 muy bonito y gracias por todo, nos divertimos mucho. Saludos desde Oxnard California 🙏🔥💯🎵🫶
The world needs more acoustic King Gizzard
I got to see him in Chicago! Still three hours away but worth every minute of it! We have a venue called the Crystal grand in Wisconsin Dells! Would love to have him a little closer but I Watch a lot of YouTube so hopefully they’ll be more to see!❤️
Tom Jones is such a funny & well spoken guy I wish I knew him personally ☺️ As an old soul I’m sad I didn’t get to experience him in his prime but I am grateful to have had the chance to do so at all. He put his fans first because even in his bad shape at the time from surgery he still showed up and preformed wonderfully ♥️
The Cult were fantastic! They covered all of their greatest hits as well as some material from their new release "Under the Midnight Sun". Ian Astbury's vocals and stage presence were stellar and Billy Duffy's guitar playing clearly demonstrated why he is among rock's premier guitarists. The crowd was on its feet from the onset until the very last note of the final encore song.
My only critique of the show related to the opening act "King Woman". I thought that this was an extremely odd band to have open the show. All of their "songs" were very dark/dirge like with the singer's vocals being muted and without any real melody. If they have an album it should be entitled "Songs for a Suicide".
The show was at a lovely historic theatre in Santa Barbara CA. The production was really good both the visual and sound effects made for a great show. Sir Tom Jones was absolutely fabulous singing a mix of old & new songs, a stella entertainer!
I love Intocable and was saddened that this experience was less than stellar. Their performance was great considering the sound was terrible, there was little to no AC in the Theater, bathroom lines were ridiculous as well as the concession stands. The Arlington Theater, although historic, needs major renovations.
Intocable should perform at the Santa Barbara Bowl the next time they come to Santa Barbara.
Amazing show, great songs, fun real happy energy
Lukas continues to be my favorite performer, I’m such a huge fan❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Too many people standing, supposed to be a sit down theater. Not a big brown beaver fan, so new single was prob my fav out of their lackluster choosing from their catalog. Xanadu was only a decent cover. Sound was good, lights & video not so much. Les does do magic on that bass though...bu+ I didn't realize until intermission that he's a Ukraine supporter, so that's a turn off. More thrash/faster, less wandering prog (not the Rush parts) or hits instead of slow, deep cuts & a much better experience could've been had. Lost a little respect... especially for the $ of 7th row center seats. Pass next time, unless they're the opener. $50 poster I don't even care if gets framed anymore.
Orville has one of the best voices I have heard live. Must see for sure
I wish you guys would go there again, absolute amazing experience i loved it! please come back
