I RATE JACKSON DEAN 6☆ OUT OF 5☆ HE'S THAT GOOD! BY FAR THE BEST GIG I'VE EVER BEEN TO!! If he played multiple dates here I'd be back every time! By Far My Favourite All-Time 'Live Act' Including Some Of The Biggest Names In Country, Pop & Rock!!! The smooth soulful tones of Jackson Dean's gravel, whiskey & smoke-filled vocals sound better 'Live' than on album. He & the band ROCKED us outta our boots! And he gave me his guitar pick! Not only an incredible on-stage act, but a genuinely humble guy/band who've known each other since their teens & gave one hellova unforgetable VIP meet & greet experience. One I'd gladly pay 4 again (B4 the show with an intimate mini acoustic set, Q&A, chat, photo op & signing, a signed lyric sheet of Jane & tour lanyard). The Gov is a brilliant venue with friendly/helpful staff that allows the crowd up close & personal to the stage. The crowd loved every minute of Jackson & band's 1st ever Adelaide Show. Many of us singing his lyrics right along with him! I sure hope it won't be his last. A huge fan of his music since 2022 & hearing that voice, I stalked Jackson on his socials since 2023 when he promised me he'd come to Adelaide on his very next tour (unfortunately dates for 24' tour had already been set) so I was blown away when he kept his promise & came to Adelaide this year (most international skip Adelaide touring only the Eastern States). Thanks for a Bloody Great Night Jackson & Boys. Loved every friggin' minute!

WSS put on such an energetic, roller coaster ride of a show. The set list was a satisfying spread of songs from across their history. The playing was on point. The interaction with the crowd was so much fun. Nothing beats seeing a band with so much passion like this in a venue as intimate as The Gov.

So happy I got to see Kyle play live with the band on their last run. Wallflower for the last time? Sad. Hurts good. I lost a stretcher tunnel. Looking forward to what comes next from this new beginning. 10/10 night. Was in the pit for every band, such a good line up. Thank you.

Fantastic energy brought by the entire band. I hadn't caught Magic Dirt live for ~18 years, so it was pretty neat to bathe in the heavy riffs and catch some of their new/er stuff live. Very enjoyable to watch the new-to-me bassist & drummer join Adalita & Raul in having a good time on stage and absolutely rocking out. I enjoyed the bass players energy so much, that I think I've developed a "thing" for the hairstyle - accompanied by that rock-out energy.. "Watch out boys"! Also my first time at The Gov, which was a great venue with solid dinner/pre-gig-energy-loading choices plus the staff kept the tea/coffee machine/s pumping for me throughout the gig - I operate on sugar and caffeine so this was much appreciated. The venue allowed for a good range of viewing/listening/sitting/standing points & floor surfaces - my pogo-ing/flailing/moshing legs/ankles appreciated the smooth flooring sections.

Sixth time I’ve seen Pseudo Echo in 5 years. Every time they get better and better. Brian Canham owned the stage. The huge surprise packet was 20 year old drummer, Abbie Lula. Played solidly for 2 hours with a constant smile on her face. A great talent and very modest young lady…. Remember the name Special thanks to James Mudd for getting some gear signed by the band! 👍🏼

Great as always, played for almost 2 hours with Zia closing it out with some synth. Sound set up wasn’t the best with vocals being a bit low but love that they are still rocking and mixing new music with their older classics. Will keep seeing them every time they come out.

Under 18 was probably a smart financial decision but I’m going to be honest the crowd being there just for lone star was the weirdest thing I have ever seen. I love seeing new fans but they seemed to be hating being there the entire time and just would record certain parts of songs. But the set list for absolutely amazing I couldn’t ask for more bangers.

I have a mate in Arizona that keeps sending me links or info about bands or artists that are coming to Australia, tells me they're a must see, sometimes they're not playing Adelaide, making it difficult, these guys I'd never heard of,but they played a favourite local venue ,so it was easy... totally entertained all night , hopefully I'll see them again if my plans to visit my mate come good.

Loved every minute of it. Heard songs that I didn’t know - great format. Lots of fun and the songs were so meaningful. John explained why he wrote them - so powerful. The most entertaining gig I have been too. The venue was its usual standard- excellent- and the cover band was a plus.

