Jon was incredible! He brings such an amazing energy into everything he does. And his band was awesome, too. I had never seen a show at the Starlight, either, and it was a fantastic experience. Jon is a unique artist of our generation and I'm so glad I was able to see him!
This was the first time seeing them and I was really impressed! I've been a fan since The Nature of the Beast album, as really happy they were the opening act for Triumph. It was a glorious night in Kansas City and am grateful to have gotten to see both. Well done boys!
This was the most fun concert I have been to in a while! Everyone was screaming the lyrics and I felt like everyone around me knew what I felt like because they understood this great music taste. I would totally go again! Conan Gray has done such a great job of bringing us together and hyping us up with his music. I am so grateful for a chance to finally see him live. <3
THIS WAS SO PEAK! This was the best concert I have ever been to. It was an amazing experience. I loved his vocals and the atmosphere. Everyone was so nice and it was a great time. I really hope I get to go to another conan concert soon.
Big time rush is always a great experience, i loved that they had stephen and Kaitlyn join them and the rock remixes of their songs were straight fire. (Hopeing they release an album of those remixes) was a little shocked they weren't as physical as some of their other concerts, they had trampolines and barely used them, but I'm chalking that up to the 85° heat.
Still waiting for a btr bsb collaboration
They were as awesome as ever!!!!
I have tried to see them live for YEARS and something always happened. So after waiting almost 45 years 50 years to see them we finally did! And we had the best time they sounded great. They looked great everything I imagined they would be. I’m just sorry that I didn’t get a chance to see them while Morris White was still alive. But he was there in spirit and Philip Bailey. Oh my God that man’s voice is incredible. We had a marvelous time! And the place was packed.
Once again an outstanding show from Incubus! This show had by far the most impressive lights and visual effects of the 4 Incubus shows I’ve seen. Fantastic. And loved the acoustic versions of a few morning view tracks, especially blood on the ground. Brandon’s interaction with the crowd was perfect blend too. Not too much but kept everyone engaged. Can’t wait for the Crow Left anniversary tour!
Amazing set, as always! I just wish it was longer! At one point I thought I heard Andy say, “we will be out of your hair soon”. I was so confused. I know they were not the headliner… but Manchester Orchestra is Top 5 all time!! Although I felt like I understood a little bit… it seemed like a very Incubus heavy crowd… so probably not what MO are used to. I was really disappointed that the whole crowd wasn’t on their feet the whole show enjoying and appreciating the band like I was. I really want to go to a show where they play every single song they ever wrote, lol. I saw them at the Midland a couple of years ago and it was absolutely beautiful. Again, great set… I just really wanted more!!!
Petey was so good as the opener he stole the show. Discovered the band on a motorcycle ride and rocked his albums all summer long so I had to see him live when he came to KC. Show was amazing and he even told a few jokes and had the whole place laughing. I will see these guys again.
Amazing show!!! The opening band, Pvris, and the Pumpkins opted to start the concert a little early to miss the storms that were supposed to be coming in! Both banks rocked out hard!!!! Took the grandkids to see it too! Well worth the time and money!!!!!!!!
I purchased a meet & greet with Melissa Etheridge. I was told that you'd meet her, then have a photo op with her. I'm unsure if she was running late or what, but there was NO meet & greet! I did get my picture taken with her though. I was pleased with the photo op but VERY disappointed due to the absence of the meet & greet, especially with the price I paid for the meet & greet package. It was my dream to meet her,so it fulfilled my life's dream & I have many photos & memories of the special occasion. I would do it over again so no regrets, just don't plan on meeting her, besides getting your picture taken or chances are, you will be disappointed! M.E. rocks!
It was a last minute ticket grab but what a treat! This was a exceptional show with opener Yacht Rock Revue and headliner Train who I had never seen either before live in concert! YRR played a few original tunes and a slew of classic Rock and 'AM Gold' songs from Baker Street to Ride Like the Wind!
Train took to the stage and were clearly having so much fun while entertaining a nearly full capacity Starlight Theatre! All their hits and deep cut favorites from their decades of music sounded amazing and to be honest, I am kicking myself for not seeing these guys until now! If you've never heard of Yacht Rock Revue check them out and definitely...GO SEE TRAIN!!
Besides the extreme heat this show was what the kids say “off the chain!” Cat Power & Modest Mouse sounded great, although you could tell they were hot and tired, I don’t blame them though. The Pixies blew my mind, they exceeded my expectations. I knew they were going to be good, but I didn’t expect them to be THAT good! Black’s voice is INSANE, so EFFORTLESS!! Starlight is always a great choice when it comes to live music, the staff is friendly and it’s just a great atmosphere. Thanks for the great time. See ya again!
I haven’t been to a Black Keys concert in a long time. They did not disappoint. This was a great show! A shout out to Starlight Theater. It’s been years since I’ve been there also. So many great updates. More restrooms, places to eat. The huge fans cooling people down. A beautiful venue for a concert or play.
Milky Chance was better than words could ever express!! Their energy was through the roof, & they sing even better live! I can’t wait to see them again. My only complaint is that they didn’t play long enough. I thought co headline meant both bands play an equal amount each but that’s not how it was at all. Milky Chance got half the time, half the stage, and they didn’t get to play at night, which sucked. Anyway I can’t wait to see Milky Chance live again, they know how to put on a freakin show even if they did get ripped off. Also TALK was AMAZING! He’s such an entertainer, I came to the show already excited to see him and he did not disappoint!
Staff extremely friendly and helpful. The show was phenomenal as always. I've never seen am okay MB20 show, the guys always put on a fantastic amazeballs show! I did buy two parking passes with my original tickets, but no one was taking them at parking, so I feel like I lost out on money for parking. Other than that. I have no other negative comments. Everything was great.
One of the top 2 or 3 concerts I have been to, and I’ve been to hundreds. Tyler is a brilliant songwriter and performer. The set was cool and the sound was excellent. The highlight was the opening 4 or 5 songs when he came out on stage with his guitar and sat and played alone. If you like his recorded music, you’ll like it live. He played for over two hours without a break. We will never miss an opportunity to see him if he is within a reasonable drive, and if we can get tickets. If you’re thinking about seeing him, quit thinking and go!!
To sum it up quickly, in 3 words to describe Styx at this show and every other performance I've attended by them: Insanely Phenomenal - Amazing!!! Blown away!!
You guys killed it!! The sound was crystal clear and your musicianship was top notch, like always!! I was in awe throughout your set!! It was astounding!! Everyone of you just killed it!! I saw you last year at Azura Amphitheater with Collective Soul too!
Another epic Styx show in the books!!
I'm over 20 of them, for sure!
What a way to celebrate 50 Years of Styx!!
I can't wait to see you guys again at the end of the Summer up in Des Moines!!
Great show! Sound on the Mains was being pushed too hard at the beginning of the show ... for about the first 3 or so songs. After that, the rest of the show was very clean and clear!! Awesome song selection with time constraints!!
Bottom line - it was an amazing night and performance by REO Speedwagon!! So much fun!! I've seen these guys about 18 + times over the years and they always BRING IT!!! I certainly miss Gary and Alan ... I'd be a liar if I didn't say that!!
But WOW ... great stuff!! Very very thankful that you guys still perform ... "Like You Do" !!
Amazing show!! I wish the tempo of the songs were closer to the originals. Maybe the heat contributed?? Other than that, phenomenal performance as always!!
Matt was killing it on the drums!!
Oh, I wish you guys had time to hit Lady of the 80's, but your time was limited. I thought your song selection was great for the amount of time you had on stage!
Can't wait to see you guys again in Des Moines at the end of Summer!!
