I have enjoyed their music for years. Finally had the opportunity to see them live, up and close. Their music was fantastic; it was nice to see them take solos given that their recorded music does not offer that to the extent of what they offer live. In terms of presentation, lots of video with confetti going off too often for my taste. I thoroughly enjoy watching the musicians themselves and all the commotion is a bit distracting. The vocals were a bit muffled at times. Nonetheless, I had a fantastic time.
Life nation really dropped the ball on this set up. There was poor signage, and parking instructions. There were multiple car wrecks both going to and leaving the venue. I have been to many shows at this venue. The pit tickets cost 350, and lawn were $25. I have been listening to Slipknot since 2002, it was magical to have a throwback concert. Slipknot killed it. I wish it was more like Mayhem at the Meadows back in the day. Life Nation capitalist greed has sucked the culture out of our concerts. I don't think Slipknot is receiving most of the profits from the tickets...
First time seeing him perform live and it was an absolutely incredible experience. The atmosphere was so electric; Andrew’s stage presence and voice were nothing short of mesmerizing and his band matched his energy beautifully. The performance was raw in the way that you could truly feel the heart and soul of every person on that stage as they surrendered themselves to the music. It was an unforgettable night.
Amazing experience! Marilyn Manson was awesome and Fiver Finger Death Punch was so interactive with the crowd! What an incredible show and performance. Ivan Moody is such a genuine guy! He gave my girlfriend’s niece a drum stick after the show was over. Such a memorable concert. My first time seeing them and I will definitely be attending their next show when they’re in town! 🤘🏻
Santana was fabulous as ever. Wow. Counting Crows was its usual milquetoast. What stood out most was the disgusting monopoly that Ticketmaster and Live Nation has done to destroy concert culture in America.
This venue is not some fancy place. It's an RV amphitheater about 25 mis north of Portland in SW Washington. Capacity maybe 4k seated and another 4 k on a lawn about 300 yds or more from the stage (with small jumobtrons). Good tix: about $275-400. Mediocre ones but not on the lawn 125 each. The shuttle from the remote parking lot was cash only and would not break a $20.
Arriving at the venue, well it was CASHLESS. LOL. Cards only. OK. Absolutely nothing permitted inside except blanket but not even a cloth bag to hold it. Only water available: liquid death at $7 a can. Coke $11 in "refillable" cup. U cant bring ur own lawn chair but hey you can rent one for just $20. Hamburgers $18. A margarita jar $28. And more rules, rules and rules as if in some sort of lockup. Bottom line: if a couple buys decent tix, pays $60 for premium parking. $20 for "Fastlane Entrance" and maybe a burger and a beer each and you are literally pushing one thousand dollars! Same price as 2 roundtrip tickets to Europe. Ticketmaster must be broken up. and soon!
I did not know what I was getting into since I was 90% there for Motion City Soundtrack. This show was phenomenal. This was my 2nd New Found Glory show and this blew that last show out of the water. All American Rejects put on a true SHOW and every detail was fantastic. The camerawork, projections, and sets/props were great, more work than any live show I've seen in a long time. Thank you to everyone who put this together and to all of the people Chad dedicated the show. From a rural emo kid seeing her favorite bands in her 30s.
I was very disappointed in this concert. The drinking allowed people to scream and yell at the performers constantly, and it was never checked by the usher. I realize people like to whistle and scream, but it was out of hand. We also totally missed Lauren Alaina because of the poor organization getting people into the venue. I'll have to really want to see someone in order to return to this venue.
First off, Love PTX. So incredible to see them live. The show was spectacular and they just keep getting better and better. Looking forward to the Christmas tour.
Second comment. The venue was not as good and my main complaint was the system of getting the fans inside. We were in the ADA section, waited 2 hours, and missed the first show. We made it in side right before PTX came on stage luckely. Poor management as there were only two tables for security. It could have been set up more smoothly to get paying fans inside to actually see the show.
No complaints about Pentatonix as the premiere A Capella group the world over, just find a better venue
First time at this venue. It’s large and has a wide open layout and a variety of viewpoint options.
Glad we purchased reserved seats but lack of incline/decline contributed to difficulty seeing and hearing with large immobile patrons seated in front of us.
Staff were very friendly and helpful directing us to various vendors and walkways.
Checkin was easy as was prepaid parking.
Neil was as always a talented and versatile performer with his personality and gentle manner.
This show was incredible! I am so happy with the venue and performances! Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg know how to put on a show! It was my husbands and I second time seeing Wiz Khalifa but first time seeing Snoop Dogg and it was absolutely incredible! I hope to see them again! Thank you for your amazing spirit as artists! And THANK YOU for taking the time to show love and make tributes to artists who are no longer with us! It was amazing to see you and hear you show love to them <3 .
