Was my First concert and it was absolutely amazing Billie Eilish is my #1 all time favourite artist and was such a amazing experience to see her live her and her music have helped me through a lot and it meant the world to be able to see her in person and the Opener Towa Bird was amazing as well loved her music and the energy she brought and would definitely wanna see them both again in the future
So I was blown away by Gojira and Spiritbox. But was pretty unimpressed with Korn''s set. Empty stage with nothing interesting about it. The whole show took a step backwards in the energy.
Probably doesn't help that I was never a big fan of the band anyway so I'm just telling myself it was a Gojira headlined show
And everything after that... I'll try to tune out.
Saw Filter with Ministry, Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie last night. Filter being in the lineup played big into me buying tickets. I have loved them since I first heard them back in 1995/1996. They did not disappoint and put on an awesome show. They sounded great, and I happily sang along to every song. Thank you Filter!
Alice Cooper ft. Nita Strauss was EPIC - what a great performer…at 76 freaking years old! Found it funny there was a dude with a megaphone and salvation sign out front of the venue (and a woman with him handing out tracts for Jesus) that didn’t believe me that Alice Cooper is a strong Christian (can’t speak for Rob Zombie; my guess is no on him 😝) I told them he’s probably has stronger faith then them and that if Jesus was at the show he’d be inside with us “sinners” not outside with the Pharisees - they didn’t seem to like that.
Loved how it started by going back to the 80s and working forward, but then it just jumped all over, and the outfit changes took forever between songs. No opener made for little to no energy to start the show, a dj does not cut it and going on at 10:15 when the median age in the audience is 45+ makes for a low energy night. It was also 80 degrees in the arena, per the divas requirements, which made for an uncomfortable night. People were streaming out at 11:30 with half the set list left.
But when she was on and singing it was very good. And a spectacle to enjoy. Just tidy it up to the greatest hits start earlier and everyone would be back multiple times.
I flew in from Seattle to see GVF, and I was blown away. I’m almost 61, and the last time I had that much fun at a rock concert was back when I saw Rush and KISS at separate shows in 1977, and Van Halen in 1979. What a joy to hear album-oriented-rock, AOR, again! I loved seeing the young people get into it, too.! 😊
I may be a much older fan being that I will be 70 in a few months but this concert was like reliving concerts in my 20’s.
GVF caught the essence of rock concerts of the late 60’s early seventies with a modern feel. The only complaint I had was the people who sat to the side and front of us. They blocked our view for the whole concert and we’re very loud and obnoxious. At least in the 70’s everyone cared about other people experience as well as their own.
She is amazing & the show was no different!
She took time for audience work and she was really funny. She was very vulnerable.
Which I feel like it broke down the vulnerability of the crowd.
Her voice is absolutely magic. Her songs are so emotional and she gives you so many feelings!
Her range is just incredible!
Moral of the story is go and see
Jessie Reyes If she ever comes to your town!!
AMAZING! Despite the harsh spotty sound difficulties, the three artists were fantastic. The only difference from when I saw Nickelback in Omaha back in the very early 2Ks, is they’ve now got decades of experience and exposure for great storytelling. I LOVED it!
I’m now a huge Josh Ross fan and will follow his career closely.
The last comment I have is kudos to patriotic Brantley Gilbert (and Nickelback for that matter) speaking their minds loud and proud in a very democratic city. MAD RESPECT, boys!!
Hayley, Zac, Taylor and backing band, “Parafour” put on an absolutely incredible show. I’ve been a Paramore fan for about 10 years, but had never seen them live until last night, and the experience did not disappoint. Hayley’s stage presence is truly infectious and her live vocals sound even better than the recorded versions. The setlist was a really nice mix of their older albums (mainly RIOT, Self Titled and After Laughter) as well as songs off their new album This Is Why, with some pleasantly surprising inclusions of songs from Hayley’s solo albums and Zac’s band Halflives. The openers, The Linda Lindas and FOALS were okay enough, but I’m not likely to return to their music in the future. Overall an incredible experience for my first Paramore concert and absolutely not my last
Fan-freaking-tastic show overall. Timing, transitions, and setup for openers was spot on. Paramore is one of those bands I recommend to literally anyone regardless of how well they know them. Well organized show with what I consider to be perfect production value that adds to the experience instead of being distracting. Hayley Williams is by far one of the best performers I have had the pleasure to experience life.
I admit I’ve never seen a Bruce show before although I’ve always appreciated his music and intense lyrics. And while if I would never have seen his show in my lifetime, I wouldn’t know what I might have missed, having seen it, I was totally blown away and the energy and appreciation for what I witnessed won’t leave my any time soon.
Blake’s concert was awesome! He’s revamped his show from the past few years. New stage, new graphics on the big screens but Blake is as charismatic as ever. He can work a crowd with the best of them. Opening acts were great too. Wasn’t familiar with Jackson Dean before but he made a goood impression. And Carly Pearce was stellar like always. Awesome show all around! Go if you can!
Could be the best concert I've ever been to, and that's saying something given some of the acts I've seen. Brandi played for over 3 hours, and she could have played for more. She gave her all to the whole performance. She was exceptional and so was her band. It was great to see her playing where she started, and the crowd definitely embraced having her home. Her band member even recorded the crowd on her phone because of how electric it was at the venue! So many people in the audience took out their phone to turn on the light for Brandi, it looked like the venue lights turned on!
But really, her voice was amazing. I actually cried on a couple songs (I don't cry at concerts!) she was so powerful and moving. I would recommend seeing her to anyone. If you don't know her music, it doesn't matter (but seriously, get your shit together!) she will blow you away! My husband didn't know her music that well and now he's totally on the Brandi Carlile wagon.
Garbage was awesome! The sound was killer, the band was great and Shirley was amazing. Just a great set. We actually went as my wiife wanted to see Alanis. Alanis was good but Garbage was better on many different levels! The level of professionalism and sound quality was night and day. Garbage should have been the headliner. My wife is a new Garbage fan now!
Elton was just as fabulous as I expected. Never in my lifetime did I think I’d be able to attend one of his shows, but it was an absolute dream come true. After missing him in London two years ago (he was at the premier for the movie Rocketman — I was TWO Tube stations away!!), this definitely made up for that loss. I would’ve stayed all night listening to him play if I could!
I’ve been to over 60 shows in my 26 years and this was hands down the best show I’ve been to. As someone who has loved the Jonas Brothers since 2007, this was very nostalgic and fantastic to experience as a 26 year old. Great energy, wonderful visuals, and seeing them on stage singing all of their old and new songs was truly incredible. thank you, Jo Bros 🙌🥰🤩💕
Loved it! My dad and l had a blast! Queen and Adam were incredible! Adam has such an incredible voice:) The only thing l would say is since we were a little on the higher side with our seats, l wish the arena would work on moving some of their upper lighting fixtures out of the screens way so that l could get a better view of them. That’s my only complaint though👍🏻
Was up in the 24th row 2 sections ahead of the stage. The visual effects were amazing but the view wasn’t that great, the bag policy was unnecessary, parents of Ariana fans were rude, and the merchandise table was utterly understaffed for having a sold out concert with a world renowned pop star headlining. The concert started right away which was really nice but social house had a performance that was less than 15 minutes. Normani’s performance was 45-60 minutes. Ariana was done by 11. Fun concert but not someone I’d go see again.
The energy was amazing! Shawn is a great musician and it's also fun! I love taking my teenagers and we have such a memorable experience together. He impresses me every time; he played two pianos and a few guitars. I like that he had another location that he performed on besides the main stage so more people could have a vantage point. I love the led bracelets too.
