It was nice glad she is solo I love her a lot but the backdrop wasn’t really there if that made sense it was kinda pointless especially when it wasn’t the lyrics on the screen and I feel like she could’ve wait to call people on stage till the very last min then close out with no bars or something but I love her a lot you can tell she kinda shy also

Hands down the best concert that I have attended! Not only did the girl kill it on stage, I didn’t feel over crowded and everyone on the staff and crew were super helpful and friendly! I would recommend the venue and the queen to anyone who asks!

Chappell was amazing, but the long wait times to enter the venue and 2.5 hours to take the stage, it was so incredibly hot. People were literally collapsing in the audience due to low a/c at The Vic. We were all overcome with humidity and feeling uneasy in my section.

About The Vic Theatre

In 1912, The Victoria Theater opened as an alternative to the more expensive fare playing in Chicago’s notorious downtown venues. An article in the Chicago Tribune – one of many rave reviews – predicted the theatre would become one of Chicago’s most popular priced houses. Initially built to host vaudeville and touring stage shows, The Vic – as it’s now known – would prove to be one of the more adaptable and resilient such buildings in town, all the while remaining a stable anchor in the ever-changing landscape of the Lakeview neighborhood.