From where I was sitting it was difficult to hear what Hank was saying or singing. Also wanna mention that the parking situation was very unorganized plus getting to the venue was difficult and the RV inn style website lied, found out later that there is a shuttle that runs from the salmon creek park and ride on Friday also not just on Saturday and Sunday like the website states.
KoRn-Evanescence-POD AMAZING!!
Highly Recommend the Venue-Inn Style Resorts Amphitheater. Overall one of the best experiences at a venue I have ever had. They have so many processes in place to help keep lines short and offer fast service in all areas. So much better than the MODA Center and indoor venues in general. Lots of space to move around.
Guest Service: Top Notch! Every person we encountered was super friendly and patient. Parking attendants, check-in, concessions, restrooms, etc… All great experiences.
Food/Beverage: Exceeded expectations! Lots of places to order and pick up food with clear signage for items and pricing. This venue has definitely invested in streamlining the process for prepping items to be ready at high volume times. They have online ordering for everything. Making it super easy to order and pickup food and merchandise-Genius! Areas to fill water bottles was an awesome bonus!
Restrooms: Exceeded expectations! I was surprised how clean the restrooms were. We used them twice and both times there were staff continuously working on upkeep!
Merchandise sales: Exceeded expectations. Fast lines, multiple places to purchase, online ordering available. Cashless and took phone pay! They even told my son he could switch out his shirt later if he decided he wanted something different. That was very nice and unexpected.
Seats/Acoustics: Sound was awesome. We were in section 103. Our seats were good. Wish the stadium seating was a little more sloped for better viewing. The stage isn’t super high so could definitely be difficult for shorter people. My husband and 2-sons are 6’1-6’3, felt a little bad for people behind us.
Parking: Needs improvement-Specifically in the after show experience. (With how well run everything else was, I didn’t dock any stars for this) Entry into the venue was easy and seamless. Attendants directing traffic where to go- seemed organized. Leaving was a very different story. You can expect some delay with thousands of people leaving at the same time, however there were not nearly enough attendants staffed to control the crowd going out. It took us over an hour to get out of the lot and once we were on the freeway we could see the lot was still full with cats waiting to leave. I am sure it was another hour at least for all of those people to get out.
Shuttle Service: Poor- Shuttle service was advertised for this concert, however it never showed up. Communicating that option not being available was poor and left us and many others very disappointed.
Thank you for an awesome memorable night! It was my youngest boys (age 9+11) first concert. We were all very happy!
Bush blew me away live, like wow Gavin Rosedale has a amazing voice and band definitely had that 90's grunge sound! They played one of my favorite songs, the sound of winter also Gavin ran past me when he was running around the amphitheater, it was a amazing experience! The last new album they put out, The Kingdom has some killer songs on it, definitely recommend downloading it!🤘🤘🤘
Great time. George Thorogood was surprisingly good and funny too! (See what I did) SH was very engaging and enjoyed the concert. Love the fact he nit only sang but Anthony and Johnson as well! They look like they’re having a lot of fun, which projects towards the crowd and fans! It was a fun concert!!
Only reason 4 stars, we had reserved seats and since lawn seats sold out and seats didn’t, decision was made for lawn seat fans to get upgraded. Which is great, however, thought that reserved seats should have been upgraded or given some sort of compensation as well.
Megadeth was absolute perfection. Their sound mix was exceptional, their execution was flawless, and simply put, Dave and Co are legends!!! The Hu were cool! 5FDP were ok. Their mix was a mess, vocals WAY too loud, the instrument mix was awful at first and by about their 6-7 song it sounded better but we left. As always the staff is very nice and the facility is awesome as well!
This was while he was the opener for AJR the show was amazing, I have no complaints. During the intermission he was doing a "meet and greet" but it was really just signing of merchandise. I was 4th in line and had nothing for him to sign I was in all black, and he wasn't taking pictures. So while I walk away with a great memory, still have a bitter taste in my mouth
was far in the field. still incredible. will never forget, even tho i was very drunk the entire time. i danced with every interesting person willing and tried to climb over the barrier. luckily had 2 friends to stop me before we could get kicked out. pumped ranch all over my hand instead of my chicken strip. the water was FOUR DOLLARS. $1 water or free woulda given that last star. hm.
Wish the LoG set was longer, but ... if you are a Slayer fan (I am) it would have been worth $200 to see that show! They played tons of songs and they were on their A game. I have seen them in 3 decades and this was in my top 2 out of too many to count. LoG brought their best but it’s hard to top a Slayer farewell show. Missed Chris Adler, my favorite piece of the Richmond Rorschach Test...
My all time Favorite Band! I Love the stories that Adam shares that give the songs even more feeling and life. If that is even possible because his music is so amazing! This 25 year year tour he shared more about each song and it made me Love Counting Crows Music even more. Thank You for the Music Adam & Counting Crows!
