The show was in a small club that was packed, good turnout. The band musicians were very talented and authentically captured the Grateful Dead sound, although with 5 musicians. The sound system was very good, and the sound was crisp and clear. The light show was even better than expected. Per tradition at live shows, the songs were long, a half hour into a song there is some vocals (again) and you say to yourself; “wow, this is still the same song…” The crowd picked up when there were vocals, and appeared in a trance during the long instrumentals. I was always anxious for a new song, I wanted more, but time went by. The music was GOOD, and I was happy to hear musicians playing the genre. I would see the band again, anytime, if only to hear different songs. A show not to be missed by any Grateful Dead enthusiast. Keyboard, drums, guitar were fantastic. I wish the band well on this tour, they are really getting around. Please come back to Seattle area.
They tore this show up and gave everybody a real taste of the Culture. They'll need a bigger venue next time for sure. Good cats that hung out with us after the show. Get them 3XL Hot 8 shirts stop playing! LOL
Amazing show! Small intimate venue and lots of audience interaction. They always bring the energy and positivity. Also, that opener Jigsaw Youth was a”freaking”mazing too. What a lineup, great pit and got to meet all of them at the merch table. Best show this year by far!!
The show was fantastic. Vocals were superb, the onstage energy was electric, and the set list was great mix of new and old. They were also very kind when meeting fans after the show. Won’t miss an opportunity to see them again if they return to Seattle.
Great sound, super energy. Drummer was great. The music was upbeat , easy to dance to. Great vocals keys , guitar parts and cool saxophone and trumpet section.
Small venue = good. Sound seemed a little muddy/too loud, but I don't get out much so little to compare to. Band on fire at times, other times a bit tired. Friendly crowd.
All honesty, not my favorite recorded but it's one of those bands I really enjoyed live! The energy and sounds mash so well on stage and would definitely see them again
Put on a great show! Really enjoyed the show and the crowd responded really well to the sound coming from the stage. They sounded incredible!
Pine Hearts were excellent, and Barefoot Movement brought all the versatility and energy those who know them have come to expect. I love me a little Hendrix and/or Zeppelin-infused bluegrass. Such a great show! More please!!
Incredible show by Arise Roots at the High Dive in Seattle! Thank you for putting on such a memorable event! Please come back soon - we love you!
These folks are seriously talented songwriters, singers and instrumentalists! We really enjoyed watching and listening to them again, and the venue was relaxed and friendly. Drink prices were a bit high but we weren’t there for the drinks anyway.
The Parisalexa concert was AMAZING! Both opening artists Talaya and Ariana DeBoo have beautiful voices and gave phenomenal performances. Talaya’s cover of Is It A Crime by Sade was straight 🔥. When ParisAlexa came out she turned the packed house into a big party. . Then sang two ballads “Water Me” and “Numb” that anyone who’s ever been in a relationship could relate too. Finally she surprised the audience with an amazing cover of a Brandy song! Best show I’ve seen in a long time!
I was late to the show, the high dive was packed out, the show was rockin’, the band sounded amazing, the performance was beyond spectacular, the best I’ve seen yet, the crowd wasn’t the greatest, the venue is not one of my favorites. #StarCrawlerRules
I've seen John Doe many times with X but this was the first one with the Trio and also first time to the High Dive. Great, smaller location to view with visibility from anyplace in the confines. Great restaurants/drinking holes nearby for pre/post party. Now for John and the Trio, great time and music. Recommended!
The sound was great, the band was personable. My friend asked them to sign his show and they were 100% willing to do so 😂
Im a Bostonian . I welcome East Coasters when I get a chance Seven years ag, I saw this band when they were brand spanking new. Fast forward to 10/22. They take the stage.. this is one of my favorite moments. I view the band then turn around to watch the faces of the folks who have no idea what's up😄laughing at them as they see what could be a Sabbath or ACDC cover band!! The crowd is showing signs of skepticism. Half a song in, there is a whole new crowd of followers! This band skillfully smoked that stage. What I loved the most were their harmonies and their twist on dead tunes that I had tired of. The treasures of the dead vault were straight up and played to those who may only know Deal Truckn etc.
Their transitions were ethereal and soothing. A beautiful lilt of Musically poetry. This was when I knew that my friends were happy with my continual encouragement to get to the High Dive! Come back soon Bearly Dead
It was a great show! I loved her set, the mix of old and new songs was a good blend of her catalog. I also really loved that she talked about the inspiration behind her songs 💚
Ceschi always puts on an amazing live show from loud driving hip hop to intimate acoustic guitar. If he can he’ll bring the crowd out side or gather them on the floor to sing directly to the people. This show, with a 5 piece live band is an incredible crescendo to an already awesome show.
This show was phenomenal! There were some issues with the audio (probably because one girl drunkenly danced across the stage and spilled her drink on the mixing board...) and Tommy was sick, but she killed it! Honestly, had she not said anything, I would not have known! To me, that is the spirit of a great artist. Thanks Tommy!
High dive is NOT a great night club. The space and layout is restrictive. Still, kaminanda gave us a great show. 2 ½ of great music!!!
