The show was decent. As a long time fan of Gareth Emery I didn't quite get the musical experience I was hoping for. The venue wasn't the greatest either unless you were lucky enough to fit on the main floor. We got stuck under the upper level so the lasers weren't as impressive as it could have been. You could also tell they may have a bit a tired from the previous night in Montreal!
favourite concert so far! i only started listening to miw recently and i’m so glad i decided to get tickets. miw and the opening acts put on an insane show! the mosh pit was amazing and everyone there was so nice :) tho leaving the parking lot at rebel after a concert took like an hour :/
All of the bands put on a super good show, but minus one star for the crowd. I’ve been to over 40 shows since I started going to metal concerts 10 years ago, and that crowd had no idea how to act. Some dude tried to strangle me because I pushed his girlfriend wasn’t letting me out of the pit. And it’s not like I’m a huge dude. I’m a small woman. That was just one of the three incidents. Learn some moshing etiquete or don’t go to shows. Simple as that.
Absolutely 💯 energy . Every band on this bill gave 💯 % of their energy to the crowd . And the crowd used it and threw it right back to the bands . It was a sea of crowdsurfing.non stop for every band . If you have never seen any of these bands I highly recommend you to get on it . You will not be disappointed.
Amazing show! Flawless performances, sounded great!
Downside to the show? The huge slow moving line of people just looking or who didn’t know what they wanted, that was divided among the bands it seemed, had to stand in line twice; At the end of the experience, realizing I was meeting Attila Csihar’s amazing daughter! Thank you for coming to Toronto!
There was some disorganization and the usual chaos of a huge event but aside from that, the show was incredible. This was my first time seeing Bad Omens live and I am absolutely floored at how amazing they are live. I was lucky enough to snag VIP tickets and the band were all so lovely and laid back. Will absolutely try to attend another show when they come back.
This would get 5 stars if the fan base didn’t become so toxic over the past year and a half. I’ve seen Bad Omens five times in the last 2-3 years, by far this was their best show but man, these new generation emo kids have no manners and only care about getting a TikTok of Just Pretend.
INK killed it, obviously. One of the best shows I've been to in years, the band and the staging were amazing! ABR were as awesome and brutal as the first time as I saw them, never heard Veil of Maya before that show but DAMN it was good and HEAVY and the band were pros despite so mic problems (seriously props to the singer for keeping his cool) and Mike's Dead was a fun first band vibe for the night. The venue by itself was perfect for the show. A bigger venue is not as fun in my opinion. The parking, the outside and the getting there part were terrible though. Outside it smelled like poo and trash and leaving (or trying too) was stupidly impossible. It took almost two hours before I was able to get out of the parking because of a terribly placed traffic light that makes it impossible to have a normal flow of vehicles in and out. TLDR : great venue but do NOT go there by car.
This was the best concert I have ever been to. I was front row so it was a beautiful experience. Bebe Rexha is such a kind and down to earth artist who interacts with the fans a lot. She lets fans on stage to have a dance off during her song “Hey Mama” and whoever wins gets a t-shirt. That was the most fun I have ever had in a concert. And I’m a huge Bebe Rexha fan so it meant a lot. Her voice is really good, she does an amazing performance of her songs live. She is very talented with good catchy music. And her outfits are gorgeous. Beautiful talented woman. I highly recommend seeing Bebe Rexha in concert and try to get front row. It’s truly an incredible experience that you don’t want to miss!
hot and stuffy. too much mosh pitting and pushing. if you put your hands up , you couldn’t put them down. very scary experience and everyone left drenched in sweat. i love lucki but i’m never going in a crowd again, im 22 but i feel too grown for that shit now. mezzanine next time for sure. i couldn’t really experience the concert because i was too distracted by my surroundings.
The energy brought to the crowd is UNREAL, and the lineups were great! Playthatboizay and AG club pumped up the crowd incredibly well and redveil has some solid live tracks, ending strong by the end of it all
And of course, Denzel is the perfect main event/showstopper! The man brings an unreal level of hype and knows how to have fun while performing for everyone
The concert was amazing. They sound exactly like how they sound on their record. I've known about the band forever, since their debut, but I only became a fan last year in 2021. After I watched the recent Rurouni Kenshin movies and heard their soundtrack for it, I became a fan and delved into listening to all their songs.
Meeting them and speaking with them for a brief moment was so special! It made the experience even better. They had such a warm and inviting presence, and the whole concert felt like an absolute party.
The concert was awesome! I just started listening to them a couple weeks ago and I have no regrets buying tickets last minute. The show was awesome the band group was well played! I wish they were singing "wherever you are" cause that's how I got into them! I also wish they have a official merch I would love to buy a hoodie or t-shirt. When will you be back next?
The venue is full pack. People keep pushing. Security guards were not doing their job. One area supposed to close but they open it for other people. Like who knows who are VIP or Platinum or on general admission. Everyone is just cramped in one place. Very disorganized.
It was a great show but the problem are the organizer who organized the show. Paying more than $200 for a good view and good place to see the show still based on first come first serve.
Hopefully it will better and organized. So disappointed though. It was my first concert but the rebel hall did bad at organizing.
Fames on fire, you at six and One ok rock were awesome!
I’ve seen parkway every single time they’re in Toronto and they NEVER disappoint! The energy is amazing, my favourite band to see live! If you have a chance to go don’t pass it by you won’t regret it. I’ve met the band, Winston is the biggest sweetheart. I love them.
Behemoth is always fantastic live, great sound, great quality show, and this time around after 2 years of not coming around due to the pandemic they seemed genuinely appreciative of the crowd (not that they aren't usually, but it just hit different this time around). The crowd chanted "Behemoth" at one point and Nergal seemed taken aback, which was sweet in my opinion. Always a great time with these guys.
Dope show. Earl commands that stage like a reverend. Good energy from the crowd - moshing for the bangers and ones up for the lo-fi tracks. A few more style switches and something more than just Earl and a DJ up there all night - maybe some live instrumentation - would have been cool but it was a good rap show with some good rap songs.
Alien weaponry was sick, never heard them before but easily my favorite out of the setlist.
Carpenter brut had very weird visuals that made it hard to actually jam with the music.
And ministrys mosh pit kicked my ass so i guess thats good? Except i ended up throwing up while he was singing "its a nightmare, its a nightmare".
Thats just me, so alien weaponry great, carpenter brut kinda shitty but they picked up at the end of their set, and ministry was trippy as hell and i couldnt stick around for it.
3/5
I 💜 Jessie J. This was my fourth time seeing her. The venue was beautiful BUT...I needed to sit because of an accident. We were corralled at the very back of the venue. Concert time listed at 7:00 pm. Jessie J didn't come on until close to 10:00. By 11:00 she was just starting the second half. I have only ever left concerts that I thought were horrible. I had to leave early because of the time. I was so disappointed to miss the second half. Jess looked the best I had ever seen her. I hope her next concert in Toronto is soon.
They kicked ass. It was my first time seeing them and they slayed it out there. I would definitely go and see them again. A friend of mine said she has seen them 9 times and this was by far the best performance by them she has seen. Rock on fellas 🤘🏼
