An absolutely stunning performance !!! First time ever seeing Clutch live and it was incredible !!! The engineering of the sound was so well balanced and produced; it sounded like someone was playing their CD's !!! But, the best thing about the sound quality was being able to feel the sound surrounding us. It was my brother Darryl's birthday month on his 50th birthday. Clutch is his favorite band. We had a great time together; getting to experience Clutch live. After that live show; I got hooked on Clutch. They are a "must see live" band. Their dedication to giving high quality entertainment; deserves 10+ stars !!!
Shadows Fall do now and have always just kicked a*s personally I do not think there is another band out there that can touch them, why they aren't bigger than they are is beyond me. I mean come on you've got Matt with his magic f*****g rhythm hand and backing vocals, Jon just ripping and shredding face melting solos, Paul metal/punk styles melded into almost Lemmy level thunder, Jason's timing and skill is just f*****g unbelievable one of metals best drummers hands down and with Brian's vocals go from melodic to death metal growl to h******e and back i mean these guys have got it all it just s***s that people just don't see the f*****g talent this band has in spades. You sirs are now and have been the benchmark for me since The Art of Balance and the fist and only band that I like every song on every album . Through thick and thin I am a Shadows Fall Fan. Thank you guys for all the just f*****g awesome music
Jonathan was so anointed, and he brought in some of his top hits with his Christmas hits. I truly enjoyed myself and he has a special talent that brings people joy. I fell back in love with music again. He has a beautiful voice. Thank you Dr. McReynolds!
Dr. Felicia
The Red & Green Tour at Minglewood Hall was phenomenal! Jonathan McReynolds and his band ushered in the presence of God; it truly lifted my spirits, and restored my consciousness of the true reason for the season!
They were fantastic! The opener was pretty good too, so overall a pretty solid night. They played all their hits minus a few fan favorites. A few new ones was a nice surprise. Great night!
Damn good!! Also personally would’ve loved the illusion and doubt album art as a t shirt and maybe a tour poster (honestly more bands need to start that back up again imo) but!!!!! that’s honestly quite fine just me being picky hehehhe
Honestly had no idea who these 3 were before the show but holy f**k I was absolutely blown away by how much I enjoyed their entire set, which is saying something cus I’m usually a one or two good songs per set kinda guy BUT EVERYONE OF THEM WERE SO F****N GOOD U HAVE NO IDEA!!!!! y’all all rock fr!😎💪
Also shout out to Steve for being a very cool dude and putting up with my motormouth lol
Great concert. Small venue, so close proximity and lots of interaction with the crowd. Fun time, sounded great (though very loud), the crowd was fired up. Brother Cane was in great form - they haven't lost a step in 30 years!
This man is amazing in person! He put on one heck of a show! He had people dancing in the aisles and audience participation was on point! He said he would return to Memphis again and I will be right there to see him again!
I had read an online concert review before Pat Metheney’s Memphis show. The review said the music was good but Metheny didn’t say anything to the crowd. That’s what I expected but got the exact opposite. Metheny walked on stage and immediately starting talking about his music, friends and family in a very engaging way. A few minutes into it he said he had spoken more tonight than he ever spoken. Ever! It was great to hear the music and the stories behind them. Come back again soon Pat Metheny¡ 34 years between visits is way too long. Oh, next time if you can book the Cannon Center. Better acoustics for a master musician!
Pat Metheny is simply the greatest living guitarist/jazz stylist I can imagine. His talent is extreme and the complexity and color of his "voicings" is striking. I've attended five live appearances of his over a 40-year period and came away every single time completely awe-struck and inspired by his dynamics. The one this time (Minglewood Hall) was a solo effort, but of course, Pat plays with enough range and expertise that he doesn't sound alone. And it was refreshing to have him share some of the details of his past and coming to the industry as he did. Pat makes having ears and a sense of rhythm a thorough treat. His performances are engaging, uplifting, unique and set the highest bar possible for the genres he occupies. I hope to hear much more from him over many years ahead. Excellent!
This group of musicians have an incredible sound that’s hypnotically danceable, it’s rhythmically complex and with clear tonalities and harmony. The two brothers voices have that charismatic interlocking sibling sound and the drums inspire the audience to dance freely and wild while exploring the Latin/American hybrid sounds. When they play a venue which has great sound quality they really show their talents.
The venue was cool, a quick walk from our hotel, and couldn’t dream to complain about the man himself. It was a great show, and awesome to see his presence and command of the stage grow even since the beginning of the Bronco tour. Look forward to the next show I can attend!
As a great grandma, who absolutely loves your music, I was so impressed my your generosity, sincerity and courtesy for the crowd. Also, overwhelmed by how thoughtful your fans are for you and for each other. Keep doing what you’re doing, we need artists that give it their all!
THE best show I’ve been to! Polyphia and Unprocessed are a force to be reckoned with in their own right. If you are a guitar fan or drum fan do yourself a favor and don’t miss the chance for a live show! They KILLED IT!
Wonderful show! From the openers to the main actor, it was a blast! Got fist bumps from every band, a guitar pic, and everything that the VIP package gives you. It was an awesome night! I can’t feel my legs today and I’m pretty sure I blew an eardrum. It was a blast! Tons of energy from the bands, it was definitely a show you wouldn’t want to miss!
Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real were amazing!! It was a phenomenal show! Loved the songs I was used to hearing from them but was really loving the new music for sure. Totally a great music experience! Can’t wait to hear them again.
The band was awesome as always!!! Minglewood Hall's AC was not working and it got real hot in there.
I would hang out in a tornado to hear my favorite band Lukas Nelson and POTR!!!! A little bit of AC would have been nice for the band as well as the fans!!!!!!
The show was great, the venue left a lot to be desired. For me as a older person the lack of availability of chairs to sit down was not acceptable and I will not be going back to the venue. I do not think anywhere in the show listing did it say that general admission meant standing up the whole time. That may be acceptable for the young crowd but not for me. Wish I could have stayed for the whole show because Mandolin Orange were exceptional the amount that I was able to see but sitting on the floor was not an acceptable alternative which I tried and I stood as long as I could until I had to leave.
Unbelievable band and even more unbelievable songs. I can't say enough great things about Fevertree. Their CD is flawless. 12 amazing true stories of life, love and lessons. On a scale of 1-10, they're a 15 and climbing.
