I had an amazing time! Avril had a great performance and was so interactive with the crowd. A couple of hours before the show I got a message from the venue saying they needed my seats for a disabled person to meet ADA requirements. I totally understood and it didn’t bother me to move seats. To my surprise they moved me up 20 rows and gave me Huntington VIP passes.
The show was amazing!!! It rained and got a bit cold so it’s worth getting covered seats. Allow a lot of time for parking. It worth it to get a parking pass. Leaving the venue took a long time. I recommend staying for the whole show, using the bathroom, then getting to the car to leave because it would’ve taken just as long as leaving a few songs early and getting stuck in line on the way out. Avril’s performance was just absolutely amazing!
She was awesome so was simple plan. The venue needs to get real though. They have no one directing people with different packages . I was told to walk out then back in another way because of vip. Then once there my ticket didnt work because of no re entry and they almost didnt let me back in . Took over and hour and a half to get out of the parking lot
Another great show from an amazing band. Firstly, I had known their opener, Kevin Abstract, before their tour was announced. I hope touring with them gets him more fame, as his music is reminiscent of Tyler the Creator, and he has great vocals. He did his best to keep the energy up despite not many people knowing his songs.
Glass Animals is one of, if not my favorite band. I love how this album deviated from their usual style with every song being about a different form of love. Dave continues to impress with his vocals and energy, and the rest of the guys can always keep up with him. Also, the set was AMAZING. I have never seen anything like it. It even topped the fun set they had for the Dreamland tour.
For anyone still curious about the Doobie Brothers and their talent and quality of their shows, the great news is this band still rocks like it’s 1979! Superb vocals, excellent musicianship, and the confidence of a band that knows they are loved, and they are having such fun on stage! If you have the opportunity and enjoy the Doobie Brothers, do not miss them! Another wonderful part of the show was the opening act, Steve Winwood, who of course was a headliner a couple decades ago. He was terrific as well, and we enjoyed his set of Traffic and Blind Faith tunes mixed with some of his more recent material. All in all an unforgettable evening!
Incredible, these guys are like, they get better with age. They rocked the house. Ed Roland is fantastically entertaining, I love his voice and the band was excellent and he sounds better live than recorded if you can believe it. Perhaps the most underrated band in the history of the universe. Thank you Collective Soul. December clouds were covering me, but at that show Heaven let its light shine on us!
Great show from start to finish! KennyHoopla was the first opener and he got the show rocking!! It is a shame that more people were not there yet, as he gave it all and I was there for it! Next was Poppy and for never having heard her, I loved her set too! Next was AFI and Wow! Davey Havok is an absolute entertainer, reminding me of a modern day Bowie! Next came Thirty Seconds to Mars! They did not disappoint!! Playing a mix of songs from all of their releases, not just the new album (which I love as well), was great! Leto knows how to engage the crowd and make the show truly an interactive experience!! The crowd was rocking until the last note!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
I wouldn’t know I wasn’t able to get enough saved up to go unfortunately as I’m disabled and not on disability till later in the year when it starts for me. Right now I only make money if I sell a possession of mine sadly as I’m unable to work. Haven’t been able to go out and enjoy something like a concert in a very long time and music is a big part of my life as I write music lyrics and play guitar and used to play drums too for many years. It’s a passion of mine especially classic rock and modern rock as well as modern country bordering on rock and even some pop here and there too! I miss it , does allot to your mental health when your cooped up 24/7 unless it’s a Dr appointment or to get groceries otherwise I don’t get to do much of anything sadly nowadays. I hope whomever got to see the show had a kickass time ! I’ve never gotten to see Van Halen or Sammy Hagar but have seen many others and now I have a mobility scooter I can go do things but only if I have the $ for it though. Gained more freedom but still can’t do anything fun ! Maybe I’ll get lucky and someone will see this and can help me get tickets to a show but if not it’ll have to wait till whenever I can afford to do so! I’m trying to see Avril Lavigne with Simple plan as I like both artists and never come to my area but are coming in September I’m trying hard to be able to go and see them! Here’s to hoping! God bless
Hot hot and hotter. I think that played on the crowd. Rockin Randell was good as ever. Marty and the guys were fun. Opening act I'll be looking at. I do think Hank cut the show short. But the heat had to play into it. I had a first timer with be and He kept saying how talented Hank jr was. He was aw struck by the bass player in Marty's band. My tenth show hoping for another.
I’ve seen Chris each of the last 3 times he’s played Blossom, and there’s never any surprises! You know you’re gonna get a solid show, no frills, some great musicianship and some soulful bluesy vocals. The setlist was good, but of course I wish he had played some stuff that I prefer over some of the stuff he did play. Of course, there’s 15-20 thousand other fans there and you can’t please everyone with every song!
Overall though, a great show, very enjoyable!
