I enjoyed the show very much.
Talking about his trips to the Ukraine and Israel were very moving. Great band.
This is the fourth time I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Toad. While they’ve never disappointed, this one was a cut above. There was magic in the Music Hall that night; both the band and the audience felt it and they fed off each orher’s energy. A superior performance from an outstanding band.
The show was really, really good! It happened to be on John's birthday (he turned 81) and it is amazing how well he can perform. It was so good to hear so many wonderful songs performed by John and his backup band was excellent! I recommend to anyone that you see one of his shows; you will be so glad that you did!
Justin was Amazing as always. He sounds the same, his voice is still strong and beautiful.
I followed the Moody Blues for over 40 years. They are my all time favorite band, especially Justin. I have also seen his solo performances so many times I've lost track.
I have never seen him booked with another performer. It was disappointing that his set was only an hour. I was grateful for the chance to see him, but it was too short & felt rushed.
I hope he tours again and they go back to just Justin with Mike Dawes as warm up for half and hour.
The Tarrytown Music Hall is a beautiful old theater. The street it is on is very charming. There are many restaurants to choose from to have a nice meal before the show. We had a delicious dinner a Nicks Pizza, a short walk around the corner from the Theater. They don’t look like much from the street, however they have a dinning room in the back.
I suggest going early so you can get a nearby parking spot on the main road.
Have been waiting a long time to see Nick Lowe. Great venue and well he is an amazing performer. His voice is still strong and inspiring.
Allman Betts always a great show. Mixing their music with their current solo music while mixing in a few Allman Brothers classics. See them if you can.
A wonderful, intimate evening with a true American master. I thought his voice sounded a little thin and strained in spots, or maybe the sound mix could have been better, but the power of the music and the beauty of the songs shone through consistently. So glad I finally got to see one of my favorite artists ever.
Cool homey venue
Older crowd lacked energy at times but overall vibe was one of loyal long time followers of the band who knew what to expect and was highly gracious, well behaved and supportive
Band was very good and played all the crowd
pleasers including waiting for the sun, blue , tailspin, pray for me and a fee great byrds covers
a 90 minute show without much of a pause and limited audience interaction but a fun
way to spend a Sunday night!
Show was beautiful; however, venue seats were inadequate for people over 6 feet tall.
Show receives 4 stars. Venue receives 3 stars. seats receive 1 star.
I love Wanda Sykes but this was not a great show. Her presentation was disjointed and she kept referring to her notes and even remarked she was trying out new material. If the tickets had been $25-50 ok but not for over $100 dollars.
Dave and the band put on a great show. Dave hasn’t lost a lick and sounds like his records. Couldn’t ask for more 👍👍👍
Aimee was great, as always. This was her first live show in 18 months, and yet she was in top form. Two criticisms:
1. The acoustic at the venue were not good. It was hard to hear the lyrics and her spoken words, and the guitar was garbled.
2. The set was too short. She played for about an hour and followed up with 2 encores, but when she announced that the song she was about to sing would be the last one, the audience let out a collective groan. I had expected at least 90 minutes plus encores.
That said, I will go see Aimee any time. She is my favorite singer-songwriter since Joni Mitchell.
Great little venue tucked in a nice area. Morgan was nothing short of amazing. If you love great, stripped down music and want to learn more about Morgan as a person this tour is a must see!
The Mavericks are one of the greatest bands of all time. They are true artists and showman and are dedicated to pleasing their fans. Attending a Mavericks performance is an uplifting and wonderful event. Pure energy and enjoyment.
First time seeing Dimeola live. Nothing short of outstanding. His ensemble was outstanding as well. Looking forward for his return to my area
Despite some technical issues with his acoustic guitars, he took it all in stride and put on a phenomenal show. His connection with the audience is a close one and comes across very authentic and down to earth.
Typical Buddy Guy show - amazing! He played many of his standard songs, ranging from soft and soulful to blistering blues. He continues to demonstrate the innovation that he is known for. Play it so funky we can smell it!
Colin is an amazing singer/songwriter. His guitars always sound amazing with his different tunings. His shows are always intimate with an occasional funny story from Colin which makes it even more soothing. Love em'!
Love Sammy Miller and his band, and combined with the expanded brass section as well as the slide guitar and, of course, Jaymo on drums made for a great evening.
Man is brilliant! He is a major talent who was able to take the misery we’ve had to suffer with the Trump “presidency” and showed how stupid it really is! His musical talent is major and he brings satire and parody to a Tom Lehrer level. If he’s playing near you, GO SEE HIM!!!!!
