The Sinclair

Transformative. MIKE not only puts on a genuine, exceptional performance, but gives space to let his boys shine in a way that I’ve never seen another artist replicate. We were just as excited to see them as they were excited to perform, and I don’t think I’ve been in a room with that many people who were just down with it like everyone there.

Great live band. If you love Folk and Americana music, The Strumbellas are one of the best groups to listen to and see live! Saw them in 2019 with Simon Ward on vocals and guitar at an outdoor venue in Quebec City (about 15,000 people), it was awesome. Saw them with the new vocalist Jimmy Chauveau in Boston at The Sinclair (about 500 people). Jimmy did a great job on the old songs as well as the new ones. Great energy, and they sounded amazing. Dave and Isabel add such a great vibe and talented vocals to such great songs. I love Isabels Violin playing. Jon is a talented guitarist and Darryls bass playing in spot on.Their drummer was holding down the beat with precision and adding nice fills( although I was 100% sure it was Jeremy, he looked different with real short hair) Anyway, this band works so well together and the lyrics may deal with struggle and heartache, but gives so much hope and joy, they are a must see band!

They were good ,but Jonas Renkse was having serious problems with his mic. It was hard at times to make out the vocals. They were also missing a second guitarist,but lead guitarist Anders Nystrom was incredible as always. I have seen them twice before & have all their CD's but one. They just didn't seem quite as good as I remember them.

more hype than i expected, but i was happy to be on the mezzanine. normally id be towards the front in pit but this isnt that kind of music imo. that being said, its all well worth seeing live! the opener, girlpuppy, was excellent. brought my musician friend who isnt familiar with ritt momney and he was blown away by both acts. jack played music from every album, as well as a crowd request and a few seemingly unreleased songs (unless they are somewhere other than spotify). we even got a double encore! seems like a great guy who can sing like an angel. jack ritter and co know how to put on a show. he then met fans after the show at merch. also, was very surprised at how young the crowd was. definitely popular among college kids. im 25 and i felt old haha

Brent and the band were great, but the soundboard person dropped the ball. Brent's voice needed more volume. If you didn't know the lyrics you wouldn't have a clue what he was singing. Moved about the venue to see if it improved in other areas but it wasn't the venue to blame.

I can't believe that I've never been to the Sinclair! it's a great venue! Love the size, the vibe, everything. Meg was beyond amazing - she is truly an amazing artist. I'm not sure how she is so under the radar!! I've been wanting to see her for so long and so happy I got to.

The band was awesome! I organized a group of 6 of us and we could not say enough about how much the band captured the actual sound of the real band. Amazing! I will be tracking these guys and will see them whenever they are nearby in the future. The lead member even had Bruce's mannerisms down to a tee. The only thing I would say is that he did put a little bit of his own spin on some of the songs by changing the inflections in his voice from time to time where we are there to hear the songs played exactly as the original artist would sing it. But that is a minor detail and as I said, we will be seeing this band again. Also a great venue. We stood up in the balcony almost directly across from the stage looking down on the crowd and the band. Awesome place to see a show the band really nailed it!

To be honest, I was disappointed. I drove from Sherbrooke Canada to finally see you for the first time. But I felt a lack of energy and enthusiasm and I couldn't understand why none of the classics like Minas de cobre, Cumbia de donde, Chrystal Frontiers of Inspiration have not been playing... When you announced a "live streaming" for the next concert, I understood everything. Back home, I bought the captation and what I thought happened. A different show, an extraordinary string bass solo, the songs I was dying to hear and you were so more happy and energic! I'm sorry to say that but you should have done only one night. It would have been fairer for the people who assisted to the first concert. But I still love you guys and hope to see you again.

I haven’t been to the Sinclair for quite a while, so it was a joy to be there again, as I love the venue and vibe, with really friendly and helpful staff. I did enjoy the show as well, but was a bit surprised at how short IH’s set was. There were two very good (and disparate) openers, so it was a full night of tunes, though it’s been a long time since a show I’ve been to ended before 10pm! It was a Sunday night, I guess, but it definitely left you wanting more.

I don't normally go all 5 stars for a show but this one was insanely awesome. Otoboke Beaver is flawless live and they obviously love their fans. They give it their utmost! I recommend seeing them at least once if you like straight up, no apologies punk rock. The Sinclair was also a great venue to see them perform at too.

One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to! I forgot how much fun concerts are since I haven’t been in years and this was literally the best night. Inhaler was absolutely amazing to see live, the venue made it really easy to be really close to the stage and see everything. Sound was great. Would absolutely recommend to anyone to see them in concert; best night ever!!

It's hard to believe my ticket for this concert cost less than one tenth of what I've paid to see some of the big-name, mainstream artists out there. And, in many ways, Mansionair was much better! They definitely did NOT disappoint! We were able to get right up front, and lean on the stage (no buffer area). So this was one of the most intimate concerts I've ever seen. They came out pretty much right on time, and did a great selection of 12 songs, plus one encore. Jack's vocals were spot-on, and he definitely had a great time - and some really fun (and funny) interactions with the audience.

one of the best artists i’ve seen live. he was the opener but what’s funny is i no longer listen to the main act i originally went for, but i still listen to alexander lol. i met him afterwards too he was very nice. i missed his first headlining concert here but i wanna see him whenever he comes back :) i remember following him on ig while i was in the pit n he had 8k and he’s grown so much! and for good reason he’s very talented i recommend.

I actually flew from Seattle to see the show. I never thought I would have the chance. They went on hiatus right when I discovered them. (Thanks to a discerning pub’s Pandora stream) I had collected all the albums before hearing of the show. The Mammals, by the way, where surprising. The role reversal was beautiful. It is one of the best and most rewarding things I’ve done. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Great show, loved the added band members. Only wish they mixed in a bit more of their energetic material with the slow acoustic songs, but that’s more a reflection of my personal taste. I like to dance and have fun when I’m standing around with strangers. Wye Oak forever 🙂

He is an extremely talented, entertaining musician who I will definitely see again. Although the sparse, folksy beauty of his guitar&vocals-only songs definitely deserves the space he gives it, I was hungry for a few more of his heavier, rawer, bluesy jams—jams that my taste has me praising as his best. Thank you for an amazing show! Looking forward to more, Austin

Amigo was amazing!!!! Never heard pf the 2openers. They were good as well!!! I ended up covered in red sticky shit from twin temple which was a bit annoying. Next time ill wear a poncho. The fluid they throw out is way stickier than GWAR’s! Lol. Awesome night nonetheless!

I LOVED IT SO MUCH they are the absolute nicest people I’ve met. They play so well live (legit sound perfect) and after the show they’ll grab a drink and chill! It’s perfect. Best money I’ve spent. Only thing I’ll say is Luke’s mic was quiet. That’s all. They’re perfect :)

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS CONCERT! BEA IS AN EXTRAORDINARY YOUNG WOMEN BUILT WITH A LOVING, STRONG WILLED HEART. OUTSTANDING & INCREDIBLE AND MY MOST FAVORITE CONCERT THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN! I CAN'T WAIT TO MEET YOU AT YOUR NEXT TOUR BECAUSE UNFORTUNATELY I WAS FOOLED BY BOTS AND WAS NOT ABLE TO GET THE CORRECT TICKETS. EVEN SO, I LOVED THIS CONCERT SO MUCH AND BEA WAS AN AMAZING PERFORMER!

They played the whole new album to start off a great show! The new songs are terrific! That also played quite a few past favorites! Jeremy Messersmith was a nice first act. Unfortunately we missed some of his songs but enjoyed what we saw. 5 stars Eric and Believers!!
