Fan Reviews
First time at Kent Stage. Better than I expected. Comfortable seats, decent leg room, good size.
Joanne Shaw Taylor. I’ve been a fan for 15 years and I’ve finally got to see her.
Incredibly talented. Great guitarist, great singer. They started right on time.
My only regret is I wish she would have performed longer.
I’ve got tickets for another concert there and looking forward to it.
Carbon Leaf never disappoints. Spectacular playlist and lighting. The energy and talent of all five members of the band are phenomenal.
The Kent Stage venue was great. I have seen Carbon Leaf at four different venues and Kent Stage is the favorite, thus far.
I spent the weekend with Carbon Leaf at both a Cincinnati venue and Kent Stage. I took three new people unfamiliar with Carbon Leaf--they are now huge fans.
Crowd was less than enthusiastic. Too many dinosaurs that would not get on their feet. Parents, start bringing your kids to concerts so their will be a next generation of fans.
Pablo Cruise was in one small word - FUN! It was great hearing the music and boy, can Robbie sing. They still can play and they sounded great. Since this was a smaller venue, the guys in the band hung out a bit afterwards. I was able to get Cory and David's autographs, pictures with them too, along with bassist, Larry Antonino. I was not aware that Larry was a "movie star" since he played "Wolfman" in the Movie - That Thing You Do. I wish I had brought my CD and Album for autographs too. This concert was well worth it. I hope they come back around again. I would go a second time. My only disappointment was that they didn't play their newest hit, Breathe. I was looking forward to it since it epitomizes what is going on in our society over these past few years.
Enjoyed the whole show, including the warm up band.
The drawback was, it was very warm in the venue and the seating is very difficult to understand. If it were not for ushers, I could foresee arguments and most concert goers never finding their seats.
The bands were fantastic. Great music.
The venue however left a bit to be desired. The AC wasn't working causing the theater to boil in human heat! Add the dancing manic, who apparently got off on TTWS, and his encroachment into my girlfriend's space, made for an interesting evening experience.
The couple to our left bought seats 11 and 12. Unfortunately, there wasn't a chair located in the spot for seat 12. The remedy by the venue . . .a metal folding chair!
What a great night! Glen was in fine voice (as was Todd and Dean) and the boys were playing really tight! What an awesome set with a Sean Watkins cover done acoustic by Glen with Jon on mandolin. Too many other highlights to list! Definitely want to see them again soon!
This is my favorite Blue Grass Band in the whole Country. Unfortunately I was unable to go to this one , but I'm hoping they will plan to visit northeast Ohio regularly, because I was very very disappointed that I could not make it to this show.... Please encourage them to visite Northeast Ohio more often...... !!!!!!!!
Grew up in Ohio and I've never been to Kent. Looks lovely. Kent Stage was fantastic. Kirk Thurmond (opener) was lovely, and Morgan (et al) were absolutely soulful and moving as always!
I’ve seen the church a lot and that was the best show they’ve done. They played for almost 3 hours and Steve Kilby talked a lot. They had some technical difficulties but that added to the genuine sincerity of the show.
First time at this venue and all employees were so friendly and helpful. The Dirt Band put on the best show. I have been wanting to see this band for about 25 years and I was very impressed and just totally enjoyed them. Will look forward to more concerts at this venue. Thank you
Dan and Gaven put on a fantastic show. They were warm, funny, and conversational. The music was a 12 out of 10. One of the best shows I've ever seen. The 90 minutes flew by, as they made it feel like we were all just sitting in a living room getting to know one another. After the show, Dan signed autographs and spent time with anyone who wanted to meet him.
This was a fantastic concert! I've always loved John McCutcheon's voice. But to hear his funny stories, and to watch him play the piano, the hammer dulcimer and the banjo as well as his guitar was a musical bonanza. I also found his concert to be incredibly soothing and calming: the perfect antidote to the pre-election vitriol.
Thank you!
Hayes Carll-Kent Stages 9-3-22
Hayes was a great story teller. He told stories about writing w Guy Clark and RWH, his early career in Houston, Galveston, Austin, rescuing a Great Dane, last time he played Kent Stages and how the Cavs won the championship. Came on shortly after 8pm and played close to two hours.

Jordan is a great talent and has a tremendous catalog of music and always entertaining. He is humble and down-to-earth and just a great entertainer. He came out after the show to greet fans and overall was just a wonderful night with him.
This guy is so talented and the musicians on stage with him are as well. If you ever have a chance to see this show you need to do it! You won’t be disappointed.
Great show! Wonderful to see Pat giving exposure to younger musicians like Marcus Gilmore and James Francies. Both are fantastic and formed a tight trio with Pat. The highlight of the evening was the 40 minutes of new music in the middle of the show, a new long-form piece by Pat that included an orchestrion. Wow! Sure hope this piece makes it onto a record someday.
Awesome show by Great band that Gets IT. See them every time they come nearby. Kent Stage venue is a classic joint to see a show at. Well done fellas. See you down the road
Ana and her band were great! Each band member is a top notch musician and Ana is an outstanding guitarist. They were so tight! A GREAT concert!
