Lobero Theatre
The Lobero Theatre has been the heart and rhythm of Santa Barbara for over 150 years. Registered as a state and city historical landmark, it was recently named as one of Architectural Digest’s “11 Most Beautiful Theaters in the World.” The theater has also been voted year after year as One of the Best Jazz Venues in the World by leading jazz magazine, DownBeat. Originally founded as Jose Lobero’s Opera House in 1873, it is the oldest continuously operating theatre in California and the fourth oldest performing arts theater in the country. Providing a stage for some of the world’s finest performers, the Lobero inspires diverse audiences of all ages. Events feature an exciting variety of contemporary music performances, jazz, classical music, comedy, opera, dance, and lectures.

Amazing to be in the same room with such a legend. I was so thankful to finally see Justin live! It was an incredible experience shared with others who love him and the Moodies. It was a beautiful venue too. It was worth the long trip from downunder and I got to sit in a great seat with a clear view. I am still jumping up and down like a teenager….. :)

Well, his voice is shot.
But, it was interesting to see him and hear him and hear some of his stories. He is very into mentioning the number of songs he's written and how many people have covered them and how many awards he has received. He has written some beautiful tunes. It was good to get a sense of the person.

This was a five star show! Incredible! The lead BETTIS? Is an incredible dancer and singer! Hit every note honoring Prince in classy way no one else does! The band were Prince caliber musicians!!! The crowd was out of their chairs the entire show!!! Go see this act if you can!!!