Holy Holy are one of those bands that sound even better live. There's a richness and energy to their arrangements that has to be experienced in person, and Tim's vocals are flawless. It was such a treat to have full sets from Clews and Kwaame too. All in all, an absolutely phenomenal show.

Such fun. Lots of crowd pleasers. Good god, the singer can SANG. She has amazing range! She took on Don't lose sight by Lawrence (look it up) and won. I've never seen anyone try that song live. She soared over Purple Rain and the hairs on my arm stood up. She nailed both Ariana and Jesse's parts in Bang Bang.

Geoff Tates voice is a powerhouse and he can hit those high notes and hold them. 👂The band was fantastic.♥️ The setlist was amazing with the two different set lists from Rage for order and Empire👍He was friendly at the meet and greet and very kind to sign a few things for everybody and do a pic with them.✌️ The merch was cool with more autographed cds for sale.😁

It was a Stirling effort by the band who looked a bit worn out but gave it their all. Poor Margo Timmons was clearly suffering from some sort of cold (later confirmed as a respiratory infection leading to the Perth, Australia show being cancelled). Had waited 3 years to see the band return to Oz so glad they did perform the show even if it wasn’t at the top of their game. I look forward to seeing them perform again in Australia in a year or two .

Seth and the crew were sensational. Replaying the album that soundtracked a transition from teenager to young adulthood, a nostalgic experience for many. Seth didn’t miss a beat all night, showing why he is one of the premier Aussie Hiphop artists of all time. His crowd interaction was brilliant and helped cultivate an energetic and enthusiastic audience, who lapped up everything he threw at them. Brilliant performance, and an even better experience.

Outstanding concert, the band never fails to impress. Adding a percussionist//second drummer and a 3rd guitar/keyboards creates enormous sonic depth. Having two of Australia's finest guitarists in Ash Naylor and Ian Haug doesn't hurt either! Incredible energy from the band matched by the crowds enthusiasm, which was rewarded with two encores. We drove across from Melbourne just to give our teenage daughter the chance to see one of her favourite bands, and it was well worth the effort. We'd probably go to the Northcote gig as well if it was an all-ages event but for some reason Melbourne pub gigs are always strictly 18 plus. Annoying!

The evening with Hollow Coves was a lovely night out for anyone, of any age… and it did seem as though the audience was an eclectic one at that. Hollow Coves’ music is approachable and harmonious., a delightful break from the everyday. They built a good rapport with the audience and seemed to enjoy themselves as well, which added to the enjoyment of their audience immensely. A concert is an experience as well as a night of music… a good concert takes the listener on a journey with the band, takes them on some of the ride the band’s taken - and Hollow Coves took us on that journey with a great deal of pleasure. I wouldn’t hesitate to go on that journey with them again. And I believe, with their wondrous sound, theirs will be a long one, along with the likes of Kings of Convenience, Jon and Roy and Jack. Johnson! Go and see them when they’re near you and make those moments last….

My only complain is that Stand Atlantic didn't play 'drink to drown' but the rest of the show more than makes up for it. They're insanely good live performers. With Confidence's set was also everything I wanted it to be. I had never heard The Sunday Estate's music before but I loved their set so I'm going to check it out It was an awesome night.

Top shelf show for Gomez fans, or just fans of a big voice in good form. Many Gomez favourites in the set, which got a reworking to suit 2 guitars, or 1 guitar and synth drums and trim, and I think all came up very well. A couple of new Gomez songs, 1 or 2 I recognised from Ben's first solo album, and I think 3 covers. Not sure Ben announced anything as from Rattlebag, but there may have been a song or 2 I didn't recognise on the night. Strong show, highlight for me if I had to pick one was How We Operate, even though I tend to prefer their earlier stuff.

Both bands rocked, The Angels in their home town really pumped the hits, crowd loved it. PA at the Gov really great. Crisp and LOUD as it should be. Kicked, well on in the front snug bar after the gig, sinking a few pints of Guinness listening to some Irish folkies knocking out reel after reel as they do. Top night out. Hung over, doing it all again Saturday night. 🤘

We Lost the Sea stole the show with an incredible set. Unfortunately Russian Circles experienced unavoidable complications with their gear and used equipment and instruments from the supporting acts, and while they put on a great show, it was evident that they were struggling - especially to the end of their set.
