INCREDIBLE! We thought the last time we saw them at Starlight Theatre last year was their farewell, TRILLED they are still going strong! We will come see you guys every time you come to town. Hey Luis! thanks for spotting out Leslie and saying hi, we look forward to hanging out a minute with you next time you're in town.
The concert was delayed and cut short because of a tornado. Still, the sound and quality of the bands are absurdly good.
The bad weather is not anyone’s fault, but I think the revenue could have done better. They started the show with less than half of the people in and had provided no updates on the plan to start during the storm.
Thunder, and lightning, and a tornado shalt not thwart the Reverend Maynard James Keenan from performing. This was also my two teenage kids' first concert. When "The Humbling River" was preformed, all three of us had tears of joy, and that's the moment I knew that they both fell in love with attending concerts and live music.
I saw Zombie and Cooper years ago on a tour-they were in Springfield, MO…great show then and even a greater show in 2023! Fantastic show! I highly recommend seeing Zombie every chance you get! (As well as Alice Cooper and Ministry, but Filter, the opening band, just didn’t seem to jive with the other 3 bands)
It was my daughters first concert. She was excited to go see Parker. Pretty bummed that there was a fire and Parker didn't even come out. Hope he will be putting on another show soon for us.
On another note, Chris Lane was great! My 10 yr old knew a lot of the songs he sang and was up dancing! <3
RatS is always amazing! I saw her open for Demi Lovato in 2022. She opened for Fallout Boy at this show along with Daisy Grenade and Alkaline Trio. So there was def not enough of her! She played new, unreleased music at both shows, which was sweet af. I cannot wait to see her headline! 🐀🐀🐀 or ⚰️!!
Aaron was great, it was a 3 piece acoustic set, that’s probably the best way to see him. Just be aware that he has strong political views and he will share them with you. I agree with him 100%, but some in the crowd were offended.
Anybody who came in late or was standing in the merch line missed a performance that is headliner worthy. Vocals were fire, drums were banging and between guitar and the bassist (vocals too) becoming a human beyblade on stage … this was our surprise band of the year. Perfect sound, perfect tempo and crowd interaction, we will be looking to see the again!!
Absolute great line up, love this venue except for the merch line. There must be a way to sell more merch so that we don’t miss bands waiting to buy shirts to support the bands. Merch on the outside or sale after concert but there’s just not enough merch vendor booths at the venue. The concert itself was so great, all 4 bands brought the heat it’s a show to remember!!
Was so so so good! The bands were great! Everyone killed it! Did suck a bit with people passing out and the show has to stop a couple of times but props to the band and everyone who looked out for another. Really proud of them! So sad it was over already!
I loved the show. But I wish there was a way to tell the Black Veil Brides to fire the sound crew. Their music is amazing and I have seen them twice and it has been ruined live by the sound team. Instruments too loud and vocals are too low. Andy gets lost. It’s a shame the talent is wonderful.
Loved it! The bands were awesome and I was so in awe of them all! I did literally think I was gonna die or get hurt at times because I was right up to the front in GA. I think that the VIP should have a roped off GA because I waited for hours for the spot I wanted and some people were aggressively trying to push me out of the way. I won't do that again with those circumstances but nevertheless it was a great time and experience!
the crowd was a nightmare because everyone was drunkenly fighting and crowd surfing, so the bands had to keep stopping their performances due to people getting hurt. kind of wish the venue would have actually enforced their no crowd surfing rule. the bands were phenomenal though.
There should be more stars to select. Hope y'all didn't mind my synching up artistically with you last night ... Didn't plan on the guy to the left of me handing me his glow sticks and saying, "lets see what you can do with these." So, I released my fears and insecurities. Let my authenticity, love for music and the band take flight. Replying with out words and for the first time gave 0 fcks what people would think and do what I do behind closed door and well just give it name now, 😈 Blue Light Sophia Energy Tribal Fusion Intuitive Interpretive ONE With Self and Spirit Transmutation Dance. My heart and soul soared to new heights. Thank you guys for a night I will never forget!
Turnpike put on as good of a show as ever. Man I missed them while they were taking time off. Azura theater however needs to get their poop in a group. I’m hey we’re in no way ready for the amount of people that turnpike got to show up.
The show was great overall!
Muscadine Bloodline and Morgan Wade were outstanding. I really enjoyed watching them. Gov’t Mule was not good. Their style of music really didn’t fit this lineup. I’m not a big fan of Grateful Dead sounding bands with 8 minute guitar solos. They played far too long, and would’ve liked to see the other bands get more time. Turnpike was outstanding. Their set was great, and I’m glad to see them in concert again! My only minor gripe is that I would’ve loved to have seen them play The Mercury and Easton and Main in the encore. However, given the fact that they have tons of amazing songs to put in a set list, I get it.
The show was fantastic! All three acts were great!! But Jon was off the charts and just as awesome as I expected he would be!!!
The VIP experience is kind of a joke however. Not really sure why I am paying extra money to not have special access to anything once the concert starts. It is a literal free-for-all and you get no special section of bars and or bathrooms so you are stuck standing in line for 20 to 30 minutes and missing big chunks of the concert. They need to do some research and see how other places do it as I have been too much better VIP set ups!
Clay Walker concert was the best ever he was all over the stage and his voice was amazing and the music was pure country I've listened to Clay Walker since the 80s and still love it his new music was good great stage presence id love to see him and the fellows again thanks for the memories and tears, goosebumps and singalongs it was a great time had by all in Kansas City
It was quite an experience... to say the least. I had a GA ticket so getting close to the stage was difficult, even though I got there early. Also, it was delayed because of thunderstorms, so we had to cram into bathrooms for what seemed like hours. However, it was all worth it when I somehow made it to the second row despite the chaos lining up and they finally came out on stage. The set list was also amazing! Worth all the pain from standing for hours!
i’ve gone to a lotttt of concerts but this was by far the best one I have ever been to. I was in the pit and everything was like a fever dream. Even songs I didn’t think I cared for were a million times better in person. Also now suffering from post concert depression.