Amazing! Let me start by saying this is my first time seeing them. Duran Duran was my favorite band in the early to mid 80's. So yes I have waited 40 years to see them and they did not disappoint. They sounded amazing and performed several of my favorite songs. With all of that said, if Nile Rogers opened and said Duran Duran was not able to make it and then did his set with the Chic org, I would have demanded I be charged more money. I mean, I have been under a rock and recently learned he produced The Reflex, but when he did is melody performing all the hits he is responsible for, my mind was blown. This is the guy who made the much of the music I grew up loving. So, this was and amazing night for me, simply amazing.
Weezer was excellent. Modest Mouse was better than when I saw them 3-4 years ago. Unfortunately, Live Nation Staff allowed several out-of-control, drunken, young women onto the ADA platform where I was parked in my wheelchair. One of them fell into me from behind. Another accidentally punched me in the back of my head. A third was smoking or vaping directly behind me and blowing smoke past my left ear. Smoking or vaping other than on the lawn area is illegal there. I passed another cigarette smoker on my way to report the unsafe behavior of the drunks. He was standing about 5 feet from them! One of the Staff said they hadn't noticed anyone misbehaving until I reported them. The offenders were promptly ejected from the ADA platform, but my concert experience had already been tainted.
My friend and I were given tickets to the show by one of our pharmacists that wasn't going to be able to make it. It was amazing!! We had great seats!! We are huge Matchbox Twenty & Rob Thomas fans!! 🥰Blossom Music Center was absolutely beautiful! We drove 4 hours to get there! I didn't get home until 4:50am the next day, and had to work! Definitely would do it again though! The show did not disappoint other than the fact that it had to end. 😜 We really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks so much for a great time!!
They were truly fantastic! They always throughly entertain me, each and every time I see them. If you’re one of those people that say “Oh I seen them back in the 70/80’s they were good”. Go see them now they’re awesome! I believe this is the best version of Cheap Trick EVER! I’ve been a fan for 45 years and seen them so many times I’ve lost count. Trust me you won’t be disappointed!
The performance was great, but they didn't event play a half hour. 4-5 song set. Energetic and engaging, great musicians and performers, and certainly hope to see them perform a full show at some point.
My buddy I went with only really wanted to see The HU and was super disappointed. I'm happy I had Megadeth as well, but for HU fans, a performance this short had to be disappointing.
Excellent! Started off with energetic takes on 7 consecutive big Black Keys fan favorites that spanned 20 years. I got Mine, Howlin’ for You, Fever, Tighten Up, Your Touch, It Ain’t Over, and Gold on the Ceiling. If they’d sprinkled just those songs amongst 15 clunkers, it would still have been a good concert. But wait, there’s more!
Next they invited Delta Kream collaborators and veteran “Delta Blues” blues men Kenny Brown (slide guitar) and Eric Dearon (bass) to the stage. Together they ripped through a half dozen covers of the likes of Junior Kimbrough and John Lee Hooker. The effect was mesmerizing.
They hit the home stretch with eight songs that skewed newer, including several off their latest album, Dropout Boogie.
The encore was a double barrel satisfier. When I spied an acoustic being adjusted by the guitar tech, I hoped Little Black Submarines would surface, and it did. And the crowd went wild!
And then they closed with Lonely Boy! Bam!
Great show. Band Of Horses impressed with their one hour set. Most notably with their two big hits ‘No one’s gonna love you’ and ‘the funeral’ . Really impressive was the lead singer’s flawless falsetto. And the long haired, jacked-armed bassist was fun to watch as he jumped all around the stage. In isolation, you couldn’t be faulted for thinking you were watching a Metallica cover band by watching him.
Opener Early James from Birmingham impressed in a style about 180 degrees removed from Band of Horses. Early’s overalls were a good match for his booming voice. He would join the Black Keys later to play guitar on one number. His guitarist played lap steel on a few of their songs.
The weather was perfect, and in Northeast Ohio in The Black Keys’ backyard that won’t be true for long. It made the magic of the music that much more precious.
Powerman 5000 is absolutely horrible. Static X blew everyone away. Haven’t seen them since Wayne(RIP) past and they kicked ass. Coming back in March and I can’t wait. Mudvayne was awesome. Those guys just punch you in the face for about 45 mins. Rob Zombie has completely lost it. His vocals are horrible and he can’t finish the lyrics. It’s time to hang it up Rob.
Styx was awesome! REO Speed Wagon was awesome!! Loverboy was awesome. Rain/lightning delayed Blossom opening the venue...let the people in who had pavilion tickets...that is safer and you stay dry in the pavilion vs. stand outside in rain and lightning. Loverboy played a short set due to the late start....overall it was good, but open up and let people in even if it is raining...better to be under the pavilion then standing outside in the rain.... Only other negative is very poor cell phone reception there and the Blossom wifi is bad...even employees had trouble running credit cards and they don't take cash...take cash if you cant process credit cards....
What a great show! I bought tickets for NF, the opener, but then checked out Logic since he was the main act and I fell in love. I had never heard of Logic before. I got tickets a couple months in advance and by the time the show came around, I knew most of his songs. I didn’t even watch NF because I was so excited for Logic. I’ve been stalking Logic’s tour dates page since waiting for him to come close to where I live for another show. New favorite artist, even before seeing the concert. So excited for the next tour!
